Fleming's Steakhouse - Naples Ratings and Reviews
Ok place with very systematic "chain restaurant" feel, which is not bad since all is predicable. My problem was with the wine selection and price, especially by the glass. Asked the waiter for a medium priced pinot. She suggested La Crema. When we received the bill the charge was $24.75 for 9 oz. glass. This is a wine that can be purchased for about $16.00 per bottle in a decent wine store. If you do the math, that translates into about a $72.00 total sale price on a per glass basis...In my opinion, a little steep.
It was a very disappointing evening. I had been there 2-3 times last year and enjoyed the experience but this last time was awful. Someone important was sitting adjacent to us and they were spoiled them in every way possible and we must have been a ghost. Service sucked. The food took forever. Mine was terrible. I had the tempura lobster, it was cold and mostly breading.
It was one of the very few times I left a 10% tip, our waitress was equally at fault. I am the one that convinced my friends to go and it was embarrassing.
Sorry for the bad review but you asked. ...Stan Reed
We dined at Fleming's for a special evening. Overall we had a very good experience. All of the food was flavorful, but the food presentation was definitely lacking, considering the costs. The portions were adequate, but not what I would consider a good value. The service was great.
We likely won't go back, and would recommend it only for diners who have an unlimited dining budget.
Went for our Anniversary. Both had filets, here's petite (6 oz), mine main (12 oz). Both cooked perfect medium rare. Sides excellent (truffle mashed potatoes and asparagus). Ordered off Southern Hemisphere special menu, so meal had southern spice influences. Shrimp appetizer (4 big shrimp) had spicy sauce, very good, and entree had Mole and chipotle sauces and 2 types salt accompanying, made for a very interesting experience. Dessert a bread pudding with white chocolate and raspberry was excellent. Service excellent with very attentive management. Overall, a great experience and will return soon. Recommend hihhly.
This place did not disappoint. The steaks were perfect along with the service and atmosphere. We tried The Capital Grill (across the street) the week before and they can't compare to the food we were served here. Dollar for dollar your money is better spent at Fleming's. It is now one of our new favorite places to dine in SW Florida.
We dined at Fleming's for Easter. Our waiter, Jonathan, was exceptional! He was very personable and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious! The only negative would be the noise level. It was extremely high. My mom had been before and said the same thing. Over all, it was a great experience. We will return.
My son was in from college for Easter and we had lunch there. We both ordered the prime rib which is only available on Sundays. The wedge salad was excellent, the prime rib had this huge piece of fat in the center about 2 X 4 inches that was unpleasant to look at. Was not the typical, marbleizing that it should have. I cut it out right away and placed it on my bread plate. I ordered the crème brulee for dessert. It was watery, and had not set up. I looked around for my server and then I got the attention from the Manager and he came to me and addressed it right away. Didn't offer me another dessert, just a replacement. Went back to the kitchen and brought me another one which was OK, still wasn't set all the way either. We both left really full and content.
My husband and I are great fans of Flemings! We frequent as often as we can. The food and service are always wonderful! We love all of their beef entrees..prime rib, filet, ny strip, and more. I would definitely recommend this Naples restaurant if you are looking for a delicious meal and great service. have fun!
The service was attentive and courteous.
The food was overpriced by about 20% compared with the same quality and quantity at other restaurants.
The wine was slightly overpriced (5%).
The booth was comfortable, but the ambience was akin to eating in a noisy factory; we had to speak uncomfortably loud to carry on a conversation.
We came there with a $50 voucher; without it, we would consider other establishments.
We might consider a glass of wine and a snack in the bar area, but the the thought of a loud and overly priced dinner is not in our future.
Yes, we can afford it, but the sound level is uncomfortable, and we feel foolish when we feel we are over-paying.
Again, the service was great.
Dinner was good , attentive service . The only disappoint thing was we asked to save our leftovers and some of them were missing . Very dissapointing in that , not like the food is inexpensive and if you only eat half like you're really supposed to .... money thrown away ! Not by us 😠
Food and service were fabulous. However, a bit humiliating when the server returned our pre-paid $500 Visa card saying it was declined, twice! Manager came to the table and also said 'this happens sometimes'. We were entertaining guests so it certainly was a disaster. Apparently, unbeknownst to the manager - credit cards are routinely charged 20% extra to cover the anticipated tip. He didn't know this and neither did we. I called the CC company and they explained that the charge was being submitted for $514 (in excess of what was actually on the card) therefore it was declined When we found out this information we asked that the card be charged $400 and a second card for the additional balance including the tip. Another manager called me the following evening and has kindly offered our party a 'recovery' dinner - all expense paid. However, we'll not be able to take advantage of this opportunity until next Season as we are seasonal here in Florida - hopefully they'll remember all of this - my name/number are on file there. We look forward to another 'less stressful' meal at Flemings.
