Very good food, very good service. A great place for brunch .
Great food, great drinks, amazing Service
New gen restaurant mgr who elimited the small donuts in lieu of bread I assume. Small cost savings to rest I assume. Also chicken n waffles for $15 poor price/ quan relstionship cause only 1/2 waffle is served. Not worth the price with all brunch competitors in area
The food was great for the price and location!!!!!
Stopped in for brunch and a cocktail but was not impressed with the menu or service. We opted to have two drinks for a steep price of $25 and decided to eat elsewhere. Many better options in the area.
excellent food. quantity of meal large. smaller portions would be nice.
Great food and service. We had chilaquiles and chicken & waffles, and they were delicious.
The food was good and the tableside service was great; but food preparation was slow, especially during lunch hour, even though it was 80% empty.
The Groupon offers somewhat of a value but the selection on.Brunch items was not good selection honestly
Arrived to be told at the front reception that they would have problems with service. Only one bartender, limited wait staff and the kitchen was servicing the restaurant and the whole hotel.
We left. Saturday evening dinner service? Not for long when you can’t staff the kitchen, bar or front of house.
Only positive is that we didn’t sit for 2 hours to figure it out.
My co worker and I wanted a quiet place, plus a place we could spread our paper work--This place was perfect- A friend told us about this place. Must be best kept secret in the city or perhaps there were no conferences going on-
I DO NOT WANT THIS PUBLISHED
Great Brunch Menu..
The food was decent and the cocktails were great. We had good service. We had a groupon so it wasn't as expensive, but could be quite pricey if paying full price.
We were there for dinner and morning brunch. For dinner, we were on of maybe 5 or 6 other tables. The food took quite a long time to arrive and was not very good. We had a new years special, which seemed to be a medley of all the food they were trying to get rid of.
The food for brunch was on the better side of average. The service was so-so. We said, 4 people ( 2 were to arrive shortly ) and they sat us at a table for 2. Once they brought us to a table for 4, they brought only 2 water glasses, etc....
Wasn't too excited about going to restaurant in a hotel lobby but was pleasantly surprised. Creative brunch menu, both drinks and food. Service was great too.
They gave us donuts in a basket before our meal even started!
Very nice experience . Waitress was very attentive and noise level was minimal. Good was good.
went there noon on a Sunday and asked for scrambled eggs and bacon. Waiter told me they could only do 'menu' items.
Not a good start. He did admit they had eggs, and had bacon and did have someone that could actually make those for me.
When they arrived there was no toast with it.
One of our group asked for soap and that too appeared to be a major issue.
Dont' bother..there are too many other places to go to
The playoff game was on so there were a few people at the bar that were extremely loud. But once they left it was a nice atmosphere.
This restaurant is in a hotel, and its centered around the hotel bar. Could be a fun bar scene. and location is good which is why we tried it. But noise level was high enough that it was hard to have a conversation. And the service was EXTREMELY slow. We waited more than 20 minutes between ordering and getting drinks, and decided to leave before dining because of it. It was the Saturday of the Chicago marathon, so maybe that had something to do with staff being disorganized.
Note, reviewers have to fill out all fields, but we just picked the middle for Food and Value because we didn't experience the food. Overall, Service, Ambiance and Noise level rating reflect what we actually experienced.
Hugely disappointing. No one came to our table for over 15 minutes. We asked a couple waiters who had no interest. Everything seemed lackadaisical as was the food.
Good choice for a quiet night with excellent service and food. Recommend the tacos.
Adriana was an awesome server. Food was flavorful and large portions. Was a quiet place to sit and relax.
Portions especially chicken and waffles, way to small. It's a brunch not a tapas. Drinks too skimpy . Service excellent
I had a Groupon I mistakenly purchased for four instead of two. Asked if we could come back next weekend for the other two since we had just eaten our lunch . Management said no . Had to order two more meal that we could not eat .
Love coming here for brunch. The food is always so good..
Exzellent dishes, were there for Brunch/ lunch! Nice Staff, good Drinks!
Not what I was expecting. Totally empty for a Saturday night and in a hotel lobby... not impressed
This is my favorite brunch place in Chicago love the food coffe and atmosphere
Food was very good, expected a nicer place from the photos. Service was average, seemed like a typical hotel breakfast.
We were here back in 2013 and they had the post roast. Now just the normal breakfast stuff. They kept the price.
Great service! The food was good and we especially enjoy the mini donuts for brunch as opposed to bread during dinner hours.
It's a great place for everyday dining, not a special occasion. However, I can't say about dinner, we only experienced brunch time.
We have a Groupon so the value is reasonable. My husband and I enjoyed our brunch. We got there after the breakfast rush (around 11) so the timing was perfect as guests are just finishing up breakfast. Our wait staff was nice - pleasant, knowledgeable, provided her recommendation as I was having a hard time making a decision. I eventually decided on the salmon sandwich with an egg. It was tasty and just right. I would have rated it as excellent if they added a piece of fruit. Otherwise, it was overall very good!
We got a brunch deal from Groupon. Our waitress was awesome!
One of the best brunches I have had in Chicago. Highly recommend waffle and fried chicken.
Decent meal, but not great. Thanks to a Living Social voucher, we got two brunch drinks and entrees for $30. That was a good value, but my wife and I agreed that we were glad we didn't pay full price. Nice experience, just nothing remarkable.
Food and drinks were fabulous along with awesome staff!
