Cucci Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
We dined at Cucci to celebrate my wife's birthday as it is one of our favorite restaurants. The food was excellent, especially the calamari appetizer, and the sea bass and halibut entrees. Both fish were moist, flavorful and beautifully presented. Service was also excellent and our server, Lisa, was friendly, professional and is fully informed about each offering, what they contain and how they are prepared. Cucci has an extensive and interesting wine list that would appeal to any wine lover. A most enjoyable dining experience. We look forward to returning.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. A little on the pricey side however it was definitely worth it. The servers were attentive without being pushy and the menu had a great selection making it extremely difficult to choose. We ask for recommendations on wines to suit our taste and our meals and were very pleased with the recommendations. The live music was a nice touch and added to a pleasant ambiance.
We would definitely recommend.
Another great experience! This is about our 5th or 6th time now and we chose to sit outside for the first time. Wonderful evening and ambiance. The service and food choice and quality were very high. We had the Seafood Linguine special and the regular menu Duck (medium rare). Both were delicious. On Tuesday nights that offer no corkage fee and we took advantage with a delightful Portuguese wine from the Duoro region. Yum! We'll be back....
I thought the food was outstanding, except my dessert which I did not care for. Our waiter was fantastic. The atmosphere was okay. A big family right beside us with a teenager who kept redoing her long hair was something I could have done without. Also the main meals were not overly big and quite honestly I thought were a little overpriced but delicious none the less.
I just moved to Burlington last year and this is my third visit to Cucci for another outstanding meal and evening. This time, I brought 6 guests and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! I love the live music and I especially love that it's the kind of special place people actually dress up to go out to dine there. Food and service were outstanding! Thanks so much.
Our family went there for my wife's birthday. The ambiance of the restaurant was refined and civilized, not pretentious. It was busy for a Wednesday night yet the noise level did not seem overly loud. The live music was excellent, initially we thought the music was streamed through speakers until we noticed the musician playing in the corner. Our waiter, Ernie, was very professional. He was able to answer questions about the menu items in a succinct yet detailed manner. The food was delicious. The antipasto for two and the grilled calamari were both very tasty. The Caesar salad was very good; it came with an anchovy and egg which you can mix into the salad to your taste. The pasta was outstanding especially the gnocchi which was flavourful but not overly rich and heavy. The birthday girl indicated that her pasta dish was the best that she has tasted in some time. The value was very good considering this was fine dining and the excellent quality of the food. Our first visit to this restaurant but certainly it will not be the last. Thank you Cucci.
We'd heard good things about Cucci so went there to celebrate our 52nd wedding anniversary. We were given a good table and service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The restaurant was full and very noisy. The food we chose was average at best and significantly overpriced. We decided on wine by the glass and, while the pinot grigio at $10 was within reason, $16 for a glass of Malbec was ridiculous. The noise level increased as the evening wore on. All in all not a positive dining experience. We wouldn't return.
Very much enjoyed dinner at Cucci. Especially the ones in our group who like seafood.
One vegan had no options but with a few adjustments to her meal, could at least eat vegetarian.
Did not call ahead to request vegan, they may perhaps have been able to accommodate that.
Music was great but difficult to have a conversation once the group started playing. Waiter (whose name we unfortunately don't remember) was very nice, efficient without being 'on top' of us, and had a genuine demeanor, making our dinner enjoyable. Very nice decor also.
We had a lovely evening and loved the bar experience and coctails! were great especially the ceasar!! and listening to the Jaz bad. a special treat and very good!
The food was very good . the menu very different a little rich but very tasty . but I have to say I missed the bread.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent.
A good night all around . A great place to celebrate our 41st Anniversary .
We were so pleased with our experience at Cucci. We were a bit nervous as we had our baby with us but the staff was wonderful with her. Our server Ernie took care of everything. He made sure her food was brought out first and even offered to clean her place mat! His menu recommendations were spot on. I cannot speak highly enough of him. Thank you for such a great evening!
The food is always consistently wonderful and there are creative chef's daily choices that never disappoint. Cucci staff are warm, welcoming & knowledgeable about the wine selections and food options. There is a rotation of upbeat musicians who enhance the atmosphere for dinners bringing to the restaurant a new supper club vibe.
Sometimes we share the evening with friends when we visit Cucci's, but it truly is our favourite date spot.
Simply a gem. This was our second visit to Cucci over a couple of months, and the food and service were excellent in every way. The wild mushroom toast is an outstanding appetizer, and something you won't find too many places -- order it! All else, from the pasta, to the wine, to the chill musician playing (not loudly...Cucci's an easy place to have a conversation), were very good. Highly recommended.
