About Le Vigne at Montaluce Winery
Food culture is very important to the kitchen at Le Vigne Restaurant, more specifically, local food culture. We believe that food and the sharing of food builds community, especially if the food and wine that is shared is rooted within the community. That is why we not only produce wine from grapes grown in our own vineyard, but grow produce in our own organic garden on the property. What we don’t produce ourselves, we source from the local farms. We want to be able to provide our guests with local, sustainable foods as well as provide the local artisans and farmers an outlet for their hard work. At the beautiful Le Vigne Restaurant, situated high above the vineyards, guests will discover a dedication to honoring the flavors of our region throughout each of the four seasons in a menu that changes regularly to reflect the best of what is available.

I came here for my 21st birthday and it was one of the best experiences I've had that entire weekend. My friends and I bought bottles of wine, with my personal favorite being the 2014 Montaluce Dolce and theirs being some kind of dessert wine. Their food, their staff, and the ambiance is unmatchable Overall, great experience! It was a 5 and 1/2 hour drive and I'll most definitely do it again.
I booked our reservations for three months in advance due to the special occasion and the size of our party of 11. The restaurant lost a reservation and we ended up waiting a while. By the time we were seated late but then took over an hour to get our food. Really disappointing. On the flipside our server was fun and really helpful.
Our special occasion was to celebrate two Birthdays. 4 of our guest flew in (2 from Louisville, KY and 2 from Va Beach, VA) and to enjoy the event at your winery. (PS Both flights were in excess of $700 per couple.) We were "very disappointed" when we were alerted "on the day of our event" that our party was "restricted" to just the upper dining because of a wedding event. If we had known this "when our reservations were made," we would we would have made them for another time to enable our Birthday group to enjoy the full essence of Le Vigne at Montaluce Winery. Needless to say they DID NOT. Even our special seating request close to a view of the Winery's grounds was ignored. I was stuck and had to go through with it in light of such a late notice and all the great expectations my guest had expected from your Web Page and my endorsements. In short, we made the best of it. It cost me $560+ for a very disappointing experience. The way we were treated made it a very memorable event that will "restrict" our consideration of your venue for our company events in the future. In the spirit of best practices and process improvement, when reservations are made for special occasions at a time that will "restrict" the full service capabilities of Le Vigne, the party making the reservations should be ALERTED immediately and well in advance to avoid discounting & restricting their special occasion by another. ( In addition, being a process improvement business consultant I plan to share this experience of process breakdowns by Le Vigne with my Clients and program Audiences as a perfect example for poor Customer Service. ) I hope this process breakdown and abuse of our Birthday Special Occasion helps your organization avoid this mishap in the future.

Celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary. Food was outstanding and the service was superb. Even though there was a wedding being held there and we could not sit in the main dining room, we were very happy sitting in the upstairs restaurant area. Great experience!
Went there with my family to celebrate my birthday
Food was great but the service wasn't that good, it seemed our waitress didn't care a lot about their customers, she wasn't attentive at all
I've been celebrating my birthday in many different restaurants and I've always been greeted with a birthday wish, a special desert or something else, but there,
they knew it was my birthday ( I send a special note) and they didn't even mention
Very personable and knowledgeable wait staff. Wine list was adequate, and food was generally good to excellent. However, the order of Branzino was unsatisfactory. The filet was so thin that it had no flakiness to it, and was extremely overcooked. Would visit again, and maybe spend the weekend there next time.
It was very quiet that night and not many diners so we had undivided attention. The waitress was excellent and the food and wine exceptional. Views are gorgeous. You forget you're in Georgia but at the same time you are thankful to be in such a beautiful state.
Incredible food but the files around our table were really bothersome- one flew into my wine glass, others were flying around the room and about 15 were simply hanging out on the large windows by our table. Gorgeous view, fabulous food and great service but the flies took away from totally enjoying the experience.
Very disappointing!!! We visited on a Monday for lunch. Very good food, and very slow service, or I can say No Service. Had to wait 30 minutes to be seated past our reservation time. After being seated, we waited for one hour for our food. The manager excuse was that he was short of staff... This was not our first time there, however, it is our last.
Property and views are spectacular! However, the hostesses are not accommodating at all. Our reservation was for 1:45pm and we arrived at 1:26pm and we were made to wait on long couch type seats in the bar area. Then finally at around 1:56pm a bar attendant asked if we were waiting for a table and we said yes. Then one of the hostesses asked if we wanted to sit outside, and when we said sure, only for her to tell us there would be an additional wait for a table. We drove from over an hour away for this. We stated that we would sit inside, because we did not want to wait any longer. When we were seated there were plenty of empty tables.
Flies everywhere! All over the windows in the dining area and after our food too! I don't like fighting flies for my food! One flew into a drink of one of our guests, and Carlos said oh well that happens! Really? Not even an offer for a fresh drink.
Our server was Carlos was not great. Food was mediocre at best. Very expensive for a simple cheese and meat tray which 4 of us shared sparingly, and 4 BLT sandwiches and 4 glasses of wine it was $160.00 with tip!
we asked to reserve a certain table 3 months ahead of time, they told me they do not reserve specific tables with reservations. we showed up and there are tables all over the restaurant that have reserved signs on them and the table for 6 you asked for is occupied a party of 2 with a table for 2 right next to it. They showed us to our table inside and the windows are completely covered in black flies on the inside of the restaurant, so they pulled 2 tables together outside that did not come close to being level. we have gone there now 5 times because of the setting but will not be back.
