This was our 2nd visit this year to Glacier and it was very good except for one of the Halibut entrees which was way over cooked. The server immediately replaced the entree . The Calamari is not to be missed as well as the pretzel bread with the fondue cheese sauce.

When I reserved our seating, I mentioned it was my husband's birthday. We sat by another table also celebrating a birthday. His dessert came out with a candle. My husband's dessert did not.

I invited my girlfriend to the BrewHouse to taste the Alaska American food, she is from South Korea and it was her last date in Alaska. The environment was great and she love the beer selection. As for the food, we ordered the Rib-eye steak and the grilled salmon, the steak was burned and the salmon was over cooked. We had the waitress replaced the steak because the flavor was really bad but we kept the salmon; we did not want to give the impression that we came to the restaurant to cause trouble. The waitress was very polite and knowledgeable but the food didn't match what she had explained. Overall all we had a good time!

We regularly eat at the Brewhouse and our experience Friday night is causing us to question changing our top pick being Glacier Brewhouse. Our food was cold. My husband's ribeye was more fat than meat; our appetizer was half the portion that it usually was and a few more things.

We had a wonderful meal at the Glacier Brewhouse with utterly fantastic service.
Ale Fondue & Pretzels - the house-made pretzels were so good. Ale fondue on everything please.
Brewhouse Blue Salad - meh on this one. I've had it there before and it was better.
Alder Wood Grilled Ribeye - flavor of the steak was AMAZING. Can't beat that wood-fired grill.
Peanut Butter Pie - took this to go because we were stuffed. It was so rich, but so good. Would be great with a cup of coffee to finish off the night.
Old Fashioned - the best Old Fashioned that we've had in Anchorage so far!
Barrel Aged Double Rye Manhattan - they house age my favorite whiskey! Delicious.
Brewhouse Blonde - a beer that I come back to again and again. Light and tasty.
Specialty Beers - we sampled a flight of their specialty beers (Cask Conditioned IPA, Citrus Kolsch, Hungarian Oak Aged Oktoberfest, Blood Orange Double IPA, Red Ale). The stand out was the Blood Orange Double IPA, which we had more of. Coming in at a solid 9%, it was well balanced, smooth, and very drinkable. My next favorite was the Red. Love that they offer the 1/2 pints in addition to the full pints.
We were seated by the fireplace which got a little toasty, and as always with the Brewhouse, it was a touch noisy. Not so bad that we couldn't easily hear each other, but definitely full of chatter and ambient noise.
Our server was really great! We stayed a LONG time because we weren't in a rush and we never once felt hurried along. Overall, another great experience at the Glacier Brewhouse.

This was the 2nd time we had this waitress in about a month she is very nice but we had to ask for water and bread when we first got there . We had to remind her to bring our cheese cake and coffee after we had place our order . Then we finally had to go up front to pay for our meal after waiting for a long time for her . The food was great as always and we will be back but I think if we get the same waitress again I think we will ask for someone else. Bernie

This was a great place to eat! We made reservations, and they were running behind which was fine. We went to the bar and our bartender helped us pick a beer. When our table was ready, they apologized for the wait and offered a free appetizer! The food was outstanding. Our waitress was very informative and helpful. Overall a great dining experience! Will be returning.

We had reservations for 8:15 and were not seated until 8:40. We were compensated with a free appetizer. I ordered the ribeye and it was very burnt on the bottom side and tasted of charcoal. Our server was great and very attentive. I will not be going back for a while. I was happy with the service but not with my food.

Food was amazing and that made everything great. Had the calamari appetizer and the herb crusted halibut with mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection - the halibut was flavorful and went excellent with the potatoes. The raspberry wheat was good as well.
Service was decent and our server was appropriately attentive and professional. Only comment would be that people were taking small children and kids in strollers which ruined about five minutes of the dining experience while one was crying next to our table and the parents were ignoring it (it appeared to be under 4 years old). I would say that this isn't a place to bring young children.

The food was delicious, Mark, our server, was very attentive. He kept our water glasses full and checked on us throughout our mean, although he was not intrusive. The bread was delivered to the table in a timely manner. It was not a long wait for dinner.

We had the calamari appetizer and the halibut. I was skeptical of ordering the calamari because I have never liked calamari that I've had at other restaurants, but since my husband insisted on ordering it we did. The calamari was phenomenal the BEST calamari I have ever had. The halibut was delicious as well even better than Sockeye Salmon that is offered on the menu. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere especially for a dinner date.

It was overall a good experience. Our server seemed nervous; maybe he is new. But he was very attentive and took good care of us. His name was Jordan.
Our food came in a timely manner. The other ladies enjoyed their burgers. I ordered the rotisserie chicken with succotash. The chicken was stellar! I was not too impressed by the succotash though. It tasted fine, but I think the combo needs to be different. It was very heavy on the corn and didn't have much flavor. I did order from the GF menu as I am allergic to wheat, so maybe that's why it wasn't as impressive? Maybe there's usually a sauce or something? I do really appreciate having the GF options, however.
Thanks! I look forward to coming back in the future.

GB is a go-to restaurant when we have visitors and this dining experience was disappointing.
Above all the normal patronage noise we could hear one of the Chef's YELLING out each and every order. We tried to tune it out but was very difficult.
It was very busy for a Sunday evening and the food did take longer than normal.
4 orders- the pork chop special was very good, the GF burger was good but the side salad was small, the halibut on GF menu was excellent, and the shrimp salad on the GF menu was okay only because the shrimp was over cooked.
Our waiter was very engaging and checked up on us a few times before our food was out. He apologized for the wait. He made the evening much more palpable than had he not been our waiter.
We will probably not be visiting for a while or definitely ask for a table FAR away from the kitchen!!!

Great food! Perfect having a reservation to avoid the wait. Had King Crab Legs for an appetizer and they were cooked perfectly! Halibut entree melted in your mouth. Great craft brews as well. Just as all the reviews said...it was a top-notch place to dine!

Place is hard to get into as it is always so busy but it's worth it. Great food and service. Halibut was exquisite and servwr was very friendly and helpful. The best part however, was their beer! Great selection and all house brewed beers were outstanding. The blood orange IPA in particular!

It used to be awesome and you got plenty of food. This time I felt like they really didn't give us much in the way of sides. I felt left wanting for more brussel sprouts. I think in total there were only six sprouts on my plate. So horribly disappointing. For how much the menu costs, I do not feel like people should leave feeling this way. This has never happened before, I really felt let down on this visit.

We had a reservation but were 20 mins late getting seated. The staff was friendly enough, but we wouldn't have been seated when we were if we had not pointed out we were still waiting. I think they forgot about us.

When reservations were made I requested by the fireplace and when seated we were the farthest from the fireplace. My wife ordered steak and shrimp med well and it was rare, sent it back and by the time it came back she had finished her meal so she had to eat steak by itself with no apology. It was our daughter's birthday. We won't dine here any time soon.
