Delightful business dinner on the patio ...
Delightful business dinner on the patio by the waterfall and the rock outcropping. Attentive and polite service. Four people had 4 different things and we were all pleased with our meal. Will go again when I am back in town. Want to go in daylight to see the view, but evening was very nice too.

We were greeted by a friendly hostess that walked us to our booth with a lovely view of the Mountains. I loved that I can select our wine from an iPad. My Sugar-spiced Salmon was excellent and my bride enjoyed her filet mignon. For desert we enjoyed a blueberry cabernet Sorbet and chocolate ice cream. Sounds funny but it is delish!
Our favorite restaurant in the Coachella ...
Our favorite restaurant in the Coachella Valley. The sugar spiced salmon is so tender and tasty and we love the crunchy rolls and butter served minutes after we are seated. We love viewing the sun as it goes down from our favorite booth as we take advantage of the Sunset dinners. Lori was our server and we've had the pleasure of her serving us before. She is friendly, efficient and keeps an eye out for our needs as she services the other tables. The wait staff is extremely attentive.

Service was good. Scallop appetizer tasted good (sauce) but small or chopped scallops. One of five scallop shells did not have any scallops. The Caesar salad was good. The seafood stew was pretty tasteless. It had 1/2 small lobster tale (expected), 1 shrimp, about 8 small scallops and at least 10 pieces of sole.

We had a lovely night at The Cliffhouse restaurant in LaQuinta. We arrived at 4:30 to enjoy a drink in the bar during happy hour. Our dinner reservation was for 5:30... We were all looking forward to the 'Sunset Special', which your website says is available from 5:00 - 6:00p.m. Our waitress was close to being rude to our table as she informed us the meals needed to be ordered by 5:30 to receive the special. The website write-up needs to be corrected or the staff needs to be informed.

The Cliffhouse is our favorite restaurant and we look forward to each visit. We're part-time desert residents and like to dine here each month. The food is healthy, delicious and a great value as we take advantage of the sunset dinners. Service is impeccable and all service staff makes us feel important.

the filet was underdone more rare than medium rare, however it was seared when identified to cook a little more. the wine list via tablet is cool. Half price bottles of wine on Wednesdays is a great draw and amazing deal.

We had the Sunset dinners - blackened catfish and sugar spiced salmon. The wedge salad is always a favorite.
Enjoyed the ginger martinis!
The chocolate mousse with toffee dessert is the best!

This restaurant is in a beautiful setting. It is built into a cliff with desert plants and a waterfall. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. I would recommend it for any occasion or simply as a great place for a meal. Reasonably priced and a varied menu.

We were joined by friends to belatedly celebrate my birthday and enjoyed a pleasant meal and conversation. Food was excellent and service was comfortably paced to our request. The evening was successful and we plan to return soon.

Excellent visit from start to finish. I had mentioned on the reservation that it was our 15th anniversary celebration, just hoping to get a table off to the side. To our surprise every staff member we saw stated 'Happy Anniversary' and we were even given a desert to celebrate at the conclusion of dinner. Was very impressed

We had driven by this restaurant for years and always wanted to go for dinner. A special occasion came up and we booked it right away. The ambiance was great, we had attentive food servers and absolutely delicious meals. We will definitely be back with friends.

The food was good, not stellar. But the great ambiance makes it even better. Service was solid. Not intrusive or overly attentive but courteous and friendly. I had the seafood stew. The fish was tender with nice size chunks. My fiancé had the short ribs which are hard to do wrong. The wam sourdough bread was addictive and I definitely dipped one too many into my tomato broth.
This place is a great option if you're in or near La Quinta.

The waitress was fantastic, BUT to begin, the bread came after the salads. The blue cheese wedge was ok, but the filet was awful! Terribly overcooked when I asked for medium rare. It was inedible. In fact, I passed it on to my BF who couldn't chew it either. Terribly disappointed. We loved the setting up against the rocks but it was a wind tunnel and hard to really enjoy the patio.

The location is very unique and special. We sat outside and could hear and see the beautiful waterfall. The food was delicious. I had the Chilean Sea Bass which was excellent! My husband enjoyed the ribeye. Great service! We were with a large party and service was great!
