Absoultley love this place. The views are insane and the food is extremely delicious! Great for special occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays, etc. Portions are actually pretty big! I reccomend the hummus for the appetizer, to die for!

Made reservations requesting outdoor seating - patio was denied by waitress/host/and manager on duty. We stood our ground and decided to wait the estimated time of 1h 30min. Manager on site was not sensitive to over experience as she was brash and aggressive. Other than that, 5-star rating...

Four of us had dinner to celebrate my 70th birthday. This was our second visit and did not disappoint. The service is excellent without being intrusive and the food was excellent! We had a stone fish, pork tenderloin, duck and bistro steak. Everything was prepared to order and had unique and flavorful accompaniments. Creme brûlée with a candle was a perfect ending to a lovely meal. We requested and received a window facing table which provided a great view of the city lights. Highly recommended for special occasions.

The view isn't the only reason to visit. The food, drinks, and service is top notch.
We were able to enjoy a cocktail on the outside patio with a breathtaking view of Phoenix and then escorted to the dining room with all glass windows so there is not a bad seat in the house.
I had the stone fish and it was delicious after enjoying a bowl of the best lobster bisque I have ever had. My hubby had the pork tenderloin and gave it a thumbs up. You can tell they put a lot of thought into their dishes- each one has a unique twist. Our waiters made our experience the best. Knew when you needed them and left you to enjoy your food and each other. 👍

We visited Different Pointe of View to celebrate a milestone birthday. The entire staff was very friendly, and professional, and did their utmost to help us make it a memorable evening. The scenery was spectacular at sunset, and the food was really delicious. As younger diners, we sometimes feel that fancy restaurants are stiff and stuffy, but this was not at all the case with the ambience or selection here. Instead, it was just great food done very well, with just enough of a flourish to feel a little extra special. There are also reasonable portion sizes - not so big that you'll take half of it home, but not so small that you leave wondering what you paid for. Most of all, it was so nice to feel like the restaurant valued our patronage, and like they wanted to help us make the most of it. We'll definitely return when we want to celebrate another special occasion!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner!!!
We sat on the patio and took great pictures.
Our server was very attentive. I cannot say enough about the food. It was great.....
However, we were slightly disappointed with the Lobster entrée at $46 and all we received were the claws....Outside of that everything was incredible!!
TY & we will be back!!!

Food was great, view fantastic...service in bar area...waitress seemed overwhelmed and anxious. In resuraunt...waiter was to formal, just did his job. Could have made the experience more pleasant if there was some communication. We were a group of three with two birthdays, a little disappointed..

Having never been to this restaurant but always hearing about the stunning views, my wife and I booked a dinner date to celebrate our anniversary. The views were astonishing, the service prompt, polite, and professional with a personal touch. The food was incredible. The filet and accompanying sides made for an incredible flavor profile. The dessert...my god the dessert. Anytime chocolate mouse, caramel, and peanut butter ice cream comes on one plate you know you hit pay dirt. Would come again.

Very quiet, dim and romantic atmosphere. The server was very charming and made the experience very nice.
I made a reservation 1 week in advance, I requested outdoor seating for a bday inner for two at 6:15. The day of reservation I called 12 mins before to let them know we going to be there closer to 6:30. When we arrived they told us there was no more outdoor seating and that it sold out at 6pm. Not sure if it's something on Open Table's end or the restaurant but they should verify at the time of the reservation booking if there will actually be outdoor seating available and if the patron's are 15 mins late they should hold it. We went outside to see the nice view and we saw plenty of open seating for two.
Overall the place was very lovely and the food was mighty delicious.

The food is excellent. The wait staff is incredible and go more than the extra mile. With food allergies and challenges, the chef, the waiter and the manager were really amazing in taking care of me for such a nice dinner. I couldn't have asked for more. This is truly one of my favorite restaurants and should be in the top 5 for the Greater Phoenix Area. I take my best friends here and family for the greatest of experiences. Thank you thank you for all you do! I'll be back!

