Join us at Fogo de Chão Austin to celebrate the Southern Brazilian ranching heritage. We welcome guests on our elegant front porch complete with open flame rotisserie. The restaurant is conveniently located across from the Austin Convention Center and just blocks from the Capitol Building. Fogo de Chão is an authentic Brazilian Steakhouse (Churrascaria) that has been setting the standard in Brazil for the past 36 years. The salad/soup bars are very good. But for $25 just for salad/soup is a bit expense.
The meats were just OK. The servers typically slice off a thin piece then dash off. Many times I had an empty plate with the green card showing.
I was expecting better-tasting meats for $50 per person. I will not be going back.

One of my regular stops while in Austin on business. This time was a bust, poor service and poor quality food. Card was turned over green the entire time and still had to call the server over several times as they would pass me right by and then go back to kitchen without stopping. Prime rib that I made a special request for and waited 15 mins even after asking all the way up to manager was grissel. Does not make me want to come back.

Fogo's is one of my favorite restaurants. I love the food and the variety of the selection of meats and chicken. The salad bar is also fabulous. Great variety, great tastes, great service. The staff works together to take care of every detail. If you want something they have, they will get it for you cooked just the way you like it. The side dishes they serve tableside are also delicious. My favorite is the grilled banana.

Not only was the food fantastic but the hospitality far exceeded any experience we've ever had. We will definitely return and have already referred friends and family for their special occasions. Can't wait to return.

I took my boyfriend to fogo for his birthday and we both had a great time. It was a first for both of us and the food exceeded expectations. The service was great my boyfriend thought our server Armando was pretty cool and knew right from the start that he was getting a good tip. Before the end of the night we both knew we would be returning to fogo.

For the price you're paying, you would expect excellent service. However, service is at par with moderately priced restaurant. Food is okay. Went to Austin location to be with my daughters to celebrate birthday. Unfortunately, no Chama Gaucha in Austin. Fogo is okay but not sterling like Chama Gaucha.

My friends and I had a fantastic experience dining at Fogo de Chão last night. Our server, Eddie, was attentive and detailed without being overbearing. Leo, the manager was so friendly and customized our desserts with beautiful script writing with each of our home languages. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Fogo was great as always. The variety of the salad bar and the quality of the meats are always outstanding. The overall price of the restaurant is above average just as the provided service, that is the reason I am happy to return time time by time for a good meal.

At $50 a plate I expected more. The service was great, however the food left a whole lot to be desired. First, the $15 grilled shrimp appetizer was bland and dry. The salad bar was an abundant redundancy of assorted lettuce, tomato and mozzarella. Just serve me a great salad at the table please. The rotation of meat being served was somewhat overwhelming. There was a lot of meat being thrown in your face if you happen to turn your little coaster over to the green (means GO) side. After a while we just guessed what we were eating. The chicken and pork was dry and also bland, while the beef and lamb selection was okay, given we didn't know what we were eating. Save your money for an authentic Brazilian Steakhouse experience.

No matter which city I visit/live, Fogo is a must. Cannot go wrong with the food and atmosphere. Love this restaurant.
Not only my birthday, but also wanted to celebrate a good friend's new management job and since she's never been to a really nice restaurant, Fogo was at the top of the list for both.

Fogo de Chao was a great choice for folks visiting Austin because of its unique dining set-up and friendly staff. Having the option to nibble on the salad bar items while in-between meat servings created a great balance of hearty and light. The filet mignon was delicious, as was the sirloin. There were few options for folks who didn't eat red meat - another chicken entree would have been nice. We also found ourselves wanting different red/green coasters for different types of meat - with the green side up, we had to wave off all of the beef and pork servers before the chicken made it to our table, which made it hard to keep a consistent conversation. Overall, I'd say Fogo de Chao is a great spot for a memorable dinner with friends or family from out of town.

First time experience this restaurant and I was extremely happy with the customer service. The food was delicious, my oldest daughter and I went for my birthday. I enjoyed the complimentary birthday dessert with the Happy Birthday message. We will definitely be back.

A wonderful dining experience (at the forceful recommendation of our daughter who has used the "chain" in several locations).
We took a taxi to the restaurant and felt very welcome from the moment we walked in.
A great starter table selection followed by incredibly tasty and varied meat selections. Our waiter was attentive and very happy to chat (or leave us alone). He was interested in us and our reasons for selecting Fogo de Chao during our visit to Austin.

We loved the experience for our family as we celebrated my parents 35th anniversary. They were blown away by the food, service, and dessert plate that was delivered to our table with a Happy Anniversary note on the plate. Thank you for helping us celebrate my parents anniversary!

I took my wife for our anniversary. She was very impressed, we had great time and will definitely be back again. The manager, Leo was amazing and went way to make sure the experience was as awesome as the 4 years have spent with my wife.

This was my second visit and I wanted to treat my boyfriend to a nice lunch. He absolutely loved it! He asked why I didn't take him sooner.
The variety of meat brought to our table is a meat-lovers dream. But if meat isn't your thing, they have a great selection of salads and other vegetarian options at the Market Table, which you can visit as many times as you like during your meal. Everything was delicious. They also have seafood dishes which I had during my first visit and they are made with the same quality as the meat.
The service was excellent. If we couldn't find our original server, another would promptly step in and ask if we needed anything. One server even noticed us keeping watch for certain cut of meat to be brought out. She asked what we were looking for and she had them bring it out just two minutes later.
I cannot say anything about their drinks unfortunately because I don't drink.

Good restaurant, good food, but it's not a good experience if you get seated in the back room, especially at the table right at the door. You get all the waiters hovering and waiting right behind your seat, and you routinely get blocked in by the bar cart. It's hard to enjoy your dinner when it's constantly interrupted by the ills of poor table placement.

This was our first time at Fogo de Chao, and my husband's first time at a Brazilian Steakhouse. The service was great - there was a whole team of people keeping our plates and glasses full. The polenta fries were awesome, and of course the meat was amazing. We also enjoyed the salad bar, and we got a free dessert because we were celebrating our anniversary.

The quality of the food and service were so good. The appetizer they offered were exquisites. Also the salad bar had a wide variety of delight Cheeses likewise vegetables. Many kind of meet were offered too.
I am more than willing to go again and recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.
The environment was perfect for the occasion and the music perfectly accord to the Brazilian restaurant.
