It was the little thing that Geronimo excels at that makes this restaurant a true dining experience.
From the coat service, to our server addressing us by our last name's and the valet turning on the heat & seat warmers in our car during a cold night.
The food was exceptional, the creative tastes & the beautiful, unique presentation. I will definitely be back!

We love fine dining when we travel and Geronimo was right up there with the best we have had any where in the world. Great service from the valet on up. The food was wonderful at every course. Great wine list also added to the experience. Great value for the quality and service. Look forward to coming back on our next trip to Santa Fe.

Everything was exceptional including the Valet. The service was second to none from the moment you arrived until the moment you left. Champagne was delivered to our table to toast my husband's birthday. Great food, attentive staff and cozy fireplaces made for an incredible evening! No wonder they have been in business 26 years. They've got it figured out.

Wonderful experience, as always. Our server was Aspen and he was very enthusiastic, courteous, and knowledgeable. I am by no means a person who eats game, but the Elk Tenderloin was something else. Their menu changes weekly and there is no doubt as to the reason the Elk is a mainstay.
Get the Banana Cream pie for dessert. You really cannot go wrong. Can't wait to come back again.

There are many places to spend $100++ per person in Santa Fe, but Geronimo is the standard by which all others are compared. The food is excellent, albeit very rich, and the portions are generous. Service is friendly, professional and attentive without being intrusive. The dining rooms are airy and elegant, with plenty of space and comfortable seating. Also, try the bar, which has a small kiva in the corner and modified menu.
The term "very rich" is all too often used to nicely describe dishes that rely on heavy cream, butter, marrow reductions, etc. This is my only negative critique of the menu and I encourage the chef to have the confidence to back off a bit (your regular customers will live longer).
In the meantime, I suggest ordering lightly and enjoying their fine wines and full service bar.

We had an exceptional meal! The mushroom tasting menu was incredible, with mushroom-related soup, salad, gnocchi and then an exceptional dessert (no mushrooms there--it was a limoncello crepe). The service was wonderful and the fire and decor were charming and cozy.

Truly one of the best places I have ever experienced. I do not consider myself to a "foodie," but I really enjoy local places that accentuate and highlight the local culture and cuisine. Geronimo's is THE place in Santa Fe. From the hospitality to the exceptional quality of the food to the personal attention of the staff, this place is top notch.
Two of us had the Elk -- do not be afraid or timid to have it for it is prepared exceptionally well. My other two companions had the New York Strip; again, prepared perfectly.
Just go here. You will not be disappointed.

Dining at Geronimo is always a pleasure. The friendly, attentive and professional service; the quiet, elegant setting; the food. Lobster tails with fresh pasta in a chile cream sauce is amazing, wild mushroom soup was just wonderful. Great wine list, too. Really, dollar for dollar, the best fine dining in Santa Fe.

Geronimo is a great place for a quiet, up-scale dinner. The food is outstanding. Taste, texture, presentation - Geronimo food is top drawer. The service is well above average, attentive but not intrusive. The wait staff can get a slightly overloaded, so a little patience may be required. The one exception to all the above average marks for this restaurant is the wine list. Everything on the wine list is good but priced at least 30% above restaurant market. I expect to see wines marked up 100% over cost but Geronimo is way, way, out of line. If I took my own bottle and they charged $100 corkage I would still save money. This is not a place for value, it is a place for quiet opulence (and overpriced wine).

Food was outstanding as was the service. Since we live in Santa Fe , we will continue to visit this restaurant . A four star experience. Prices are relatively high but the quality is exceptional. Service was friendly, and thoughtfull as were a few treats from the Kitchen.

The service was outstanding -- the best we have ever had in Santa Fe. Our waiter was Dienke, and what a lovely, intelligent and charming young woman she is. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Cauliflower bisque with duck confit was heavenly and served in a beautiful bowl. My partner had crab cakes -- he thought they were the best he's had out West. We shared an endive salad with the lightest most delicious dressing. Rack of lamb with cakes was scrumptious. And, the mesquite grilled lobster tails over angel hair pasta was sublime. They had glasses of celebratory champagne for my birthday when we arrived. And, I also loved the late harvest Reisling that was complementary with my lemon crepe dessert -- I go for lemon desserts whenever I can and it did not disappoint at all. Definitely one of the very best meals we have had in my 8 years living in Santa Fe.

One of the finest restaurants in Santa Fe. Located on historic and charming Canyon Drive, you are in for a very fine dining experience with excellent service. From the champagne that greeted us for our special occasion to the mushroom bisque to the fantastic appetizers and entries to dessert! What an outstanding dining experience! If you want to go all out to impress your loved one... This is a must!!!

From the moment one walks into this cozy, eclectic restaurant, one immediacy feels they are in for a treat. Class! Three levels of support staff in the dining rooms alone. The bar, second to none. You would expect Bogie and Bacall to come strolling in and order a shot of single malt or maybe a well shaken martini. And speaking of martinis, the lemon drop martini was delightfully prepared with just the right amount of sour and sweet. Oh my. The lavish and chili pepper bread were delicious. The salad with pear, candied cashews and cider vinaigrette was equally wonderful. The crab cakes were good and the lobster tails (with cream garlic sauce and pasta) were slightly under cooked but that seems to be the fashion these days. Notwithstanding, the lobster was excellent quality and quite nice. The German chocolate dessert with the chocolate ring and homemade ice cream was worth the sizable amount we spent --which was a lot because our dinner included a fine bottle of wine. One of our top ten restaurants in the country.

Dinner was delicious... I had the cauliflower bisque with duck confit and black truffle for a starter, and sea bass with bok choi, shiitake, ramen, wasabi for main. The bisque was rich and delicious, presented dramatically at the table. The sea bass was absolutely the best dish of the night. Perfectly cooked, translucent, buttery. Just the right hint of wasabi. Dessert was the trio of creme brûlée, vanilla and espresso the best, raspberry was a bit too sweet for me. Our server was attentive and could read our mood and responded accordingly. Great evening!

This was the best dining experience that I have had in the US and among the best that I have had world over. Each dish was superb, the preparation perfect, and the presentation unique. The serving staff was attentive and very well trained, but friendly and not stiff.
I have dined in most of the other top restaurants in Santa Fe and none come close. Yes it is expensive, but it is worth it, if only for special occasions.

We had 7 people for New Years Eve and everything was just perfect! We were a little early for the reservation and got a bit of time at the bar for a drink. The service was top notch all the way through the dinner. The food was outstanding the chef kept the options clean and straight forward while also offering plenty of inventive takes on top quality proteins. I sometimes find it hard to be impressed with what a chef will do with a protein that is already amazing --- in this case the chef let the best qualities shine through but also did enough transformation to highlight the food and offer new flavor combinations or textures. Just a really great meal!

Overall nice experience, albeit not sure if it should be rated so highly. Service was attentive, ambiance nice and food very good but not excellent. Salads were good but slightly overdressed. Pasta with lobster was tasty but noodle was nowhere near al dente. Dessert (sort of chocolate torte with vanilla ice cream) was good, not great. Amount of ice cream served was not proportional to the amount of chocolate torte. Overall, however, it was a pleasant experience but would probably try another restaurant next time in that price range.

Just astonishing. The food was one of the three best meals I've ever had. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere cozy and comfortable. Geronimo's reputation as one of the best restaurants in America is well-deserved.
