My mom, brother and I (who love good food and travel often) took my picky and older grandparents to Crave and we all really enjoyed it. They had salads and the three of us had incredible sushi. I got the #9, and my mom and brother had the King Kong. Would highly, highly recommend both of these rolls! Our server was great and very patient with my grandfather who often complains about his beer if it's not full to the point of pouring over the sides of the glass. Great experience overall for two types of people who are hard to please!

My wife's miso soup was not hot. It was sent back and came back too salty. They comp'ed it. She has had it before though and it's been very good, so we are writing this off as a one-time problem. My chopped chicken salad was very good, but the sweetness needed to be cut a little - perhaps fewer dried cherries or maybe bleu cheese on it rather than fontina?

The quality of the food at Crave has declined dramatically over the past year. Too much pre-prepared food and not enough fresh. The "Italian sausage" in my penne dish was not fresh, but pre-prepared sausage meatballs, much like you would find in spaghettios. The taste of everyone's food was very bland and needed much seasoning. We're done with this place and it's a shame...

A TGIF on Steroids, great location but nothing special, especially the price points for Cincinnati.
But when in Cincinnati....guess it is high end? If you like the sports bar atmosphere then this is for you, if you want to go to a proper dining establishment, go elsewhere.

I have eaten at Crave a few times before for lunch or appetizers at dinner. Every time it was nice and we had good service. Today was different. Granted, it was busy because the Chicago Cubs were in town and there was a lot of people. But you would think the manager would know that some visiting teams bring in a large crowd. Nope! The waiter got to our table for the first time 15 minutes after we sat down and only after we asked for someone.
He took our beverage and food orders at the same time. Our beverages arrived about 10 minutes later and by 3 other individual wait-staff. Then our food arrived another 10 minutes later by the busboy. He didn't ask if we needed anything else even though our drinks were empty.
We ate our food which was good. We finished and still no waiter. We asked for the manager. Told her our experience and she was nice enough to take 20% off. Which we was happy with.
Just be careful on game nights.

Easily the worst meal I have ever had at Crave. Not sure what has changed but the prime rib was tough, the mashed potatoes tasteless without au gus and no opportunity to request more as our server was clearly over committed. The cheesecake was massive but also dry and flavorless. Clearly not up to the quality of the Mother's Day brunch we attend a year ago.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner on Father's Day. The all you can eat prime rib was outstanding. The Tataki Roll with steak was a wonderful twist on sushi. The truffle fries were a hit. Even the on the kids meal, we added bacon to the mac and cheese and it was devoured. The service was great, very quick and just the right amount of attention. Will definitely go back again.

Father's day prime rib was terrific and a great value! Our service was excellent and all of the entrees and appetizers were delicious. We dine at Crave about every other month but today was memorable. I really appreciate not being gouged for all you can eat prime rib for $24, cheap no, but affordable for a special occasion. See you soon Crave!

My family of 4 dined at this restaurant on Sunday June 19th at 5pm (Fathers Day) I must say that this restaurant exceeded our expectations. We has 2 children with us and our waiter Michelle (AMAZING SERVER) offered our boys fruit as the waited for their meal. This was a great touch! We both ordered the all you can eat Prime Rib special the food was great and when I needed my Prime rib cooked a little longer Michelle brought it back and it was perfect every time. Service was great, staff nice, I would for sure come back and dine at this restaurant again especially if Michelle is my server :)
Right across from ball park
Crave has a great location, directly across from the entrance to Great American Ball Park. If the ambient temperature is right, it's a great place to eat outdoors, and there is plenty of indoor space. I would describe the menu as "upscale pub food," and we liked it. Good drinks, attentive service. It isn't as popular as one might think because it is relatively pricey.
No Late Nite Hours???
Went with a group of 10 people to CRAVE before a Friday nite Reds Game. Great food, great service, etc. However, when we stopped by after the Game at 10.30pm, the place was already locked up tight. 10.30pm on a Friday? and right across from the Reds Stadium on a game nite??? Ridiculous!

