Sword fish special was equivalent to going to the freezer section at the grocery store and getting a precooked piece of fish and taking it home and throwing it in the oven for a few minutes. Very bland and untasteful. Disappointing.

First time ever experience:
Wine tasting: That was just great! And very educational and we were EAGER to take on a membership. The wine server was SO wonderful and amiable ~ she made us WANT to become members. And when we tasted the "COLLABORATION" --- well, enough said. Also, the Sauvignon Blanc was out of this world!!! We were enchanted with the experience and couldn't wait for more...Then my cell phone began to ring --- it was the hostess looking for us! How cool is that?
Food: Took EVERYONE'S advice and ordered the (appetizer) Egg Rolls. TOO GOOD TO EVEN BEGIN TO DESCRIBE. ~ Our entrees took a dive, though: Cod was cold and fries were, too. Medallion Trio was only tasty if you liked the topping. They SUNK the filet medallion under the toppings--- and the toppings were, well, actually bland...and the mushrooms and veggies were just LOADED with oiliness. And the grouper...well, just DON'T order it!
The pretzel bread is delicious!
Server: Our server was SO personable and knowledgeable...I THINK he tried to get me away from ordering the grouper, but I wanted it so badly. Couldn't eat it... DO NOT order this if you're thinking about a fresh, light and fluffy fish...it's just smothered in some crusty, oily stuff and takes more like a sardine. It's flat, and just NOT in any way delectable.
Dessert: Well, we weren't going to order any, but our server said this very impressive to thing us: "I just spoke to the manager about your discontent for the grouper... We want to end your meal on a "high note!" Choose a dessert of your choice, on the house.
So we did: ORDER the upside Key Lime Pie at your EARLIEST convenience.!
I have to mention one last thing.: Our tab was 61.00. My husband looked at me and said, "Do you realize we spend MORE than this when we order out???"
POINT TAKEN. We will be back next week...

Very upset with this visit to Coopershawk. Been going to the different ones for years. This was the worst meal that I have ever had at CH. I ordered the Filet Trio, which is what I usually order. I order it medium well. I think I got it medium rare. And my filets and my broccoli were iced cold. My potatoes were the only item on my page hot. I actually stuffed myself on bread and desert and took my meal home to try and cure it in the toaster oven by warming it up and burning it. That didnt even help it much. The worst meal that I ever had at Coopershawk. Very upset but did not want to make a scene.

Seated fairly quickly---had a 5:00 reservation; in by 5:20.
There were at least 7 empty tables, so not sure why the wait. Friendly server who asked if we needed anything immediately when food was presented. Needed to stop by after a few minutes to see if we had everything.... could have been more attentive. Fish and fries were good---cole slaw was excellent. overall nice evening out at Cooper's.

Great service and great food! Our server was patient, friendly and very kind. There were 4 of us, we each ordered something different, and all enjoyed each of the items. It is a cozy atmosphere, but did get a little loud toward the end of the evening.

I gave the review "very good", but I feel it needs an * after. I have eaten at the restaurant at least a dozen times because I like the food. However, every time I go there, I feel like a "complainer". This last experience was no different. We sat down at a table which smelled like a dirty rag. I truly hate that smell! They moved us to a table where the smell was not as pungent. My daughter had a menu that had something sticky and slimy on it where the pages were stuck together. My ahi tuna appetizer was really good, except I asked for no wasabi, and when I received the first dish, it had no visible wasabi on top of the tuna, but had dollups of it underneath. Of course, they rectified the situation, but something seems to happen every time!

We always enjoy our trips to CooperS Hawk and this was no exception. A bit noisier on Saturday night than on a weeknight but not overwhelmingly so. The staff is great, always friendly and helpful and we love the team approach to service.

Excellent food. The service was awesome. Loved the pork belly taco appetizers. The waitress couldn't of been more accommodating. My wife and I were celebrating our 23 weeding anniversary and had a great time. We can't wait to come back to try some more items on the menu.

The food is good - creative, well-prepared, tasty. The wine? No so much. We tasted a lot of red wines before dinner. I could find NONE that were enjoyable. But I am a semi-wine-geek, so maybe i'm more critical than the average customer. We have made multiple trips to Napa and Sonoma over the years, and have built a wine cellar that once topped out at 1500 bottles. My guess is that Coopers Hawk is using a bulk process to make their wine, not all of which ever sees the inside of an oak barrel. My other guess is that 90% of their customers are not anywhere close to wine critics, never read Spectator or Advocate, and are merely infatuated with "restaurant-made wine". Kind of like the allure of restaurants that make their own beer. Yes, the wine IS drinkable, but if it were available in the retail channel, I would avoid it. Over-priced for the quality.

We went for an early dinner, 4pm. Upon being seated there were quite a few waiters/waitresses but no one really claimed our table. Finally a male waiter came and helped us with drinks but afterwards did not come back. Our appetizer was served by a runner and then a female waitress appeared stating she was really the one that was suppose to be helping us for the night. She explained that she was extremely busy and she would do her best. We noticed that she had 2 other tables but not really anything that she should not be able to handle. We have been there several times over the past 6 months and by far this was the worse service we have ever received. Forgotten about during most of the dinner and others were picking up her slack. There were to many staff there to not have any attention, we left full but not satisfied with our meal due to this.

This visit I just ordered an appetizer. It came without the items listed in the description. I should have said something. Not a big deal. But then I believed the price was higher than listed on the menu. Overall, the food is good. The service is consistent and pleasant. I will probably be back, but I will definitely be more aware of the prices and food descriptions in future visits.

Great service, mediocre food. Grouper was way over cooked, Mary's potatoes were just plain, bland mashed potatoes, asparagus was just blanched and bland, just very disappointed with that dish. My wife's shrimp & polenta dish was great! Calamari was drenched in sweet chili sauce, just way too much to enjoy.... Creme brûlée was great, good espresso...

We love coming to Cooper's Hawk. Even the kids love the food. Unfortunately, on this visit our car was broken into and the kids' backpacks with their school laptops inside were taken through the smashed rear passenger window. This all happened right in front of the valet stand. Food is great, but I would not recommend this location to anyone at this point.

I haven't had this bad of an experience in awhile. It started with my table being cleaned haphazardly. Looked over that! I ordered soup and it was tepid at best. I unwrapped my silverware and it was filthy! It made me wonder did a machine or a robot do the job. My meal came, I love gnocchi carbonara, it was over salted. Just a bad night. I love CH, I'm a wine club member. I'm sad that I used my points on such an awful experience.
