Cucci Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
We have been here before, but on this occasion it was spectacular. The food was Devine. The sauce on the pasta lobster dish was unbelievable. But, it was our waiter Ernie who made the visit extra special. He has a lovely, helpful manner about him and he made us feel very welcome and appreciated. We will be back.
The food was okay, had the rabbit wellington but wasn't told that it was deconstructed with a piece of pastry on top, the dish was huge and was to offer creamed spinach and foie gras but the dish had no colour and you couldn't tell the meat from the mushrooms or from the foie gras. There was a smidgen of spinach but it was not what I expected at all and was not told by the waiter what to expect with the dish even asking for his opinion on it. My husband had tagliatelle which he said was okay. The appetizer bibb salad was nothing special but the truffle toast was good. The waiter was very attentive although he could have described the dish at least to say it was not what you would picture a wellington to be.
The dessert was okay but nothing special. We found the whole dinner to be a bit rushed.
My girlfriend and I were at Cucci on Valentine's Day for the set menu. The ambiance was great and the restaurant itself was quite cozy. We had some concerns with the set menu as my girlfriend has an allergy to both dairy and eggs, but they did an outstanding job accommodating this and making the night quite special. Most notably for dessert the chef made her a chocolate avocado pudding, this marked the first time she has been able to have dessert at a restaurant that isn't just berries or sorbet. Our server was outstanding, he made sure everything was perfect right from the beginning. There was one small hiccup with the order that our food came out, and although to us it was no problem both our server and the manager went to great lengths to make sure that the problem was addressed and made up for. All in all a great night with great food and great service. We'll be back for sure.
We had very attentive service. Specials were offered. Kitchen accommodating with special requests. Gift of chocolate mousse for the birthday boy. Given complimentary Cucci table purse hooks. One man band pianist background music added to the sumptuous ambiance.
We went to Cucci's to celebrate my son's birthday and it was wonderful, as usual. We did find it a little louder than normal, not sure if it was the music in the background? Service was impeccable, ambience was great, and the food outstanding - no surprise as Cucci's is one of the most consistent restaurants in Bronte for the great experience.
We have been a Cucci's customer for a number of years and have never been disappointed. Cucci manages to provide high end, attentive service that is friendly but not overbearing. Whether it is just dropping by for a drink at the bar or having a full meal, we are always made to feel welcome.
What a great experience! We went for my husbands birthday and the service & food was fantastic. The server asked us if we had additional plans for the evening or if we would be enjoying our dinner. She then paced our meal out perfectly. Loved not feeling rushed for our special night out.
It was my 2nd time at Cucci and although I had been very impressed the 1st time, I was rather disappointed this time. The atmosphere and the service were excellent. It might have been my choice of menu - Ceasar salad which was very blend and the rabbit which was a lot of work - not deboned - which made me lose interest.
Wonderful place. The service from the second you step in the front door to the time you leave is wonderful. Food is wonderful and the live band was so soft and romantic not a disruption of any kind but a great additive. Our server was fantastic. Relaxed yet on point. We will definitely be back.
It has become a tradition for us 3 couples to meet up at Cucci between Christmas and New Year ,to celebrate together and catch up. We much prefer to go to Cucci rather than any of the Downtown Oakville restaurants as not only is the food and service excellent but the parking is free and easy.
We usually ask to sit in the second room rather than the main area as this is quieter for talking . On this visit we started with antipasti that we all shared . It included a wide selection of cured meats, pickled veggies, seafood and of course a Cucci staple - mushroom toast. We then had lobster linguine, the shrimp special and scallop risotto. All dishes were greatly enjoyed.
I cannot remember the name of our main waiter, but he like all the wait staff was very friendly whilst being efficient. Our other waiter, Ernest, was also extremely welcoming and arranged for an amazing plate of Cucci made deserts which we all shared, accompanied by glasses of sparkling cocktail. The dark chocolate bark and tiramisu were especially good and just melted in your mouth. This was a wonderful way to finish a special meal.
I am sure we will be back to celebrate Christmas 2017 at Cucci!
This is my second review, having before mentioned that a half bottle of wine is exactly what we wanted, not a glass or a full bottle, combined with our excellent anniversary meal. The tiramisu is the best we have ever eaten! As well the complimentary toast was an added surprise! We will go back yet again!
A fabulous restaurant for that special occasion with one or a group. I have been to Cucci in the past, but never before with a small group (5). The dress code is a little more dressy and the service a little more formal, but perfect for being pampered. We had a really fun time and the food was excellent! The staff are very personable too! Cheers!
Another wonderful evening at Cucci! Cucci is our go to restaurant for business, family, celebration dinners and lunches. Also the perfect place for a romantic dinner for two. We have entertained clients on many occasions and many are now Cucci fans. The menu choices are always amazing. Very creative and delicious. The service always exceeds expectations. All guests will find that after one visit the staff remembers you and always makes you feel welcome and appreciated. On this particular evening Marino warmly greeted us at the door and continued to make sure that everything was perfect as the night progressed. We advise to make a reservation. Cucci is a popular destination.
