Fleming's Steakhouse - Atlanta Ratings and Reviews
This restaurant is so overpriced for what you get..... Ruth"s Chris blows this place away. 250 dollars for dinner, shared an appetizer, no salad and one dessert , non interested server, tiny steak, over done......dark atmosphere. Longhorn is way better for a third the price. We had a gift card here....would never spend my money to come here, not good at all!!!!!
For the price, there are 10 steak spots in town doing a better job. The filet came out hard as a rock with congealed Bernaise sauce, when I order medium. My husband’s NY Strip was thin and unremarkable. The sides also were unremarkable. Again - for a $200 dinner this was not worth it. Longhorn would have been better. Our server, Morgan, was great. She worked hard to make it all come together the best she could.
Service was not up to Fleming standards. Our server was busy with other tables and often disappeared for long periods of time. Our cocktail was made incorrectly and we had to ask another food runner to have it remade. Wine was off as well. Steaks and sides were excellent. We expect much better service and execution for such an expensive dinner.
We had an overall good time . Service was great . Food was good . We did feel it was slightly over priced . We ordered the pork chop and the 8 oz filet with a truffles lobster companion. We shared Brussels sprouts and the Flemmings potatoes . We both started with the Flemmings salad as well . Each having a glass of wine .
New Year's day dinner. Less than a quarter of the tables were occupied yet took 45 minutes from the time we place our order until the dinners (3) arrived. When they did arrive one steak was so over cooked we refused it. It then took about 25 minutes for the replacement steak to arrive and that was also greatly over cooked. In addition the staff offered a complementary side dish that was also extremely over cooked and dried out. The bright spot was the server and other wait staff. who were very apologetic and comped the problem meal. We blame the chef for the poor meal.
Fleming's was packed on NYE and the food/service were off a little. I still give it 4.5 stars (rounds up to 5), but the meal pacing wasn't quite right and the chocolate lava cake - which is normally "amazing" - was just "very good". Regardless, it was a great place to celebrate the end of the year and I highly recommend Fleming's Steakhouse.
I keep trying Fleming’s every few months, hoping it’ll be a better experience, but unfortunately it never is! The staff were very polite and accommodating, the desserts were excellent but those are the only good things I can say. Like all Atlanta steakhouses this one is dark and gloomy with no natural light. The food is horribly overpriced ($17 for an appetizer of 3 small slices of thick bacon smothered in way too much overly sweet glaze), the sides are all too greasy and oily etc etc. $160 plus tip for 3 courses and no alcohol simply isn’t value for money.
I’m afraid I won’t be going back.
We came to Fleming's to celebrate my husband's birthday. It seemed a great choice as the entire family loves steak. My husband and I have been to the original Fleming's in Newport Beach, CA so we knew the reputation. It did not disappoint. Service was spectacular and the food was amazing. So happy we chose Fleming's for our family special occasion.
Della wasn't a good waitress, she wasn't interested in serving us after we decline to order cocktails or appetizers. She was very forgetful when it came to our ice-tea mango drinks and the bread that is served. She bought us cappuccino which were cold. She was just awful. Brandon the manager that evening apologize for her not being the best she could be but also was saying it was her last week.
Now the last time we came before this time our whole experience was phenomenal!!!! Victoria was a amazing, very thoughtful waitress made our time there an amazing evening. Now that is what we expect each time we come to Fleming's especially spending that amount of money. Plus we are Dine Rewards member at that so you should know that we like and will continue to dine with Fleming's.
This was not our first time, we had been there several times whenever we wanted a restaurant for a special occasion. Even though we were a bit late for our reservation, the Manager, Mr. Sinatra, went over the top to accommodate us. The food was excellent - I had the lobster small plate and it had 3 lobster tails!!! We also ordered a bottle of bubbly that Mr. Sinatra comped for us for having to wait! The service was impeccable, and we would definitely go back again.
First time visiting this location to celebrate a birthday. We waited 30 minutes past our reservation time for a table but the hostesses and manager were very gracious and brought us champagne while we waited. This restaurant does a fine job in celebrating birthdays! Sprinkles on the table and a card signed by the staff were a very nice touch! Christmas Eve was a pretty busy night, our server seemed distracted whenever she was taking our orders but the food was good and we enjoyed the flow of the meal. I would definitely give them a second visit during a less busy time.
It was our anniversary, so we splurged. Everything is a la carte and very expensive. The service was wonderful, but we didn't think the food was worth the cost. They took our picture and gave it to us framed, they gave me a rose, and they also gave us flutes of ginger ale to celebrate with. (We do not drink alcohol). I ordered lobster which was tough and fishy tasting. Definitely not the best I ever had. My husband's steak was ok, but again not the best he ever had. The bill was $150 plus tip making it a very expensive evening.
Very surprised to find a steak house of this type to run out of a bone in filet at 7:00 on a Tuesday.
Service was very good. 2 out of the 5 steaks were supposed to be medium but came to table with very red cold middle. My kids were not going to have them take it back but I insisted.
steaks were good but a bit overpriced.
First visit, wife's 80th birthday, couldn't have been any nicer. Table was decorated, birthday card from staff, red rose on the table, glass of complimentary champagne for each of us, and a box of home made white and dark chocolates for dessert. You can bet we will return!
We had a 50% off card we had received and they were happy to have us. Our favorite Chardonnay Rombauer was priced much higher then other restaurants of same stature at $95...as were others. Our waitress was very kind and engaging. The steaks we ordered - small filets both came out as medium + when we had ordered medium and medium rare. For the price I feel we get a better value at Capital City Grille orbMcKendricj’s which are both in the same vicinity.
Flemings was extremely overpriced for the quality of food. The prices @ Flemings were similar to the prices at Bones. However, I would compare the steaks at Flemings to Longhorns. Bones is a wonderful steak house with the highest quality of meats, seafood, sides, etc . . .I cannot say the same about Flemings. In addition, the a la carte sides were nothing to write home about (droopy fries and overcooked brussel sprouts). Therefore, I would never recommend Flemings to a friend - overpriced and poor quality. And, I we will not be returning either.
