My son, the pilot, flew in to Boston on a Saturday night and met his Mom and Dad for a good meal. I made a reservation at Tresca's although I had not been there before. I was so glad I did. The restaurant was great. Loved the ambiance, food, and service. The chocolate lava cake was absolutely delicious, not heavy. It was very noisy for awhile but that is to be expected on a Saturday night. It was a memorable dinner and hope to go back soon! MoreOpenTable Diner -
Very good meal, well served by pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable staff. We had the night's special after an excellent starter. Size of the meal, was not excessive but certainly enough for us. Went on th recommendation of a friend and well worth the visit. MoreOpenTable Diner -

The Table is simply the best value for dollar restaurant in the Boston area. $69 for a 4 course tasting menu with imaginative food, great presentation, outstanding wine pairings, knowledgable and friendly staff--what more is there to have? I moved from Boston, yet every time I come back to the area, I dine at the Table. MoreOpenTable Diner -
This is a terrific restaurant. The food is always tasty and very interesting. I would take a small bite and savor it, trying to figure out how they mixed these seemingly incompatible flavors to make something so delicious. Each time we've been there the service was impeccable: attentive and friendly, but unobtrusive; very knowledgeable. It feels like the whole staff -- cooks, servers, buss people -- are all part of a family and they welcome you in. I believe the people who do the cooking are also the chefs and the cooking area is right in the dining area, so the cook/chef is part of your experience. (If you go there in mid September 2017, make sure to try the bread pudding -- it was possibly the best food I've ever tasted.) MoreOpenTable Diner -
