My family and I recently celebrated my sister’s birthday at Amber and it was truly a wonderful experience. Food was amazing. The whole degustation menu was excellent. Every dish was well thought off and flavour was truly exceptional. The staff was attentive and respectful, not like other fine dining restaurants in HK who will force you to pay for bottled water (which is very tacky). They gave my sister a lovely chocolate birthday cake which we all shared. Thank you to the whole Amber team for making our meal and her birthday a memorable one. More

Great meal in a classy yet relaxed restaurant. It is expensive but it felt special. The steaks were excellent and the beef wellington enormous! The staff were attentive both up in the bar and in the restaurant. More

Burgers | Lan Kwai Fong, Hong Kong Island

Enjoyed the double trouble burger very much. Burgers were amazing, juicy and meat was tender. The spicy sauce that went with it was so on point. It was a great place to catch up with friends. Service was generally ok, but definitely not for the reception staff. One disappointing thing was that a staff member was supposed to be stationed at the reception. But that staff actually went to take orders for another table forever, which made me stood and waited for 10mins before someone could get me my reserved table. I did ask two other staff members for help, but they kept asking me to wait for that lady who was supposed to be the reception or something, even when they had time to attend to me. Perhaps better work division/ management could be done? But generally staff were friendly and nice. More

Went there on last Thursday with ex school mates. Good food, excellent service, comfortable ambiance but a bit pricy. Normally go there on business purposes and last Thursday was for friends gathering but it find it worth to go back in all kinds of occasions. Didn’t try the wine because still need to work in the afternoon but I have noticed quite a hood and vast wine collections especially you can have a glass of Ruinart Champaign before the meal. More
