Very disappointed. Everything was too salty; one dish we sent back. The steaks were not grass fed, or did not taste grass fed. I had the American Kobe beef ($69) and it was tough. The steaks were cooked perfectly they were just not the quality I've had there in the past. I've only been there 3 times previously and not in over 5 years since moving west. All those times the food was amazing. This was bad. The quality was not at all what I expected and on par with Longhorns and Outback, and not what you go to a top end steak house for. Really sad.

The food was very, very good- not perfect [filet had more fat than it should have]. They compd us dessert with a happy anniv message, which was very considerate :-) The GM was very personable and chatted us up. Downside- they knew ahead of time it was our anniv and they gave us a table VERY close to the kitchen and server area- a bit too noisy and too much commotion for our taste.

The wedge salad had imitation bacon bits! The Cappuccio was fake (from a pod). They charged $13 for tater tots. The steak and frites is 80% frites and 20%. The steak didn't seem to be high quality. They charged $21 to valet. Not what it used to be.

Last minute Dinner with family on 10/15/2016. Restaurant was very loud and difficult to have a conversation. Service was very good but not exceptional. I had halibut which was undercooked and green sides were poorly prepared. My husband had salmon that was good. Others had steaks which were good. Place did not live up to its reputation. Certainly not worth the money. I would not go back.

The most awesome ribeye steak I had in my life, complemented with outstanding service and wine selection and great table seating despite our last minute reservation on a busy Saturday evening. The best restaurant in Boston, don't miss out!

Finishing off a 9 day "leaf peepers" vacation and having had lots of seafood meals prior, we decided on having meat for dinner on our last day in New England! Checked Trip Advisor and found this Grill!
Very energetic restaurant and obviously favored among locals and visitors as we dined on a Wednesday night and it was bustling. Food is outstanding and steaks done true to order and steaming hot. Only thing we would've have liked better is to offer marinara sauce for our calamari appetizer instead of the creamy like tartar(?) sauce. We shared the famous coconut cake and it is truly delicious. Your sommalier is great and knows his stuff...sorry forgot his name but he worked the upstairs!

Wonderful restaurant! Came here with a party of 4, seated right away and had a fantastic meal. We would highly recommend the seafood tower, everything was extremely fresh, also loved prime New York. The sides were huge and quite delicious as well. We all split the coconut cake for dessert and that was excellent too. I would defintely go back next time I am in Boston.

Our server was very professional and did all of the little details to create an elegant dining experience. I understand it was very busy but would of liked to see a little more attention to our table. Your Draft beer list was phenomenal and the timing with the food was perfect. All of the dishes came out hot and cooked perfect. I will be back.

Great experience. My daughter had the filet and I had the smaller twin filet. We shared the asparagus (amazing), the macaroni and cheese (excellent) and the tater tots (they were okay). The service was excellent and a lovely atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We had reservations for 5:00 PM but arrived to find out the dining room did not open until 5:30. But we did not fret, the Maitre 'd escorted us into the bar area where we had great seats by a window and proceeded to enjoy cocktails with our son. At 5:30 we were promptly taken to our seat for dinner alongside a fireplace which made the moment special.

Took an important customer here for dinner. They loved the food and the restaurant itself. We were there on a Thursday night. The restaurant was full and energetic. The service was perfect. Even the sommelier, Brad. He gave a great recommendation on a nice red wine that was exactly what I was looking for and in my price range. My comment on the food - the New England Clam Chowder was more like a seafood bisque. It has some lobster in it. It was good, but if you want and are expecting the traditional "white" kind, you might be disappointed.
The sides were delicious - crispy Brussels sprouts, truffle tater tots, creamed spinach, and mushrooms.
I highly recommend the coconut cake and the caramel profiteroles desserts.
My guests really enjoyed their beef (not sure which cuts they were).
Would recommend taking out-of-town guests here.

Arrived 15 minutes prior to reservation time, Asked Host if we had time for a drink before being seated and he responded that our table was waiting and he would seat us now, Restaurant was very busy and loud- allot of large parties.
Tuna appetizer was nothing special, Ordered a Ribeye medium rare was served medium well, contained more fat than expected for a prime steak and also appeared to have been Marinated prior to cooking.
Overall- a very disappointing meal- would not recommend this restaurant if you are a steak fan- Head to Abe and Louie's, Ocean Prime or Chops.

The restaurant was essentially packed when I got there and I had to ask the waitstaff to repeat themselves because it was so loud from everyone talking. My waiter left so soon after setting down my steak that I didn't have a chance to tell him that it was underdone. Way underdone. And the bourbon ice cream for dessert tasted very strong like alcohol. It was a little too strong for me.

Normally I rate this 5 but I think they were having an off night.... it happens. Service was very friendly but slow my salad was over drenched in dressing, my steak was under cook and my sons way over cooked.... they replaced our steak with great apologies and they comped my salad bought us desert....very nice and well handled by the manager.

A group of 5 for moms bday while visiting Boston for a couple of days. Sat us promptly but we waiting a while for our server, once he came over we put in our whole order. Place is so loud we can't talk to each other & although our server was really nice & trying to be attentive but wasn't. Seems they are extremely busy & might need additional wait staff. All in all everyone enjoyed their dinner.

Very expensive. Not as good as it usually is. Reserved table for 4 many many weeks in advance and got sat in the middle of the floor. When i asked to move, they said there was no room on the main floor.
It was a birthday occasion. It was very very very loud and difficult to enjoy the special occasion.
This is my favorite restaurant. I will go back and hope for my usual superb experience.
Service was impeccable.

Took a group of clients for an early dinner at 530pm on a Tuesday and the place was very quiet. We were seated promptly, service was quick to take our drink and app orders. Entree selections aren't huge unless you want steak, but covered the bases pretty well. Food came out very quick and was prepared perfectly, but most importantly tasted fantastic. I've eaten here about half dozen times and have never been disappointed.
