This is my all time favorite restaurant. The food , service and just the beautiful space make it a exceptional experience.
I love the mussels with the best cone of skinny French fries. The dessert menu is delicious. Great cocktails and wine list. They also have a spectacular bar and happy hour. You can't go wrong here.

Lavender Bistro is a place to go for the entire experience. The food was amazing with fresh organic ingredients and beautiful presentations of the dishes. The ambience is gorgeous - romantic and secluded, inside and out. We sat out in the courtyard for dinner and it was lovely the way the trees were lit and fountains were running. A musician provided music during our meal, and his choice of music and volume level was perfect. Many patrons complimented him on their way out. We also noticed the lavender-colored napkins and lavender bow ties worn by the serving staff. We didn't go into the bar/lounge area on our visit but definitely would have enjoyed it, had we had more time. Just can't say enough great things about the place. A gem.

One of my favorite places in the desert. It is the perfect date night spot. The patio is so romantic with all of the twinkle lights in the trees. The food never disappoints and I try something different everytime. This time I had the roasted Duck and my husband had the pork chop. Both were excellent as was my beet salad and lets not forget the apple tart with vanille ice cream on top yummy delish.

My wife and I took our son and daughter-in-law for an evening out since they were visiting from Orange County. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the sparkling lights and the great service. Our meals were prepared to each of our expectations and very delectable. The service top rate and the evening was a beautiful ending to a wonderful day. Thank You Lavender Bistro !!

Food was excellent but very poor service. Have dined here many times but this time was not so good for service. Waited a very long time for waiter to take order and had to ask for bill at desk because waiter was not around. Would have understood if restaurant was full, but not the case.

We love the Lavendar Bistro. It is probably the prettiest restaurant in the Valley. This night, however, we had a waiter who didn't give great service, which is very dissapointing. He was likely new, as they had just opened for the season. We will definitely go again and give it another try.

Lavender Bistro has the most beautiful and romantic patio in the desert. The chef is French; the food is consistently fine. My husband is a mussels snob and says the mussels here (from Prince Edward Island) are the best ever. We have eaten here at least twenty times and every time has been wonderful. Highly recommended.

We arrived about 15 minutes prior to our reservation and we imbibed a few happy hour drinks in the bar before dinner. Hostess kindly held our OT reservation while we enjoyed the final innings of Dodger playoff game on TV. After a 4-3 victory, we kept our beverages as we entered a beautifully lit patio. We passed their talented guitarist, as we were led to our table where we were met by our waiter and staff. We enjoyed a couple of fantastic salads - wedge with extra bacon and a caesar with anchovies on the side. The lobster ravioli was served piping hot and it was amazing as was her Scottish salmon. A delicious cup of their Keoke coffee made for a fine dessert. Lavender Bistro helped us celebrate a very special evening.

What a wonderful dinner experience. The ambiance was so charming. The butternut squash ravioli appetizer was to die for, the main entree (prime rib) melted in my mouth, and the fairytale pumpkin cheesecake was a delicious ending! Such an enjoyable experience!

This lovely restaurant never disappoints--we've been there on thanksgiving, and they handled the volume of diners with aplomb, and the food was great for such a busy night. Two subsequent visits were also completely pleasurable. Dining on the patio is the quintessential CA experience.

Problem was that menu had changed and we requested patio dining and patio was closed. Restaurant and Open Table were not in sync. Table was not what we hoped for in celebrating anniversary. We've eaten here several times and this was our first disappointment.

Was all good except that the waiter brought me lobster ravioli instead of butternut squash ravioli. I'm slightly allergic to lobster, has caused vomiting in the past....when I realized, they comped us to half the meal.

Our Les Dames d'Escoffier International group wanted to get together for a Restaurant Week meal. Lavender Bistro was the choice, and we were all impressed with the ambiance, food, service and special Restaurant Week pricing.
This was a very delightful dinner and the drinks are superb. I always judge a bar by it's ability to give you a drink that is worthwhile.
Surprised at how large the restaurant is and yet it seemed more intimate.
Nothing to complain about and definitely on our list to return to.
Romantic outdoor dining.
If you like to dine outdoors for dinner, and don't want to be sitting on a foot path or sidewalk, then you will love this restaurant. The area around the restaurant is quiet and the outdoor portion is enclosed with beautiful ficus trees with strings of lights giving a beautiful glow. To make it even better, the food and service is top notch too. There are "booths" surrounding the area if you want more privacy. Booking reservations in advance, especially during high season, is a good idea.
There is None Better!
We have gone to the Lavender Bistro the last two years for restaurant week, plus several times in between. We have never been disappointed. The ambiance, elegant atmosphere, beautiful lavender napkins, and lavender and white flowers as gorgeous as it all is takes a back seat to the exceptionally prepared food. Whether you are at the bar for a glass of wine, Kobe beef sliders with truffle oil french fries or in the dining room, with an elegant meal too good to share, the food is always incredible. My husband had the scallops and shrimp grilled to perfection--best he has ever had according to him. I had the lobster ravioli and every mouthful was fabulous. We started with a salad with a beautifully poached pear along side-- a beautiful presentation and tasted awesome. Our server Javier was excellent taking care of our needs, yet never imposing. He was charming. We happily recommend this restaurant to all we meet and a very excited to take friends and family when they visit. This place gets a 10+!!!!
My partner and I enjoyed a "date night" at Lavender. I had been here a few times in the past, he had never been here. We loved it from start to finish. We were first seated at a table for two in a room with no windows, which also had two very large tables seating two different groups. We felt like we were seated at the kiddie table at a family gathering, so we asked to be moved. The hostess was more than pleased to move us to the larger room in the main dining area. We were seated at a corner table and loved it.
Out server was attentive without being intrusive, and answered our questions about menu items and wine pairing with confidence. We enjoyed a half dozen oysters on the half shell and glasses of sparkling wine. We ordered rack of lamb and the pork shop, both of which we were told are very popular menu items. Both were delicious and the presentation on the plates was perfect. We shared the apple tart for dessert, which wowed us with its delectable combination of flavors!
Overall, a wonderful dining experience, and we look forward to returning soon.
