Great food and service
Wonderful as usual. Perfect service and presentation. Great wine selection
Food was good. this is a very busy restaurant in a very busy area. Make a reservation during season.
Great food and good service....took a really long time for out meal; problems in the kitchen
The Da Vinci Ristorante was incredibly busy. Tons of locals and tourists enjoying great Italian food. We arrived on time and were seated immediately. I wasn’t really into the two seat small dining table where one person faces a wall, but that’s what we received. The appetizers we ordered were the best part of the night - octopus salad appetizer was extremely fresh and flavorful, enough for an entree. The eggplant and ricotta app also tasted like someone really cared about what they were sending out from the kitchen. We ordered a nice bottle of wine, Duckhorn Cabarnet, to go with the night’s meal and were kind of disappointed- my fault I should have ordered something else like a Super Tuscan. Our entree was a pizza. Our night was centered around getting a wood fired pizza. The pizza was cooked with care, bubbles and char in the crust, but the dough was flavorless-not a sour dough as expected. As a quality control issue I would not serve it on a non-perforated dish because it turns the pizza soggy. No one wants a mushy pizza. I realize that certain toppings can “water down” the top, but that should be accounted for in the prep when ordering a pizza off the menu. The desserts we ordered were the chocolate gelato and an insanely rich chocolate/nutella ganache. The two were great together. Thanks for a great night.
Food prepared well and served competantly. Great for outdoor seating, nice wine list and dependable.
Knowledgeable staff, efficient and quick
Great meal! In order, we had some nice warm and delicious Italian bread and focaccia served (almost immediately!). The house salad was fine - nothing special, honestly, just some greens with a nice balsamic vinegar type dressing - but the day’s soup special (Italian wedding soup), with some extra Parmesan, was yummy! The pasta carbonara was great, although it would’ve been even better with just a bit less salt. The veal saltimboca was also very good, although if you had the carbonara first it tasted under salted! And it all ended with a delicious profiterole, finally served with a proper amount of nice creamy ice cream!!
Best meal we have had on Marco Island so far (5 days in)!
Food excellent. Good location close to resorts. Indoor eating with cozy feel. Outside patio very nice.
We have made Da Vinci's our favorite restaurant on Marco Island. Our dinners have always been hot and wonderfully tasteful. You have to try it to see for yourself.
Wonderful dinner & service. The sea bass I had was prepared exquisitely & the lamb my spouse had was fabulous. Since it was Valentine’s Day, the restaurant was crowded & noisy. But we sat very close to the bar & the kitchen area so I’m sure that was part of the noise level.
Always good value.
We brought the fish we caught and had them prepare it. They did a fantastic job...fish was delicious.
Great food and excellent service!