The and food were excellent and the views fantastic. All of the service people we intereacted with with friendly and professional. Answers to any questions about the menu were welcome and responses respectful and valuable. This was our not our first visit to Different Pointe of View, and I can attest to the consistency of the good value it delivers.

A notable end to our week eating out during restaurant week. We will definitely be back here. The view of Phoenix was stunning, and the food was very innovative. We started with an appetizer - my husband had hummus, which was quite different but delicious. I had a salad, again, very tasty and beautifully presented. We both had fish - I had an Ahi tuna that was wonderful, served with vegetables and "forbidden rice" - a black rice that was earthy and very good. Dessert was fabulous, too. Our server was friendly and polished. A very enjoyable evening. This is the place to celebrate a special anniversary or even pop the question...very special.

The views are the best in Phoenix/Scottsdale. Service was fabulous. Staff were wonderful and Billy is running a great ship here. Only coaching Pointe would be to improve their wine list. The wine we had was very good and well priced, but they lacked many of the more premium wines that are well priced. Otherwise, a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone.

My friend and I ate here for restaurant week and were not disappointed. Everything was perfect... the cocktails, the food, wine and service. We both had the short ribs and agreed they were the best we had ever had. Lean, tender and excellent flavor! A wonderful evening.

This is our favorite restaurant in the Restaurant Week Selection. We have been coming here for the past several years and have never been disappointed. The food is always so flavorful, & the view is always outstanding.

Knew we were in for a great evening when we walked in and a couple of waitresses were dancing in the bar. Obviously, the staff is happy. Can't beat the city view, but the true stars of the show were the kitchen staff.
We started with the shrimp ravioli and the lobster bisque. Rarely have we been treated to such different styles, yet equally fabulous results. The ravioli was a symphony of flavors and freshness that harmonized into one perfect bite after another. The bisque, was nothing less than the definitive, luxurious flavor of lobster - a single note of flavor my wife and I could have ordered and eaten all night.
Alas, we did order entrees. Have to mention that the Stone fish was an absolute phenomenon. Yes, the fish was perfectly prepared, nice sear outside, moist and tender inside. It was served with a flavorful medley of rice and wild mushrooms and the most unbelievable mushroom reduction sauce you will ever have. Seriously, I would have been happy with a bowl of the reduction and loaf of Italian bread. As part of the entrée, complete satisfaction.
I'm embarrassed to say that after I allowed my wife to taste the stone fish, I forbade her from having any more. Sometimes, outstanding food can bring out the base, cruel animal instinct - at least for me.
The winner of the dessert menu was a refreshing strawberry - rhubarb compote, pound cake, and the most devious strawberry cheesecake ice cream, which hijacked the plate as well as your palate.
As you may guess, I could go on and on, but as a great entertainer once said, "Always leave 'em wanting more". I recommend you give them a try yourself!

I was particularly impressed with the ambiance and more specifically the views from our table. Obviously, the restaurant was built with the breathtaking views in mind. But the settings, both inside as well as the outdoor patio, were spectacular. When you combine the views with the food and service it made for a special evening. Comparing this restaurant with say Orange Sky at Talking Stick Resort there is no comparison although it was obvious the casino had night views in mind when they developed the property.

I thought the food was pretty decent for the price. We came for restaurant week and I had really no complaints about the food. The cocktails were just so so. I liked the view, but was surprised at how outdated the restaurant felt. Service was great. The parking lot/valet was weird to navigate. I would probably come back again, but I wasn't completely blown away.

It is not the easiest to find (but once you arrive, the pleasure begins. We were greeted warmly, and escorted to our table which had an unbelievable view of downtown. As night fell, the view was all the more spectacular. The service and food were first rate, excellent presentation and taste. I will add to my favorites.

I have always wanted to go to a Different Pointe of View! It was Restaurant Week and having recently gone through a breakup, I decided to treat myself. The staff was so friendly and attentive. I drank a lot of water but my glass never went dry! My server suggested an excellent Cabernet that accompanied my meal well. I was treated like every other guest with respect - sometimes when you done alone people forget about you or write you off. Not A Different Pointe of View. Hope to go back someday!
