Frackeltons Ratings and Reviews
So good the first night we went back again. Both nights the food and service were very good and the portion size more than adequate for the price. I had the calamari on the second night which I did comment was a little on the chewy side and a bit spicy for my palate but that was choice. The Lamb Bolognaise was excellent and a welcome variant on the usual beef.
I would recommend Frackelton's overall as the food was very good but if you go request not to have one of the high top tables in the middle of the dinning room. They were uncomfortable and it was very noisy as though being stuck in the middle of everyone's conversations. The pastas are great!
We were traveling through town and this restaurant is the only one in Sheridan using Open Table. We wanted to use our OT gift card but the general manager was not familiar with this option. Not available here. The caprese salad was the best I've had in a while. There was a pepper sauce under the tomatos and cheese and they use pesto rather than basil leaves. My chipotle pasta was good as well. They open for dinner at 4:00 pm but when we asked for bread at 4:50 it was still in the oven. Service was friendly but not real attentive. We would stop there again. Frackeltons is a nice place for a small town.
Again a great meal - brunch today. The omelet had spinach& feta cheese, all favorites of my Mom. My husband's pork tenerloin benedict was unique& good. The pork was very tasty and tender. My buttermilk pancakes were some of the lighest/fluffiest I have ever had. The sides of crispy bacon are always excellent. Add a couple of mimosas and Sunday Brunch is complete.
We were pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant of this caliber in the small city of Sheridan WY. The scene is vibrant, but the restaurant has wisely installed sound dampening panels in the ceiling, and they work. The restaurant was quite busy, and also had a private party of ~59. In spite of this load, the service was excellent, and the kitchen was quick. The food (prawns with pasta; ribeye) was excellent. Best Manhattan cocktail I have had in many moons. Highly recommended when you are in Sheridan.
We live in the UK and have been touring Rockies and high plains for 5 weeks eating out every night. This was the best food we have had. Well presented. Sensible portion size, innovative very well cooked food. Very good wine list and we were well looked after in a casual but efficient way. Highly recommended
Food was good, although not as warm as it should have been kitchen was extremely Slow. Waited for over an hour after order was put in to be served. Wait staff was Great even having to deal with a slow kitchen. We were not the only guests that had to wait. Kitchen really needs to step up their work.
The service in here is almost always so terrible. The managers do not care at all, in fact, the manager is the one who "served" us since our waitress was indifferent to acknowledging us at all. I just don't get it, it's decent food but for the price, I'd like to be treated with more respect when I'm paying as much as I do for meals there. Won't be returning, get over yourselves.
Service great, food was served quicker than most visits to your restaurant. Atmosphere noisy. Salmon pasta tasted good at the time, but disagreed with me later. I ordered it because it didn't have a high calorie white sauce, with cream. After
eating it, it made my stomach hurt and stayed in a lump. It had to be a high butter (fat)
content. Too bad. It was tasty, but needs some fat substitute to be a healthier meal. Not much on menu for a vegetarian who eats fish. Definitely won't eat this meal again.
This particular meal at Frackletons was to benefit the county library. We eat at Frackletons a couple of times per month. The food and service are always great and they are located downtown across the street from the WYO Theater which makes for a convenient date night. We almost always start a meal with the spinach salad and then go with favorites or specials. Brunch, lunch and dinner have all proven to be winners.
This is NOT fine dining. Unless the definition of "fine dining" has changed to incorporate pierced and tattooed covered servers serving mediocre fair on diner china with mismatched flatware. Owned by a local radio station that provides nearly constant over-hyped yammering this place is unable to fulfill the least of its promises.
The place was very nice and clean and fun ,the food was cold but cooked perfect which is sad because its a great place and we know it was new year eve and busy so I think the food got overlook the waitress and cook where very good about making it right and like I said the food was cooked perfect and yes I will eat there again
