Wow, this place was really good in every way. The food and service were amazing. Very popular place and was full of beautiful women (yes, that's worth mentioning). Been looking for an Italian restaurant that could really satisfy my taste buds and this one hit the spot.

When we arrived at the restaurant we were immediately shown to our table and greeted by our server. As the room filled up it got quite loud. Dinner was served before our appetizer plates were removed and in fact were left for the duration of the meal, not impressed with that. Service was good overall, not great. A lot of energy in the room. I would go back again.

I ordered a dish that was like a big ravioli with lamb inside when I took my first bite I said to my wife it tasted like beef stew , she tried it and said the same thing , wasn't impressed with that particular dish . I will go back but will try my first choice on the menu spaghetti with meat balls

Very dark inside but a nice ambiance. Food was amazing but I experienced an upset stomach after having the lamb pappardelle. The lamb pieces were quite fatty which was sort of distasteful, but the rest of the dish was delicious. Our waiter was slightly lacking in professionalism, but was very honest about the menu which was refreshing. She clearly wanted us to try the best items as it was our first time there.

I came to Cibo for my boyfriend's birthday. I love the open kitchen, the decor and how quickly we were seated at our table.
After we got our table it took 20 minutes before anyone came to our table to ask if we were ok or to offer water. The person who came to our table wasn't even suppose to be our server, she saw that no one came by to see us so she stepped in. The server who was suppose to be with us never came by to apologize for not coming by even though she was tending to the tables surrounding us. I am grateful for the server we did have because she was nice and made the experience a little more enjoyable.
The food came in a timely manner but the pasta dishes that we both ordered were salty and oily and we did not enjoy them. The glasses of wine are overpriced but good nonetheless.
Overall I would not recommend this restaurant and I do not think I will go back.

Very romantic cute place! I took my boyfriend there for his birthday, we both enjoyed it very much! Food is good, service is a little slow but the staff was very nice and kept reminding us that our food will be our shortly. Overall a great experience and would visit Cibo again!

Our waitress did not time our food properly, we were still in the middle of eating our appetizer and she took our share plates away before we finished to deliver our mains.
The food is consistent here which is important and ambiance is always uplifting.

Table was small for the 4 ppl I reserved for. Constant moving of food trays to make room for either more food or drinks. Service was excellent, she knew her stuff and was great. Food was disappointing to be honest. Apps were quite good but main courses were off. Cannelloni had a very lemony taste to it for some reason and Veal was very bland. Risotto was the only entree worth eating.
I have always enjoyed Cibo however to be honest, I may not be so quick to book there again.

Once again Cibo on King was wonderful! The atmosphere, the food and the service were, as always, outstanding. Our server, Jenna, was on the ball, quick and very attentive. I am looking forward to the next time!!! :)

Had yet another great meal at Cibo! Service and food are always consistently fabulous. Grilled calamari on bed of salad is one of my favourites on the menu - also recommend any and all of their pizzas. Wash it down with a glass of wine, and you're all set for a great meal.

We had a wonderful dinner at Cibo! The wait staff were very knowledgeable of the menu, especially the wine listings. Would definitely recommend this spot to friends. We were able to find $10 parking a short walk around the corner.

The linguine with a "whole" lobster was some linguine with a little lobster on top with 2 halves of a tiny tail and a piece of claw.. Would not have ordered it if I knew that.
Enjoyed the appetizers.
The waitress (Olivia) was pleasant until she gave us the bill (when we asked for bills) and then was cranky and snippy for the last five minutes.

No wine list presented by the server at the table,I had to ask for one.Even though I had a half full bottle of still water on the table the server topped up our glasses with tap water.Porcini Risotto very salty.Nice ambience and great for a date however service and food can be improve.

Overall the service was good EXCEPT for the staff at the front desk. I asked about Valet parking which I was told on the phone was available, but no one knew about it. Also I checked in - I had a reservation - but that was promptly forgotten. I had to check in again about ten minutes later. It was not a good beginning to the evening. The reception staff needs to be better trained.

I chose to celebrate my 30tb birthday at Cibo because of the selection it offers as well as it has everything I wanted for my birthday, cheese, wine, bread, pasta and I thought Tiramsu. Unfortunately I think our server was new and became overwhelmed as we did not see him for long periods of time and dessert was never offered. Therefore, I did not get the Tiramsu I was looking forward to.

This is a nice resto. It has about the same menu as the Ciao Wine Bar that was n Yorkville until it closed. Same owners, same good food, but I do miss some of my regular servers from the Yorkville location.
This is a good place to go. Highly recommend it. Make reservations.
