Loved it !!
We went on April 29, it was my birthday, and it was the best birthday I’ve had in a long time! The entertainment was fabulous! Will be taking my mother-in-law and mother soon with a couple of friends for another fun brunch!
Went for a friend's 23rd birthday! The environment was enriched and we sat near the bar and Joey kept the mimosas coming! The Drag me to Brunch was a hit.
I met three of my former teaching colleagues for a fun filled Sunday brunch. We enjoyed each other’s company as well as the food and beverage and especially the entertainment! We will go again!
The scallops were fabulous! Great atmosphere and good wines!
Food was wonderful. Waiter John was on top of everyone's orders and very friendly. It was overly packed so you really couldn't see the performers too well. Overall, we had a great time. Loved the ones from Cali. We will be back.
What an awesome restaurant! The food was amazing, the wait staff was friendly, with a cozy atmosphere. The cocktail menu was intriguing and the drinks ordered were fantastic! Definitely recommend getting off the beach front to discover this restaurant!
Drag Yourself To Brunch is a BLAST! Grab your best girlfriends and go! Make your reservation at least a month in advance.
Best experience ever! Drag brunch was great . Food and drinks were delicious . Great wait staff and tons of energy from the DJ.
Great food and service
I had a blast! The food was great and the drinks were strong.
Drag brunch is AMAZING! Tightly packed house but servers were fast! Hershay Chocolatte was the Best!!!
We went for my 30th birthday party to drag yourself to brunch. The show was great and the food was amazing
Fun time---cooking class is a great!
Drag yourself to brunch was so fun!
Drag Bingo! Fun, excellent food & service. Second time for Bingo. Recommend the Drag Yourself to Brunch also!
This was a last minute idea the night before and I'm very glad I called to verify that we should make reservations on open table. The Drag yourself to Brunch event was an absolute blast and fully booked. Initially we didn't have great seats (crowded next to bar so folks would "squeeze" thru) -I think Open Table overbooked but we didn't complain - eager to enjoy a good show and would be close to the bar and emcee some there was some good things about the spot. Then the owner moved us to a prime spot that had a "pole" for the ladies to dance around and it was such great seating, which delicious drinks & food (for brunch I recommend the shrimp & grits and some hash-browns or fries to swirl in the remaining in dish after), and great entertainment. A great crowd in attendance too. Will go again and I see they have Tuesday night Drag Bingo too!
I’ve been to the drag brunch several times but most recently it’s been over a year ago. Yesterday our group of five was squeezed into a back corner, possibly the worst seat in the house, and our reservation was made well in advance. This was because every bit of space available was used as seating. I don’t know how the queens themselves can even get through the space. One of us was supposed to sit in a chair in the aisle in the back corner. It was not ideal. I chose to stand the whole time so that I could see anything and so I wasn’t touching the group at the next table. If I’d know it would have been like this I would not have booked the party. The staff is great, the queens are talented and funny but the rest was uncomfortable.
I went for the drag me to brunch event and it was so much fun. Can't wait to go back again. Could use more space for seating.
My boyfriend and I were very excited to attend our first Drag Yourself To Brunch and because we were mostly thinking about the show we did not look at any food reviews for Croc's - just assumed it would be good. Well the show was great!! The girls were vibrant, energetic and lots of fun. The food and drinks, however; were the most disappointing in quite some time for us. Bloody Mary's were weak and noticeably made without fresh ingredients or mixers and we actually wondered if there was any alcohol in there at all. After that we went with tried and true - BEER! For our brunch we ordered spinach and artichoke dip which quite possibly was a frozen box of TGI Fridays from the grocery store. No richness, just blah. We split a crab cake sandwich entrée with fries. I cannot even describe the taste of the crab cake, because it did not even taste like crab. We bought the entrée to share and did not even finish half of the sandwich between the two of us. The fries, well, the fries were straight out of the Walmart frozen foods section. No signature style anywhere to be found. First time in many meals I have not even requested a to-go box. The BF said "we did not like the food while we were at the restaurant, why on earth would we want to take it home?" So, in a nutshell, great show, but if you go eat at McDonalds on your way in and plan on drinking BEER at the bar! That was 100 duckies down the drain!
