We were visiting from Canada this past weekend and came to Del Frisco's for dinner with friends from NY. It was an amazing experience due to fantastic service from our lovely waitress, Liz. We would come back in a heart beat and definitely request her as our server. She made our experience (along with the delicious steaks) exceptional. Thank you Liz!

Our dinner was both for business and great friends. My guests were over an hour late getting to the restaurant, but the hostess was very accommodating to make it work. I would highly recommend sitting at the bar for a starter drink or two. The staff was super friendly and professional. All of our food was prepared to perfection.
I'd highly recommend Del Frisco's for anyone looking to have a phenomenal experience.

Went to NYC to celebrate my 68th birthday. We had a wonderful dinner, great staff and service and did I mention that the food was amazing. A trip to NYC is not complete without a meal at Del Frisco's - few restaurants compare.

Service was great, but 8 OZ filet was a complete joke. Not cooked properly, had lots of tough areas (small to begin with) - maybe because I was solo on business they gave me bad piece of meat. Was a complete disappointment.

Waited a bit when we first got to the resteraunt but it wasn't too bad about 15 mins which was fine. Our service was exceptional. Our server was very helpful with our questions. Our food was AMAZING my favourite I must have to say was the beef carpaccio and the blue cheese wedge salad. I can't stop thinking about it. My husband ordered the ribeye with a side of mushroom and mashed potatoes and enjoyed it a lot. Great service !!5stars:)

I have been to the Del Friscos in Las Vegas and that is always consistently great. Great food, great service, great drinks. The NYC location adds that special something. Probably the 12th time I had been to Del Frisco's, the NYC location blew away all other visits.

Food was fabulous and our server (Mason) was spot on with his recommendations and attention. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going to NYC who is looking for a great place to dine for the evening.

Went out to dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday, with his parents. Food was outstanding.
Shared the Wagyu bone-in tomahawk chop which was phenomenal. The sides were equally as delicious - creamed spinach and potatoes au gratin - so yummy.
The dessert didn't disappoint either. Butter cake with butter pecan ice cream??? It was like a very very dense coffee cake - I can only assume at least 4 sticks of butter went into the recipe - but it was delicious.
Portions were extremely healthy - didn't leave hungry at all. If you like to make things extra fancy there were a lot of "add-ons" you could put onto your steak (foie grois, anyone?)
My only critique is that we went on a Saturday night so the place was extremely vibrant...and very very very loud. It was difficult to even hear someone sitting right next to you, so maybe not the best place to have an intimate conversation - but definitely go for the food :)

Arrived at 6:15 pm for a confirmed 6:30 pm reservation through Open Table. Not seated until 7:00 pm. Little information from the hostess other than "tables are full." Hostess did not care that we waited so long. Our table was in a major traffic area with wait staff constantly buzzing by the table. Noise level was too high to have a reasonable conversation. My wife's glass of Zin tasted funny. Our waiter did not offer to replace. My rib eye had excessive fat and a lot of gristle. Only about 10 ounces of the 16 ounce rib eye was good. We went there to enjoy a nice wedding anniversary dinner together. We had anything but a nice dinner. Del Frisco's has always been one of my top steak places in New York. Not so any more. Too many great steak places in New York to bother going again to Del Frisco's.

I've been to many iconic NYC steak houses, and didn't expect Del Frisco's to be particularly great. But it was. The service was excellent - our waiter was phenomenal, and so was the food - we had lobster bisque, crab cakes, ribeye, short rib and a lemon cake. (Now, I'm not a huge fan of lemon cakes generally speaking, so as great (and quite large portion) as it was, I would order another dessert next time around.) The portions were also just right. We were seated on the lower level near the window. The view of the 5th ave was OK. The upstairs seating area looked more attractive to me, but probably better for larger groups. I'm looking forward to coming back or recommending Del Frisco's to my friends.

One of our very favorite NYC restaurants. This visit once again exceeded expectations. Our server, Peter, was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food and cocktails were as great as ever. When we come up from Florida for a visit, Del Frisco's is our go to place. It never fails.

White bread/ bad quality, lobster bisque standard quality, porterhouse steak was very greasy, too much butter on it. Mac & cheese with lobster was good. Good winelist. Very loud location, central but cold and not cosy atmosphere.

The business lunch was a better value, now not so much. The waiter kept on spilling water and iced tea on the table when he would refill our glasses, at the end of the meal the whole tablecloth was wet. Our party of four each ordered the business lunch with filet medallions, medium. Each one came out either rare or still blue. They offered to take them back and heat for longer; the meat came back in about three minutes and was still quite red. Prior to us receiving our dessert we were given the check, quite rude.

It is supposed to be a superior steak place. If you do not choose the most expansive (bone in ) the quality is only average. Price for quality is quite high. Wine list looks good bur when you order you may find some surprise, like the year is not the one listed. This is the 4th time in 2 years and the satisfaction is constantly declining. Probably I'll try a new place next tim

I can't begin with how amazing the service is our waiter Morgan was excellent he recommended the best dishes del friscos had to offer the meat was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the lobster Mac and cheese was to die for !!! For dessert Morgan recommended the butter cake which was excellent i will definitely be coming back ! Thank u del friscos for making my birthday memorable and thank u for an unforgettable experience

Excellent meal across the board from appetizers through dessert. All four diners raved about the meal. Only issue was slow service out of the gate, 30 minutes late in seating us, and acoustics don't lend themselves for a quiet experience. Overall, thumbs up on steaks, lobster mash, tuna tartare and lemon cake!

William was such a fun waiter and made the night special for me and my girl! The food was out of this world good, but the Spinach side dish requires you to LOVE garlic and we do not. The filet was amazing, as you would expect from a fine steak house. My only to knocks on the place...when you come in with a reservation, you don't expect to wait too long, and we DID! Some things things are worth the wait though (and the food/services was), but if they had a simple electronic notifier device for when tables were ready...people could get seated MUCH faster. Lastly, the table bread is blah...but I didn't go there for the bread. Great place for special occasion...thanks for making our trip to NY Will!

Just a wonderful but expensive meal. The food is outstanding and so is the service. A bit noisy and hustle bustle, but it adds to the cachet. Lamb chops and lobster were wonderful entrees. Carpaccio and tuna tartare were also excellent.
