Not seated in requested location. After being seated, lengthy wait for service - so much so, had to ask at hostess desk for waiter/waitress to be sent to table.
Appetizers came promptly and were delicious, but not an overall sense of urgency regarding service. Entrees were as expected, high quality.

Had the pan seared snapper, was excellent. Best fresh fish around and expertly prepared with yummy toppings and sauces. One of my favs is the roasted beet salad- enough for two. Pretty noisy place though, wish they would add some acoustic panels.

I've have dined here many times, but this time the house special was not up to standards. The Snapper was to be pan fried, but it was not fresh and overlooked. Being my favorite fish it was disappointing. To compensate we were offered a free dessert, but it was also included in the bill. I think they need to be more careful with the quality of the food, specially when it is the dish of the day. Disappointing!!

Excellent food but noise level deafening. Cannot have conversation w dinner companions. Confusion on making reservation. First told we cannot reserve a booth. Upon arrival all but one booth empty but told remainder were reserved!

"Energetic" is not quite apt the descriptor for the noise level, which might better be called overwhelming. I had mentioned this to management on a previous visit several months ago. The acoustics of the dining room only amplify the noise and patrons vie with their neighbors in shouting over each other. Don't come here if you're planning on pleasant conversation over dinner. We made reservations for an 8pm seating and did not get our table until 8:25. It didn't help that we waited at the bar seated next to two loud drunks. Food was passable, but over-priced. Menu featured abundance of grits or potatoes, but you can substitute with healthier options. Our waiter was attentive and helpful.

Whenever we go, I appreciate AGAIN what a wonderful addition JCFC is to Mandarin dining. Food and service are consistently good. Manager on duty most often stops by table to check on things. I like that. Highly recommend.

Grabbed a bite to eat with a friend and the food and service were awesome! Steamed mussels were plentiful and they were served with fresh crusty French rolls to soak up the garlicky goodness... Shrimp and grits were delicious!
The only disappointment was the broiled scallops being removed from the menu. A go to for us on each visit and hope to see them back soon.

We had made reservations for 6:15 and arrived about 10 minutes early and were immediately seated. When we arrived we had indicated we'd like a booth if available (there was one being cleaned and we would have been happy to wait). The hostess indicated there was none available and seated us at a small table for two. For most of our meal that booth and the one immediately behind it sat vacant which was curious to us since we'd been happy to wait.
The food was wonderful as always and the atmosphere was noisy (as always). The service staff was very attentive and continually travelled the room scouting for empty drink glasses and plates that folks were finished with. One thing - we didn't know when we arrived that it was happy hour and weren't offered any happy hour specials. However when I ordered a second glass of wine (different from what I'd ordered initially) I was told by our server that it was no longer happy hour. I didn't know what that meant nor what discount I could have received during happy hour so it might be a good idea to mention specials available for happy hour to diners during that time.

We always enjoy eating at Julington Creek Fish Camp but last night was exceptional. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they made sure we had the perfect seat and our drinks and appetizers can out with an extra smile.

Great food, but we went on a Friday night and it was very busy and extremely noisy. Tables next to us had to shout at the waitress to be heard. We had to talk loud just to hear each other across the table. Some people will like that, some will not. Other than that, it was a nice location, and great food.

The food was excellent and service was fast and friendly, but the restaurant was way too noisy. I would not go there if you want to have a nice conversation with family or friends. It's a shame but I would not go back for any special occasion. I would go for the food as long as I was determined to put up with the noise.

We were there for our 26th anniversary. The food was unbelievable. I moved to Jacksonville with Lieber Foods in 1983 as their food salesman to white table cloth restaurants only. The river Club, Sawgrass Country Club. Ponte Vedra CC, Club Continental etc>. Your shrimp dinner was the best shrimp and french fries I have ever eaten!!! Our waiter, John Pulley was fantastic. We will ask for him to be our waiter the next time we are there. If he is not there we will eat there anyway. Thanks again for the great anniversary dinner!!!!

We made a reservation, arrived early and waited down stairs at the bar and had a cocktail until our table was ready, which was on-time. Nice atmosphere downstairs and the bartender was attentive. Our dinners were amazing-my husband had yellow-tail fish and I had shrimp and grits. We both would recommend our dinners. Both meals and appetizers ( calamarie and snapper bites) came out pretty quickly. My only complaint would be that I wasn't a fan of the calamarie (and I love calamarie!) or the snapper bites. My husband said that they were good, but I'd prefer them with a bit more flavor. I would certainly go back again, but next time, I'd like to sit outside and enjoy the view of the water. Overall, it was a great dinner date! And, our server was nice and quick!
