Fleming's Steakhouse - Orlando Ratings and Reviews
I requested the lobster Mac and cheese and was given the chipotle Mac and cheese. I told the waiting that was not what we requested but he never offer to change it or remove it. The carrot cake was not warm as it is usually served. They forgot the bread.
I love coming to this restaurant I usually do the miami one this was the second time I come to the Orlando But this experience was lacking.
Parking was difficult for large vehicles, although they had valet... just very crowded. Food was good but ridiculously slow. Over an hour after we’re were seated just to get our appetizer, and when we arrived it was far from full. Our server just kept saying, “the food will be right out”, but even the servers seemed embarrassed by the length of time the food took- disappointing.
I LOVE Fleming's. But this time I had the fixe menu for Valentine's day. The appetizer was great and then the salad came. Poor presentation and some of the lettuce was even brown. The main course was steak with a king crab leg that was fishy . Dessert was two madelines dipped halfway in chocolate. They were thick and mushy. The chantilly creme was delicious as always. I was very disappointed. This was definitely not up to their standards. Of course the steak was awesome. The manager had come over when I got my appetizer and that was good as was everyone else's dinner. By the time we had finished my dinner the restaurant was full and I really didn't feel like pulling the manager over to complain. I was also disappointed that our waiter didn't ask anyone at the table if they would like to order their lava cake which takes awhile. Of course I will go back, but not try any fixe menu.
Made a reservation at this really nice place. Fleming's was not on my radar but it is from now on. Since I was reserving for 13 people and usually it's kinda loud in the main dining area, I called the restaurant a day before to see if any private rooms were available. Behold a private room is available. I coordinated with Eileen ( group mgr) and Matt at the front and we worked it out for a small admin fee only. We did meet our $1,000 food minimum...easily. They assigned us Billy and Ember to assist us with the food. They were spot on the 2 of them. I only forgot there was a 3rd girl who looked 16. I heard she was much older but was also assisting. We ordered and I do recommend the dry aged steaks. Yes they are a little more in price but worth the flavor. I normally eat about 1/3 of my steak, this time 80%!
Well we did start off with a few shared appetizers. Crab cakes, shrimp, burrata ( had 2 helpings), and there was nothing left of the appetizers. A couple of people got the Chilean sea bass, which was really Good, and a few different cuts of steak. Everyone was satisfied and pleased with their meal. I also got an additional 1/2 lobster tail with my steak. We ordered a few sides, but it was so much food. I had no more room. What little room I had was for dessert. The chocolate leave cake was just ok but the carrot cake was really good. Yes, I would recommend this place for the food and service!
Always love Flemings. The occasion was an email notice of prime filet and cold water lobster dinner including salad and dessert for $50. The salad was large and delicious. The bread was hot and delicious. Bread is served with two compound butters: One is Cheddar and merlot, the other is brie and champagne. I'm a fool for brie, so I usually eat that. The steak was cooked to our specifications and guess what? Yes, it was delicious. The lobster was so sweet! We also ordered Flemings potatoes to share. Totally decadent. We ended up bringing our desserts home.
AMAZING! Not only the food but the service! Will come back for sure! Curtis was very attentive the whole time. Great place. We went for my brother’s birthday and the table was decorated and a handwritten letter of greetings and at the end the chef send truffles in a nice box! We loved the place!!
The service was excellent , the staff made us feel special. The food was fantastic and the choices on the menu were perfect. The drinks were generous pours. I loved the entire dining experience at Fleming's.
Even the attire of the hostesses were perfect, everyone was dressed in a well covered classy attire . Enjoyed the evening 100%.
This is lovely steakhouse, wonderful service. The food and wine were great - don't get me wrong, but compared to other steakhouses we recently visited, the steak just lacked flavor or something. I don't know. We'd return and may try a different cut . Excellent service. Lots of fun
The steaks that my sons had were tough and had little flavor. It took FOREVER to get the entire meal served and done -- and they were not busy. Overall comment from everyone that attended was that it was ok, but they would have rather gone to Ruth Chris or DelFriscos.
I had an important dinner to entertain clients during a very busy convention week in Orlando. I called and spoke to the manager earlier in the day to ask for some help with some timing sensitivity issues that I had with my reservation. He was able to help me and my party of 12 was seated immediately upon arrival. At the end of the evening the same manager that I had spoke to earlier in the day was getting ready to leave at the same time that I asked for the host to call me a cab. He offered to drive me back to my hotel instead of calling the cab. It was certainly a very generous offer and above and beyond the call of duty. Great experience overall!
Very disappointed. We ordered their signature potato au gratin dish, the potatoes were not cooked all the way. One of the steaks we ordered was supposed to be medium, it was well done. The dish our bread was served on had a half a piece of chocolate cake stuck to it, making our table cloth dirty and sticky ( no offer to change cloth) not to mention made us question overall cleanliness, it was a big piece of cake, should not have been hard to miss!
The onion soup was fair but nothing special for the price. I ordered an 8oz filet and my husband, who was celebrating his 67th birthday ordered the 12oz filet. We confirmed this with the waiter. Two 8oz filets were delivered by another server. They initially took my husband's dinner back. About 10 minutes later they redelivered it and said they were preparing a 2nd 8oz filet for him which wasn't delivered for another 10 minutes. At that point he didnt feel like eating it. The "bearnaise" sauce was very sad and had no detectable tarragon, which is the signature spice for bearnaise. We ordered the carrot cake for dessert and it wasn't even as good as Publix's. No drinks, just club soda, no salads, one shared vegetable, one shared dessert for $160. What a terrible disappointment. This was to be a "once in a lifetime" very special occasion for a fixed income couple that wad nothing less than a disaster.
Excellent food. Really really good! The reception is of a very low level though. If you make a reservation 5 weeks in advance and confirm it on the day of your dinner, you may normally expect to be seated fast, not 30 min after the confirmed time. And usually you expect the restaurant manager to be polite, not like the guy they have at this location. Other than that, once again, the food is great.
