It was nice and very good but there was a group with no reservation who wanted a table for 8 and then turned out to be 13 people. They were extremely rude and loud. It seemed that the stafe was trying to do all they could for them.

Disappointing. Although the service was good and the selection of beers great, the food was disappointing. I had the Steak Frite, and the meat was cold when it arrived, the sauce was room temperature. Overall i was disappointed and would not return or recommend for a meal, although i would stop by for a drink.

Very disappointed. We came for family dinner as our son was starting 2nd year at UofR. After driving for more than 800 km we were looking for a good place to eat. We came 10 minutes before our reservation time and while the restaurant was half empty it took hostess 10 min to acknowledge us and another 10 to come and talk to us. We were finally seated 25 minutes after our arrival. A waitress showed about 10 min later. We had order our drinks and we wanted to order appetizers waiter told us to wait until she comes back. She did 15 min later and told us specials. at that time I ordered cappuccino which came about 20 minutes later and looked more like steamed milk with hint of coffee than a real cappuccino. Appetizers were great and we thought that it was worth time that we spend waiting. our main course arrived about an hour or so after we placed the order which is unthinkable. If appetizers were worth waiting for, this was not. it took almost 2 1/2 hours from the time we got to the restaurant until we were done with our meals - or better say tried to finish our meals. Carbonara was tasteless, my wife meal was bellow shopping mall quality and vegetables in my chicken meal ($30) was raw and cold (it was supposed to be steamed and cover in a meal sauce). The waitress voluntarily took off coffee and appetizers of the bill and acknowledged that our main dishes were too late.

I have eaten at Crave several times. The service staff is courteous, knowledgeable and available when needed. The quality of the food is consistently delicious in taste and presentation. I love the patio. I tell anyone who asks that Crave is the best restaurant in the city.

I've visited Crave previously for a Business dinner and enjoyed the food an drink immensely. This time, I had my wife with me for her first trip to Regina so Crave was the restaurant I thought she would enjoy. The food was excellent and the wine and ambiance was what I remembered Definitely a restaurant to visit if you like good food, historic decor and a relaxing meal.
My husband and I had the two nightly specials, beef tri-tip and rack of lamb. Both were amazing! My mother had the Seafood Risotto and wasn't sharing so I can only assume it was delicious. My dad had the classic Steak & Frites and I almost got my hand slapped when trying to sneak a fry. Great cocktails and wine list. The Chocolate Torte was so decadent!
We were visiting Regina for the weekend and spending time with family we had not seen in some time. The hostess seemed confused by our online reservation. The quality of the Platter was very disappointing. The cheese, meat and accompaniments were the quality of something you would buy in your local grocery store deli and were extremely small portions. I have been to a great number of wine bars who serve cheese platters. They are always cheeses of high quality, imported meats and locally sourced accompaniments. You certainly won't find that at this restaurant. Better to stop at your local grocery store and make up your own - at least you won't be disappointed.
Delicious, as per usual
We went specifically to try their special menu for Regina Restaurant Week as we had experienced a couple of others. Their special menu was amazing and filling, all for $35. I was surprised that they didn't have a wine pairing option, though our server, Katie, was able to recommend something that went quite well with the food.
Another great meal!
Came here for my birthday supper and had to say we were very pleased again. It was a little louder than I remembered the last time but great atmosphere. My hubby ordered an old fashioned and he was happy to find the bartenders made it right. There are so many places that make it incorrectly. Our server was great and made some great suggestions for wine. The mussel appetizer was well done and the entrees were very tasty as always. Our server nicely brought me a birthday chocolate mousse and the presentation was well done. We will be back!
We went to Crave for our anniversary and really enjoyed the experience. We booked on-line and when we got there our table was waiting right by the window 😀 The waiter was excellent. He was attentive, but not over the top. The food was top notch. We were very happy we had chose the restaurant for this day.
This place was outstanding! Went at around 6 o'clock and there wasn't many people there at that time. The waiter was friendly and really good at his job. The food was phenomenal. I had the Saskatchewan quinoa salad and wow it's to die for. My girlfriend had the steak and again to die for. Highly recommended for couples to go! Classy place but like I said friendly environment

We were very happy to combine delicious dinners with the Vertigo Series at Crave last night! The special of the day was rack of lamb and it looked and smelled great (and tasted great when I had a sample). I chose the scrumptious salmon with risotto this time. The music was an accomplished guitarist and three poets gave readings. This was a special way to spend an evening! The next Vertigo Series evening at Crave will be October 22nd and we are looking forward to the wonderful food, memorable music and accomplished poets.
imaginative dedication to local food perfection
Cave's focus on locally - sourced food and support for local producers gives a terrific edge even before you walk in. Upon arrival the reception is quiet and discrete. The tables are not crowded together so there is space for all, even those using assisting devices. Every dish reflects a profound dedication to local 'terroir', showing southern saskatchewan at its very finest...local fish from Lake Diefenbaker, organic beef from dedicated local farmers...every opportunity is taken to showcase Saskatchewan. Service is joyful yet discrete and unobtrusive, with advice given when asked. Go and be delighted!
Went for lunch with a friend from out of town. Food was simply "okay". We have been there many times for supper when the food was exceptional . The bison was dry and over cooked and the bun was almost too hard to eat.
Beef brisket salad was good and the creme brûlée excellent as usual.

Did not like the food truck idea on Fridays. If I wanted to eat at a fridge truck I would have went to scarth street not made reservations at the restaurant. Disappointed. Had to leave the patio to order then wait until the food truck bellowed out your name and hope you heard it.