Great value with half price wine bottles every Saturday
As always the food was very good and a very friendly atmosphere!
The food was OK. Our waitress was HORRIBLE. She forgot to take our order AND she forgot to put our order in. We were the last guesses to receive food. Almost at the end of the show. We asked for our check and she handed me the book and said our checks are in there and made us distribute amongst each other. The drag brunch show was OK. I've been attending year's for 5 years. Nothing has changed. The show definitely needs new performers. I won't be back. Was disappointed along with my guests who were there with me to celebrate my new addition expected in January.
Had a great time at Croc’s for my 25th birthday. If you’re looking for something fun and affordable, Croc’s “Drag yourself to Brunch” is the ideal place !
My party of 7 dined the evening after Thanksgiving. They were not busy as I epected on Black Friday ans we were seated promptly. Our server was helpful and friendly. My crabcake with risotto was excellent as usual. The other 6 were all delighted with their meals. The grilled caesar was great also. No room or desert, but maybe next time.
Croc's has a very relaxed atmosphere. Service was fantastic and food was even better. Everyone ordered something different and every dish was unique in its flavor and presentation. I highly recommend Croc's and can't wait to return.
My wife and I took a friend the Croc's for her 1st visit. Food and service were very good as usual. My best recommendation is that she said she would return with her husband!
I like that we could get some entrees in half-size orders. Everything is made to order. Fresh ingredients. The food was fine, I had the tabouleh salad and half order of shrimp and grits. Husband had the grilled Caesar salad with grilled salmon and bacon. It was a Sunday night, really quiet. The atmosphere/décor is very dark; everything is black. Not appealing at all. Looks like some updates are needed; things looked worn. I had the feeling of it being a bit dirty.
My first time at Drag Yourself to Brunch. I had a blast! I couldn't really tell from the open table reservation or the website that they have 2 seatings. One at 11:00am and a 2nd one at 2:00pm.
We laughed and cried and truly enjoyed Drag Yourself to Brunch!
We went for the Drag Yourself to Brunch which was fun and funny and a must do at least once in your life!
I don't think the food was well represented during Brunch, the menu was limited and it takes quite a while to get your food some seemed not quite warm by time delivered (they're serving the whole restaurant at one sitting)
I would try again for dinner as the wider menu seems lovely and I think the food was better than we experienced - for example we got the hot crab dip everyone raves over and it was just ok.
Also it is EXTREMELY loud, way louder than the music needed to be in such a small venue, bring ear plugs if today don't want ringing ears for a couple hours after!
The food wasn't good. The shrimps were rubbery and over cooked. The grits were under cooked and hard. The gravy was watery and bland. Open table should also make it clear that the Sunday brunch is really a tawdry drag show so out of towners don't blunder into the tasteless, crass exhibition. Hated it
I had an amazing time for drag brunch. John, our waiter was stupendous!
It really depends on your mood! The noise level made it extremely difficult to communicate with the servers. I would try a different menu item if I were to return because the the bananas foster French toast was not the best. The DJ was awesome and entertaining and the performers were energetic.
Best hidden gem in Virginia Beach. Food is spectacular and absolutely worth the walk away from the oceanfront. Amazing wine list, great staff.
The entertainment was amazing ! The drinks and food exceed my expectations! I recommend that everyone try this place at least once because you'll want to come back
We went for the drag show brunch. The entertainment was great. The food was good. The service was wonderful. My only gripe..the music was way too loud. I left with a screaming head ache. Our table has a good time but we couldn't hear each other.
Turn down the volume and I'll be back.
Food was so worth eating away from the boardwalk!!!
The five pepper tuna is to die for, and the seafood risotto is perfect! Always a great place for an exceptional meal in a nice atmosphere...cheers!
Amazing service, food. Overall great experience
