It was the perfect place for Fathers Day lunch. The lobster bisque & crab wontons are amazing! We had the Mahi Mahi & sirloin. The fish dish was best. More

Finally a good pasta place on the westside true to Italian roots! Not too salty and the mozarella is to die for! Hands down the best dish I have had all year was the paparradelle with duck ragu and orange zest. I'm still dreaming about it! More

Tapas / Small Plates | Redondo Beach, Beach Cities

My husband being of Basque heritage, we decided to try this restaurant dedicated to Basque cuisine. I won't lie this place is kinda small, and without a reservation you may have to wait quite a while during peak times. The food, however, makes it all worthwhile. They basically serve tapas style and sizes, which of course encourages people to perhaps try dishes they wouldn't otherwise think of. Everything arrives at the table hot and smelling wonderful. I was blown away by an appetizer of blue cheese stuffed dates wrapped in jamon. They melt in your mouth, and create such a happy symphony of flavors. You'll be tempted to just keep eating them, but push forward since there are many more lovely flavors to introduce to your taste buds. The decor is somewhat simple, but remember you are there for the food. The servers are all very nice, and checked on us often without being annoying. We came on a Thusday which is the one night of the week they serve Paella, so of course we had to give it a try and we wern't sorry. We were also able to meet the Chef/Owner, who was so nice and even open to ideas of additions to the menu. We have decided to make this restaurant a place we will frequent often, and have already recommended it to friends and family. Please give this place a try, but don't forget about that reservation. I can only imagine you will love it too. More

This is a true gem in the heart of West Hollywood. SO recommend it! The owner/proprietor is charming and the food is outstanding--very authentic Italian. The restaurant is small and cozy and you feel like you're in Italy, even though you're on Sunset Blvd! More

Thurston and I had the most delicious meal. First we started with burrata and it was so good! Then we had Octopus salad, oh wow this was something fantastic! And then the Verde Lasagna, so delicious it was unbelievable. You could taste every ingredient in every dish! I had a glass of Pinot Nero (wonderful) and Thurston had an Italian Beer Menabrea Birra, he loved it. It was very mild and went well with the food. We ended our night with an Apple Tart and Espresso. What a lovely evening we had with perfect Italian food. We will be back!! More
