Da Vinci's Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
Veal Osso Bucco is the best in town, true authentic Northern Italian Cuisine at Da Vinci’s, no other restaurant even comes close . Best Service, Best Food, no wonder they keep getting voted best Restaurant in Not only Greenville but of SOUTH CAROLINA. Great job keep up the good work
Porcini Ravioli`s with black Truffle cream sauce and Parmigano Encrusted Lamb Chops over Butternut Squash Risotto were the spcials of the evening so of course I had to try both, my mouth is still watering over the delicious yumminess of both dishes. I love Da Vinci`s because no matter waht you order you know the food is going to be great and the servers whill pair an excellent wine to go with any dish.
The food was fabulous! Started with the pasta bean soup- absolutely delicious. The shrimp with pasta and arugula was light and perfectly seasoned. The penne with sausage was excellent. The chicken Parmesan was very tasty. It was a birthday celebration and they brought out a very lovely dessert plate for the 89 year old birthday girl! Wonderful service!
Sat at the bar for dinner and a glass of wine. Nice atmosphere, very good food and the people were very easy going. No waiting during the late dinner time. Family owned and the wait staff were very attentive and provided good service with the food being delivered in a reasonable amount of time.
Overall, a very nice experience I would recommend for anyone living in Greenville or from out of town just visiting.
Food was excellent with generous portions. The sea bass special was cooked perfectly. Wine list was extensive as was the cocktail list.
My only complaint is that when one of the servers accidently knocked over one of the guests' ceviche appetizers into his lap, there wasn't anything offered except an apology. I would think it customary to offer a small discount on the meal, a free coffee or dessert to make things right. this was a large party with a 20% gratuity automatically added, so there was some room to adjust the $$ to overcome the mistake.
Another delicious dinner at DaVinci's, our meal was perfectly prepared and they accommodated my request for a special cocktail so I was delighted! One of our very best restaurants in Greenville for sure! Service is unmatched! Thank you for a wonderful dinner!
Our First Time Here and one of my Coworkers was sitting at the bar and came over to the table and said I can`t beleive this is your first time here, this is by far one of my favorite restaurants!!! It was A busy Saturday night and lot`s of people around enjoying their delicious food before heading off to the Jason Aldean Concert with their full bellies and happy faces as they left, My wife and I stayed behind to enjoy a luxurious and relaxing dinner since it was our 3rd anniversary and first time out in a long time having 2 babies at home. Kerry was our server and she was excellent, brought us a Champaigne Toast to start, then we had the Octopus and Shrimp Cocktail that was super flavorful, but the beautiful martini glass that it came in was very timid because we almost knocked it over several times, as we saw several other guests who almost did the same thing, but we ate it all without a misshap, then we had the Seabass that was perfectly cooked, Quattro Formagi Pasta, and Veal that was so moist and delicious. It was an absolutely magical and romantic eveving, So my coworker was right best Restaurant in Greenville and we will definitely be back once we find a babysitter!! Thank you
Top notch dining experience all across the board. While the restaurant was almost filled, it still maintained an intimate feel and we never felt rushed. We went for an anniversary dinner and our server led us through the menu and wine list to assure our choices maximized our experience. The food - a totally new experience. The Ravioli is to die for!! The wine list - gratefully, not the same old choices. We found a new Brunello that we both loved. And don't get me started on the Chocolate Mousse!!! We'll definitely be adding DaVinci's to our new list of Greenville favorites. Can't wait to try their lunch.
Butternut Squash Bisque with black truffle`s was so good I wanted lick the bowl, but I refraind from doing so because I think this is frowned upon, I could hav eaten 3 bowls, but I had to save room for the award winning stuffed Veal Chop, with Fontina, Mozzarella and Proscuitto then topped with a sage artichoke sauce with more black truffle peelings, paired with a nice bottle of Amarone. I was in Heaven!!!
Entree and appetizer descriptions sounded delicious, but our dishes were lacking in spices and herbs one would expect with Italian cuisine. The risotto in one of our dishes was undercooked and not creamy as risotto should be. Our waitress for the most part was very good, but she never came back to ask how our food was after our entrees were served. Ambiance could have been better - the tables are very close to each other and the ones across the aisle are in direct view of one another. We happened to have had a very loud individual at the next table which didn't help. The food doesn't justify the very upscale prices.
Best Authentic Northern Italian cuisine I have ever had, great service, excellent wine list. It’s nice to go to a 5 star restaurant and enjoy a great meal without any kids, thus the white table cloths and wine glasses and no high chairs! Just right for date night, business meeting or piece and quite from all the hustle and bustle from the chain restaurants.
Food was good, but nothing special. It was my husbands birthday and we were both disappointed. The service was good...but for the price we have had much better food. We eat out every week and my husband loves Italian food. I had the Shrimp Riviera and my husband had Veal. Sorry but we were not impressed and portions are small. The waitress was very attentive and professional.
I love this restaurant, the food always comes out piping hot and I can taste the freshness from homemade stocks, homemade sauces, homemade dressings, homemade pastas, homemade desserts, craft cocktails that have Won Da Vinci`s Numerous Awards, Not to mention that Da Vinci`s has been voted #1 Italian restaurant in Greenville on 4 different occasions and in the Top 10 Restaurants of the State of South Carolina, I am proud to have a #1 Restaurant in our Town Of Greenville. Thank you Chef Carlos for always doing outstanding work, definitely can tell your love a dedication in the way you cook your food!
