One of my favorite restaurants in Santa Fe. The food is always excellent - I love the rack of lamb and the elk tenderloin. Perfect martinis and extensive wine list. The service is impeccable. We had late reservations, but when I called, Mary was able to get us in earlier.

Certainly one of the best restaurant experiences we have ever had. Probably one of the best restaurants in the USA. From the great wine list to the comfortable ambience to the creative wonderful food. The sea bass over ramen noodles was as good as can be. And our server provided a first class experience for us.

Geronimo is the best restaurant in Santa Fe. The entry with the burning fireplace greets you. All the rooms are cozy but the food is delicious. Be hungry because the portions are large. Had the chicken and it was juicy and the sides were great. My husband had the salmon and thought it was the best preparation of salmon he ever had. The bartender knows how to mix his drinks and my old fashioned was lovely.

Amazing meal on our last evening visiting in Santa Fe. Each course was wonderful, the mushroom gnocchi as an appetizer and the salmon as my main were both outstanding. My husband had the elk tenderloin - it was perfection. Topped it all off with banana cream pie - yum. Our waitress & assistant servers were attentive but not overly so. There was music but not so loud that you couldn't have a conversation. Overall a fantastic experience.

I chose Geronimo for dinner the evening of my 70th birthday. Frankly, it was a mistake. Although my husband and I had eaten there a few times in past years and had had a reasonably good experience, we don't live in Santa Fe, so I didn't remember enough about the various seating options to request a certain table. I asked for a quiet table, preferably against a wall, in a corner, since it would be a special occasion. On arrival, we were shown to a corner table in a room next to the kitchen where there was audible noise. I asked if there was something else available and we were given a table in another room, not in a corner, but crammed in very close to other diners. The food was also not to our taste. The portions were huge--I was given a piece of meat that looked like a roast. The food was tasty, but there was no real creativity or finesse about it, and It was anything but elegant.. (The couple next to us made quite a show of ordering a $350 bottle of wine, which didn't make points with us either!)

Overall I had a good experience. The deserts and pear salad was wonderful. Excellent. However, the waitress recommended the pork chops. I think they were 42.00. Not an outrageous price. But they were dry and tough. Not what I expected for the price. I would not order it again. But the restaurant and service were great.

I've heard about this place for years and am thrilled to have finally dined there. Every aspect of this experience was outrageously good -- the food, the room, the service -- everything. We can't wait to go back.

This place is always great. The staff knows how to serve a meal and the
chef knows how to cook it. Geronimo has to be considered among the very best restaurants in Santa Fe. It is pricey, elegant and a fine dining experience.

The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. I highly recomend this restaurant. We love it so much that we booked it for two nights in a row during our visit to Santa Fe, New Mexico. The management and staff all made us feel like regulars, even though we are only able to visit on occasion.

Excellent choice for Thanksgiving. Staff was very attentive and knowledgeable; food was outstanding. Great location - pleasant walk from downtown Santa Fe with plenty of opportunity to visit galleries on the way.

From the moment we drove into the parking lot until we left we felt like royalty. We were greeted promptly by the friendly valet. We were seated immediately in a lush corner spot. Then given complimentary champagne. The setting was lovely and the way the rooms are divided allows for quiet conversation. The music was relaxing. The wait staff was superb. They did forget to bring my first wine pairing but then spent the rest of the evening making it up to us. The food was absolutely delicious. Every bite was heavenly. The wine pairings were excellent choices by the sommelier. Thank you Gerinimo for a wonderful evening. It was worth every penny. We also went to Sazon which is rated a little above Geronimo. Honestly there was no comparison. I make a really good mole so was a little disappointed in the moles. It could have been an off night at Sazon. I would highly recommend Geronimo.

We have been coming here for over 10 years now. One of the very best restaurants in Santa Fe, an area known for its many fine restaurants. We made a special request to be seated near one of the three fireplaces to celebrate my wife's birthday and it was granted as well as being greeted with complementary champagne. The meal was wonderful as usual and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting the best in Santa Fe.

I went with my husband and 14 year old son while we were visiting Santa Fe for a few days and I'm delighted that we did. The staff was incredibly professional and super friendly from the hostess to the waiters. The series of cozy, tastefully decorated rooms made the whole evening feel like a special occasion. The menu had a good selection of items but not so much that was overwhelming. Usually a menu seems to be more than any kitchen can put out well and Geronimo hit the right balance. All of our food, from the mushroom sherry soup amuse bouche, the appetizers (crab cakes and salads), the entrees (Elk and Shrimp with rice cakes) and the desserts (sorbet trio and creme brûlée) were excellently prepared. The wine list was a equally impressive. I would definitely go there again (maybe more than once in a trip) if we return to Santa fe.

When we called to ask if we could bring in our own wine, they said yes, but when we arrived they would not let us bring it in. At one point when the table next to us left one of the patrons farted very loudly and our sea bass needed salt.

My wife and I had an extraordinarily evening out for our anniversary. I can't say enough good things about our dining experience at Geronimo. The lamb was probably the best I have ever eaten. If we weren't in public I would have gnawed on the bones. My wife had the elk, it was exceptional. The staff willingly answered questions about the menu in order to avoid my wife's' severe allergy. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Santa Fe.

Dinner at Geronimo is an unforgettable experience, one that keeps you wanting to return to Santa Fe just to experience again. The menu is creative and exquisitely executed. The service is perfect - the staff clearly is proud to work there. By far the best restaurant in A city of many good restaurants.
