Best experience all a round. My wife (Kristi) and I chose DPOV to reveal to ourselves the gender of our baby. The entire evening couldn't have been any better. The food, service, view... It was all worth the 45 minute drive for us to get there.
The Oysters were amazing!!!!!
I would highly recommend DPOV to anyone interested in enjoying a beautiful night out.

Visiting the area for a short vacation and staying at the Tapitio Hilton hotel. The place was wonderful. We had the oysters for an app. They were tiny but delicious, the pear and Brussels leaf salads were both beautiful and a great combination of flavors. The steak was cooked perfectly. We also had the lobster and scallops. The scallops were very good and the lobster tail had an amazing flavor, but the lobster claw meat had an odd texteure that I did not like. Desserts and service was top notch as well. Highly recommend the place. Darrin was out server and he did a fabulous job. Wish I could go back.

A Different Pointe of View is one of our favorite restaurants in the entire Phoenix metro area. Sitting out on the patio offers the best view ever, great cocktails/wine, fire pit, heaters and great service. The restaurant also offers great food, great drinks and great service. There's some stair climbing but they do have an elevator for those who can't climb. We just love this place!

This was our 29th wedding anniversary dinner and we wanted a great place to eat with a scenic view. Wow...Different Pointe of View didn't disappoint. Our table overlooked the Phoenix skyline, the food was great, and the service second to none.

Food was good. Service needs some improvement.
Waiter was anxious to turn our table so he rushed the entire meal. He brought us the bill the same time he brought our desert. Our total time at our table was less than 50 minutes and we had appetizers, entrees and desert.
For $161 for dinner (no alcohol) we thought we could expect to take our time. I guess not.

Took my girlfriend here for our anniversary and we loved. The service was very nice and attentive, our server was very knowledgeable of food, wine, and surrounding geography. Food was excellent and full of flavor. Lobster bisque was good, but a bit too rich. Really loved the duck, it was very tender and packed with so much flavor. We loved our experience and will be back again

This is the 4th year we have spent New Year's Eve here and it is always a pleasure to come back. This year they honored our request for a window table and the views and ambiance are magnificent. We will plan to come back perhaps for another occasion. As usual the food was excellent and the service was too.

The food and service were truly outstanding. Our servers went the extra mile to ensure we were able to fully enjoy the Christmas dinner buffet. Even though costly, we will be there next year. Splendid food, splendid views... we loved it.

There were four of us. I loved the view, the food was very good, it was very lovely to look at,
I am not sure if the prices were real increased for Christmas Day, but we could not come often
as we paid $600 for four of us. It was a special occasion and I am glad we did this once. Our Son and wife flew in from Seattle and enjoyed the view and everything. It truly was a great treat.
I will probably call to see if we can come and sit outside and have some appetizers/tapas and wine. I would like to invite friends to do this with us. Depends on price.

Our 1st visit was a surprise birthday party for me. This time it was Christmas Eve and we continued the tradition of celebrating my mother's birthday with fine dining, as we did during her lifetime. This dinner didn't disappoint in any way!
Wonderfully creative dishes, perfectly prepared and presented. Our server, Ian, was attentive and engaging. We will continue to come back for special occasions!

Attentive waiter and wait assistant. Of course, the view was amazing! Decor could be updated a bit, but expanse of windows and cozy fireplace near hostess stand were so lovely. We enjoyed a fish dish and lobster tail, as well as a beet salad - all very good. We also liked the wine list.

Service was very well executed. The Truffle Grilled Filet Mignon Food was not only tender but savory. Kept its flavor throughout the entire serving. Prepared as requested and plated excellent. The Lemon EVOO butter Poached Maine Lobster was perfect. No stringiness , no tough meat, just melt in the mouth delicious. The accompanying Diver Scallops were tender and decadent especially when combined with the citrus butter sauce.
Yes, we shared. A mini Surf and Turf affair. Perfect!
Although we did not order the lobster bisque, our waiter brought out samples (in espresso cups, way cool!) for us to try. The bisque was buttery and creamy smooth, delightful.
Our waiter, Luis, was professional yet human. Great knowledge balanced with a welcomed sense of humor. Bravo Luis!
The Tahitian Vanilla Creme Brulee was excellent from the proper caramelized crunch through to the creamy fragrant center.

Loved the view and the ambience. We ordered the lobster dish wth scallops it was divine. The stonefish dish was also great. I was not a fan of the coriander crusted pork dish or the steak dish. The steak was over cooked we ordered medium rare but it came well done. They did bring in another steak dish but it was medium, not medium rare.
To sum up, I would order the seafood dishes again but not steak. Creme brûlée was great

Beautiful restaurant with an exceptional view! Definitely a hard place to find (address on Yelp was definitely not the correct one).
When we finally arrived we were greeted and seated within 10 minutes. Waiter was wonderful as well as the chef who came out to greet throughout the evening.
I ordered the Truffle Filet and it was pretty good, but nothing extraordinary. I'd give it a 3.5/5
We also had the Scallops & Lobster - the scallops were extremely salty and lobster was decent. 3/5
My girlfriend ordered the duck confit and it was the better of the three plates! 4/5
The wine was priced well for a high end restaurant and we had a lovely evening with a great view of the city. The serviced and ambiance was wonderful!

Overall, outstanding. However, I was very disappointed with the limited wine selection. Other than an extensive and expensive selection of California Cabernet Sauvignon wines, it was very limited in wines from France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and South America. I really do not think that spending $250 Plus for a Robert Mondavi Reserve wine is a good choice. How about some Pauillac Gran Cru, Bordeaux, Marques de Riscal Gran Reserva, etc.....

The fantastic view was surpassed by the exceptional execution on our menu choices. The lobster bisque & filet mignon were excellent. Seriously, probably one of the best preparations of a steak I've had. Thanks, Chef!

As always we had a wonderful experience at Different Pointe of View. I requested a table near the window and was not disappointed. This restaurant has the best view in the valley. From the moment you step into the restaurant you are amazed by the fabulous view. We always have good service here. The lobster bisque is wonderful, as are the salads. We all enjoyed our entrees. The creme brûlée is one of the best I've ever had. A great experience!

A bit on the expensive side - but worth it. Not a weekly place to go, but for a special occasion it was great. Service was outstanding, great location, resort is beautiful, and the views were amazing. Bus Boy, Waiter, Manager were all fantastic. Food was incredible - pork belly risotto is to die for!

We took my Mom here for her 75th birthday, which we noted when we made the reservation. The restaurant made sure that the host and waiter were aware and they both wished my Mom a Happy Birthday. They seated us at the best table by the window. They also brought a lovely chocolate mousse dessert with a Happy Birthday Chocolate and candle which was complimentary. The food was beautifully presented, we had different entrees, each was delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner or special occassion.
