Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. They treated me like a king for my birthday celebration.
The best restaurant in Dallas! You will not find better service or food anywhere. Highly recommend the crab cake and bone-in ribeye, which was grilled to absolute perfection. The sides were excellent and not overcooked. Cannot wait to see James and his crew again soon.
Too loud to enjoy the meal
The dining experience is always excellent at Eddie V's. Great service and great food. The staff is very professional and really enhances the dining experience! I highly recommend!!
My husband and I came to Dallas for a weekend getaway and were looking for a spot to have romantic dinner and great seafood. We based our choice on reviews left by other people, and we were definitely glad we did! We started with a half dozen New England oysters. The vinaigrette that came with them paired perfectly with the brine. I ordered the special: soft shell crab with a side of bacon balsamic Brussels sprouts. My husband ordered the redfish with a side of crab fried rice. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We shared a bottle of delicious Capture Sauvignon Blanc which was recommended by our waitress. The wait staff were very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and ingredients. Overall we had a wonderful experience. The food, service, and ambiance are top notch! We will absolutely return.
Great treatment by all
Took way too long. Reservation at 6:30 didn’t get food until 8:00. Sold out of lobster
My first time and I was looking forward to the evening. Unfortunately, the food just isn't very good here. And the marginal food was the highlight of the night. We waited an hour and 45 minutes before we even got our main course. 15-20 before bread. 20 more before soup. Another hour for the dinners. Etc. Needless to say it was a long night. We went on Mother's Day, but I can't imagine that it was any busier than a normal Saturday night rush. We got dessert paid for by the manager (without even complaining), so I do have to tip my hat about that. Unfortunately it was bad food, bad kitchen, bad service.
The food and service were beyond amazing as it was Mother's Day and you were slammed!! We all loved everything that we had and thank you for an amazing time. I will say I did state this was a good place to go for a date or special occasion as the prices are a little high.
Amazing food not like any other. With the service they give you feels like they really care about there business.
They were obviously not prepared for the Mother’s Day crowd or overbooked everyone. Made a reservation for 2:30 and finally got seated at 3:00. Ordered at 3:20 and still no main course served at 4:30 so we asked for the check for the appetizer and left.
They were overbooked for a Mother’s Day. the service was extremely slow especially given the fixed price menu. They were out of several options. Overall, the food was good but Luke warm when it arrived. The phenomenally slow service (3 hours for brunch) ruined it.
Being regular decided to book for Mother’s Day lunch at 130. However, we were not seated until 110 - that’s 40 min wait! They were over booked like airlines used to do. Of course, no apologies.
Then the food was quite mediocre for their standard. The worst thing the dessert ordered was finished so offered berries. The server brought a few pieces of pineapple!! No apologies.
Not going back again for such a terrible experience on Mother’s Day with pathetic customer service. Did not see manager on site.
It was Mother’s Day and we had to wait a little past our reservation time. Once seated, the manager came by to apologize for the wait. Service was fairly prompt considering the crowd. We didn’t have the Special Brunch, but rather ordered from the dinner menu. I had the Mediterranean Branzino and my husband had the Crusted Sole. We both thoroughly enjoyed the fish, grilled asparagus, and I had the heirloom tomato salad. All delicious! Plenty to get to-go boxes for leftovers! Great value!
Bad experience. I will not recommend for a holiday. Even with a reservation, it took 35 minutes to be seated. Main course took 1 hour to receive and many of the items that were suppose to be part of it, was missing. Server was great and she tried to make up for the overall mess ups.
They took far more reservations than what they could handle and keep the expected quality of service. Again, I would not recommend for holidays.....
Our server and the food was fantastic! My only complaint would be that the default seating appears to be in the bar area vs the main dining unless specified. We were already being seated 15min later than our reservation and I didn’t want to wait an additional 15-20min for better seating.
Great Mother’s Day lunch
Eddie V's is our favorite restaurant in Dallas. The food and service are always phenomenal. Best cocktails in town!
Mother’s Day Brunch - super non hurried and exceptional food and service for such a busy time!!
We love coming here, the customer service and the food is always great! Definitely a recommended place for anyone to try.
Great food and service

Excellent food and service. Noisy since we were seated near the bar.
I can't say enough about the extraordinary experience I have here. I love this place. The Martinis are so creative and delicious, I usually order the surf and turf which is cooked to perfection. The sides are all great additions to the meal, and the signature Bananas Fosters dessert is a must. The staff always make me feel so special and are beyond professional, attentive, and eager to provide you with a memorable experience.
The food was excellent as always. Really enjoy the great service.
GM Mike and our server Christian made the birthday evening very special. Food was excellent. This is a great spot for a romantic special occasion
It was an awesome place with great food
Noise level to high to conduct a business conversation.
Five star all the way!
As always....it was great! Simone was the best. Love her as a waitress.
We ordered the crab cakes for an app. My client bit down on two pieces of glass. Needless to say I was extremely embarrassed. This is a new client of mine and this dinner was to build a great working relationship. It's hard when something like this happens. The manager only comped the crab cakes and gave my client another beer. Personally they should of done a lot more to help. I have images but for some reason it's not letting me upload. Besides the cab cakes the food was good. I'm rating them a poor because of my client having not one but two pieces of glass in his mouth and bitting down on them hard. He personally said I almost broke my tooth.
Always exceptional food and service! Never disappoints
Waiter was ok and the food was good . This place is very loud and our table was wobbly and was never addressed . We ordered coffee and there was a perfect lipstick print on the cup . We went outside for a smoke only to come back and find an empty table and yes all of our food was gone . X off my list
Each time we visit we alternate between seafood and steak and Eddie V's never disappoints. They Are the real deal from service to taste to dessert. You got to go there!