My daughter had her high school graduation that evening so we were in a time crunch . The staff was very pleasant and worked quickly to serve us so that we could be on our way. The waiter even brought her a dessert as a special "gift" for her graduation. We had never been to Crave before but completely enjoyed the dining experience. The food was terrific and the customer service excellent. We will be back.

Two of the three of us thought our meals were very good, but the third had the Korean bowl and it was a disappointment this time. Having had it just a few weeks ago and enjoying it, the person ordered it again and it simply was not the same dish! It seems, if we understood the waiter correctly, it is not always prepared the same which doesn't make much sense to us. Another in our group had the same dish, but not having had it before liked it. One thing not in the dish this time was the kale and more vegetables.
A definite come back
We came in for Mother's Day, four women and a little boy. The spicy Bloody Mary was the best mix by far that I have had in Cincinnati! The variety of food was awesome. My steak was cooked medium well when I asked for medium rare but our server Lee was awesome and the matter was quickly fixed. If and when I return to visit crave Lee will be my first request, on a stressful holiday as it was he was very nice and attentive. 👍🏻
Better quality control needed
We were seated as soon as we arrived at our reserved time. The staff was very attentive and playful. Our choice of the package meal including wine was explained to us in detail. My husbands meal came out piping hot, mine not so. The pasta was lukewarm at best and one of the chicken breasts had cartilage on the back and was very difficult to cut. Though the waitress said she would replace it, I couldn't have eaten it all so I just pushed it to the side. Odd how one meal was so good and the other wasn't. Other than that issue, I would visit Crave again. But now I know what not to order.....

Drinks were meh.... felt like they under-poured.
My wings would have been awesome if they had been prepared "well-done" as requested.
They came to me with the mushy, yellow, fat globules still in tact. Nasty. I pulled off all of the skin before eating them. I wanted to ask my waitress to put them in the microwave, but I clammed up and ate them anyway.
What a waste.
The sauce and blue cheese were great though....
My family seemed to like their meals.
Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. She took care of me in terms of my food allergies. She stopped me from eating the truffle fries because they were made in the same oil as the calamari.
Overall, it's a nice atmosphere... very pretty decor. They just need to make the food however the customer has requested it to be made.
Not before a Reds game or US Bank event!
They were not prepared for the rush before the Reds game and the circus at US Bank arena, Surprising since the Reds have 62 home games. Either hire more wait staff, bartenders and cooks for the 6-7 pm time frame or tell folks you can't take or fulfill their order.. Having to eat your nice/expensive dinner in 10 minutes is not my idea of fine dining.....and then don't tell someone you will adjust their bill only to have the waitress bring an unadjusted one.....just one more delay in a disappointing evening.
Great service recovery
There were a few hiccups during our visit... My colleague had a piece of plastic in his stir fry and another colleague got a spicy roll after she had explicitly requested a non-spicy sauce. The restaurant gave her a new roll and didn't charge us for my colleague's stir fry - and they also bought all 6 of us free dessert. The food arrived quickly and the variety of the menu is amazing (everything from sushi to stir fry to pizza to sandwiches to an amazing salmon entree I had).

I was very disappointed. This was a very special 60th birthday celebration for my husband (which I mentioned in the reservation). Something my son and husband wanted to drink which was on the menu, they didn't have. We were very excited to order an appetizer, they were out of that. I ordered the sea bass with cauliflower mash which had absolutely NO taste at all. I even commented to the waiter that if you were out of the sea bass we were not staying and maybe we shouldn't have. Most restaurants would offer at least a dessert to the celebrating person (at least every upper class restaurant I have been to in Cincinnati) but they did nothing to even acknowledge this special occasion. Also, the steak my son ordered had a large vein of gristle running right through the middle of it. It was a big night and I am very sorry this is the option that I chose.
