We had the NY strip and filet mignon and Pete was amazing! Exceptional service and amazing food.
Great service. Food didn’t have the “wow” factor. Rib eye was just ok, a bit tough; too tough for a $54 steak. Creamer spinach was bland. Fries and dessert were great.
My wife had the filet and Lobster Tail and I had a ribeye.
Food and service were great, as always. Reception by hostesses a little cold (have dined there many, many times but you are greeted as a complete unknown). Did not receive any special treatment, in spite of having given notice it was our wedding anniversary. Did not like the new shorter wine list, with very few options for someone who would not like to spend $60/$70 on a bottle of wine.
Love this place for food. Love the staff.
We had a horrible experience with the lights. Some halogen was on the fritz and went from blinding to burnt out back and forth through the meal. I felt like I was in a disco club with a strobe light. Killed the otherwise lovely ambiance. Staff was truly lovely. But that lighting was beyond unacceptable for a restaurant of this quality. -
We have traveled the world and been to the finest steakhouses and nothing compares to the rare Wet New York strip steak charred outside medium rare inside along with the finest Idaho baked potato Kyle is the finest waiter if your lucky to get him Your Welcome !
We were a group of 10 for a after conference dinner. Great food and service.
We enjoy Flemming's primarily for the food. The service is reliable and courteous, with the occasional hiccup when busy. Our membership in the rewards system recently became extinct. We re-joined and will frequent Flemming's San Diego.
Disappointed with waiter...busboy very attentive to our needs....and thank you for the chocolate for the birthday celebration. Very nice surprise. Food excellent as always!
We were excited to return to Fleming’s (it’s our celebration dinner spot) but were incredibly disappointed by the quality of food. Our server was excellent but everything else was somewhat disappointing. My favorite thing was the burrata and even that seemed like a step down from the last time we were here. The steak was okay but too buttery, the lobster overcooked, shrimp was incredibly over cooked and the oysters were not great. I expected a lot higher quality of food when paying these prices. Our waiter was excellent but sadly we would not return.
Fish was raw and the steak was not good
Wonderful dinner with perfect service. We had 6 pm reservations by 7:30 it was a little noisy. We still had a wonderful experience
My wife and I had Flemings of a filet and a lobster tail and it was great as always.
We love Flemings!!
Had to pay $12 for valet parking...bill was over $500, really? Celebrated my wife’s birthday and all she got was a card. Extremely disappointing
Service and food was as expected from Fleming’s.
Our steaks came out on plates splattered in grease. The steaks seemed more or less fried on a grill top with no flavor to them. The Fleming’s potatoes come out in a brick. When the waiter brought them to the table I had to ask what it was. It was terrible! Took one bite and left the rest. Will not be returning to this establishment.
We have eaten at Fleming's several times. We were very disappointed in the menu changes. What happened to the famous Fleming's shoestring potato stack and most of all the Rack of Lamb?
Sometimes new management can't realize what made the restaurant great to begin with in the first place. We will wait until the menu returns before we return.

Fleming’s is always great. What can I say?
I just think that all the fine steakhouses around the country are about 20% more pricey than they should be. But Hey, we keep going back.
Matre'de was outstanding and very solicitous. Got free champaign for our anniversary. Waiter was big on personality, just OK on service. Touted warm bread and forgot to bring it....we asked for it mid-way thru dinner. Had a Manhattan, which was excellent, but wasn't asked if we wanted wine with the entree. Probably would have said yes. Filets were very good. Coffee was outstanding! Seated across from kitchen, the noise level was a bit high. Next time we'll ask for a more quiet spot. Good experience, but packed on a Wednesday night at 8 PM. You better go early.
Great food and service. Can be a little noisy since smaller size dining area but the filet was out of this world.
We reserved a table for four and it was waiting for us. Our waiter was efficient, knowledgeable and non-intrusive yet very friendly and informative. Our meals arrived in a timely way. The steaks were excellent cuts of meat and prepared to order. The scallops were plump, perfectly cooked and prepared with a salsa type relish that was spicy without being hot. Good wines and excellent cocktails. We had a great time.
The steaks were excellent. We had a dry aged New York strip, a prime New York strip and a main filet. All were cooked perfectly. The lava cake was excellent. I don’t love the salad choices, but the house salad (minus the cranberries) was good enough. Wine and cocktails were delicious.
The ($50) steak was tough, and the calamari and salad were mediocre at best.
Our waiter Massimo was outstanding. Caring, attentive and observant. The food was amazing and the experience was special. Thank you.
Had a great time with friends, we were celebrating CNY and a birthday.
It’s always a great experience! Love the food, the staff, the atmosphere, the service, and JASON! Jason is the absolute bestest EVER!
Was great, waiters were attentive
Valentines Day dinner was superb. Chilean sea bass, salmon, wedge salad.... all were terrific as was service and ambience.
Great waiter named David. Good food. Caring staff. Overall, a beautiful experience
I had my birthday dinner at Fleming’s, and the dinner was absolutely perfect. The waiter has very attentive and had a great personality (Patrick). The food was perfectly cooked and hot. The lighting was low which made the ambiance very soothing and relaxing. I enjoyed every second. You will not be disappointed.
Fine dining, great for special occasions. My waiter provided great service.
I have visited many Fleming locations, by far this was the worst one I have ever been to . From the service to the quailty of food, none of it was acceptable.
I continue to support the Tampa location but will never return to the one in SAN Diego Lamp district.
We always love coming to Flemings and as always they did not disappoint. Food was great, wine was great and the service was fantastic!!! Love Flemings!!!
Had a another great dinner at Fleming’s. The food was perfect. The ambiance was just right and the service was top notch! I always have the same thing...Colossal shrimp, Fleming’s salad, petit filet with Brussels sprouts. It always comes out just as ordered. I am a loyal customer of Fleming’s!
Great steakhouse, enjoyed a great meal with a group of friends ! Excellent service!
Patrick and Massimo were amazing!!!
My wife and I both had their Prime Rib.
It was really great as always.
I'm a fan of Fleming's Steakhouses, so it was a disappointment when our party of 4 had such a mediocre experience at their San Diego location. I had reservations months in advance, yet we had to wait for 45 min for our table (which I had to negotiate to a reasonably-sized table for 4 relatively large men). While waiting there was no room at the bar and the staging area is small, so we had to wait outside. The restaurant was clearly having a 'meltdown', whether due to inadequate staffing, over-booking or something else. After ordering, the waitress came back and announced that they had run out of NY Strip Steaks! I asked her if McDonald's ever runs our of hamburgers. She suggested we consider their Prime Aged Sirloin instead. Some people don't like aged beef and its about $10 more on their menu. But she did not offer to 'comp' the difference which surprised me. So we settled on the aged strips. My NY strip steak was ok but should have been outstanding. It was cut at the veiny end of the loin, meaning that there was extra fat and grizzle, a cut that is usually avoided. I know every restaurant has their 'off nights', but this was unusually disappointing for what is normally a reliable and enjoyable steakhouse.
Food was excellent. But 45 min wait from reservation time till seated. Seated in very noisy bar area with people standing next to our table. Asked for better location, but did not want to wait another 15 min.
