Steakhouse | Uptown, Dallas

If you want a truly fork-tender, well-seasoned, excellent quality piece of beef, The Capital Grille never disappoints. We only make it to Dallas a couple of times each year but, when we do, we try to fit it into our schedule. When you visit infrequently, it's important that each meal be consistent, and that's what we find here. We're not drinkers, so I can't speak about the quality of the bar or wine cellar. But we've never been unhappy with anything we've tried here. More

Contemporary American | Knox / Henderson, Dallas

There wasn't a single thing about the entire night that wasn't absolutely magical. On arrival the manager, Jeff, greeted us and it felt like going to a friend's home for dinner. The fried olives and turkey meatballs were excellent appetizers. The entrees were out of this world. We'll be going back for sure and this time we're saving room for dessert! Thanks to the team at Gemma for an amazing evening. We loved every minute of it. More

5. Sprezza
Contemporary Italian | Turtle Creek / Oak Lawn, Dallas

Sprezza is a Roman Restaurant and Tavern created by Julian Barsotti, Chris, DJ and Martin Donohoe. The restaurant pays homage to the bustling and energetic Eternal City. Our food draws inspiration from the bold, diverse and comforting cooking of modern Rome, as well as old traditions that date back thousands of years. Our focus is flour and water, and our specialties are Pizza al Taglio, handmade and bronze die extruded pastas. You can expect classics like carbonara, cacio e pepe and Amatriciana executed with sprezzatura. And personal interpretations of Roman cuisine- Inspired by taste memory, the bounties of the 4 seasons and our community and culture. Our craft cocktail program has a focused emphasis on Italian spirits and our wine list is composed of only Southern Italian winemakers. “Tutte le strade portano a Roma.”More
