Fleming's Steakhouse - Naples Ratings and Reviews
I wanted to take my husband out for a good steak for his birthday. I booked through OT and sent a note about the birthday, and asked if I could pre-order everything. They didn't get back to me on that, but they did set up the table with confetti and a birthday card signed by the whole staff. At the end he got a box of decadent truffles to take home. The steaks were perfect, the veggies delicious (truffle mashed potatoes FTW) and the carrot cake was rich and HUGE. Service was awesome. We will be back.
Great experience! The hostess promptly greeted us when we entered the restaurant and led us to a nice table. We took a few minutes to review the menu and a short time later our server, Teresa, approached the table. She introduced herself and took our drink order. By the time she returned with our cocktails, we were ready to order. Two members of our party ordered the prime rib dinner. They were not disappointed
This Classic Steak House that has more to it than just GREAT Food! From the complementary valet parking to the over the top friendly attentive service we where delightfully overwhelmed!
We had a table for two in a special wine room with a long stem red rose adorned across the table in romantic candle light. Yes this was our Anniversary but WOW....Our food choice was the wedge salad, cold water lobster tails, bone in filet mignon and assorted sides. Topped of with a bottle of Italian Prosecco. Excellent! Our waitress Kay, surprised us with complimentary glasses of champagne from the operating partner Al, a table photograph with our chocolate lava cake with a candle and a box of candy from the Chef!
Perfect Night of Dining to celebrate 42 years!
Ok place with very systematic "chain restaurant" feel, which is not bad since all is predicable. My problem was with the wine selection and price, especially by the glass. Asked the waiter for a medium priced pinot. She suggested La Crema. When we received the bill the charge was $24.75 for 9 oz. glass. This is a wine that can be purchased for about $16.00 per bottle in a decent wine store. If you do the math, that translates into about a $72.00 total sale price on a per glass basis...In my opinion, a little steep.
Flemings is my favorite steakhouse in Naples & I've been to many of the top steak houses here. Service is excellent & the steaks are high quality as well as a great wine selection. Can't miss for clients or a night out with a date or friends.
It was a very disappointing evening. I had been there 2-3 times last year and enjoyed the experience but this last time was awful. Someone important was sitting adjacent to us and they were spoiled them in every way possible and we must have been a ghost. Service sucked. The food took forever. Mine was terrible. I had the tempura lobster, it was cold and mostly breading.
It was one of the very few times I left a 10% tip, our waitress was equally at fault. I am the one that convinced my friends to go and it was embarrassing.
Sorry for the bad review but you asked. ...Stan Reed
We dined at Fleming's for a special evening. Overall we had a very good experience. All of the food was flavorful, but the food presentation was definitely lacking, considering the costs. The portions were adequate, but not what I would consider a good value. The service was great.
We likely won't go back, and would recommend it only for diners who have an unlimited dining budget.
Went for our Anniversary. Both had filets, here's petite (6 oz), mine main (12 oz). Both cooked perfect medium rare. Sides excellent (truffle mashed potatoes and asparagus). Ordered off Southern Hemisphere special menu, so meal had southern spice influences. Shrimp appetizer (4 big shrimp) had spicy sauce, very good, and entree had Mole and chipotle sauces and 2 types salt accompanying, made for a very interesting experience. Dessert a bread pudding with white chocolate and raspberry was excellent. Service excellent with very attentive management. Overall, a great experience and will return soon. Recommend hihhly.
We have visited Flemings many times - we are Naples residents.
Comparable to Capital Grill and Shula's, which are both excellent, we would give the edge to Flemings.
Best carrot cake in town.
Very consistent in services and food excellence!
This place did not disappoint. The steaks were perfect along with the service and atmosphere. We tried The Capital Grill (across the street) the week before and they can't compare to the food we were served here. Dollar for dollar your money is better spent at Fleming's. It is now one of our new favorite places to dine in SW Florida.
Great food and service. If you end up in the middle of the restaurant, with the open kitchen and very high ceilings Flemings is unacceptably noisy. But the tables around the perimeter or in the bar are good. The food and service is hard to beat.
We dined at Fleming's for Easter. Our waiter, Jonathan, was exceptional! He was very personable and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious! The only negative would be the noise level. It was extremely high. My mom had been before and said the same thing. Over all, it was a great experience. We will return.
My son was in from college for Easter and we had lunch there. We both ordered the prime rib which is only available on Sundays. The wedge salad was excellent, the prime rib had this huge piece of fat in the center about 2 X 4 inches that was unpleasant to look at. Was not the typical, marbleizing that it should have. I cut it out right away and placed it on my bread plate. I ordered the crème brulee for dessert. It was watery, and had not set up. I looked around for my server and then I got the attention from the Manager and he came to me and addressed it right away. Didn't offer me another dessert, just a replacement. Went back to the kitchen and brought me another one which was OK, still wasn't set all the way either. We both left really full and content.
