tHE FOOD WAS WONDERFUL, AND THE STAFF WAS VERY ATTENTIVE EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE BUSY. bEST TO HAVE A RESERVATION.
Chianti Grill is always a go-to spot for us when we are entertaining out of town guests, business colleagues or just the two of us for a night out! The food is great, the staff are super friendly and we always enjoy our time there!
My birthday, I didn’t get my coupon for my discount, but they just looked me up, got my discount and my dessert! Love it there!
Great food and service, as always. Shrimp cannelloni is exceptional!
Service was very slow. Server was pleasant, but forgot bread basket until we had to remind her. Our meal took longer than two other, larger groups near us who had similar orders (app, salads, main course) but had been seated significantly after us.
It seems like the
Went on fathers day and they only offered a buffet. Made reservations through Open
Table as everyone else. I guess they had so many large parties that they could not allow us to sit at a table with chairs.
As for the food. The prime rib was chewy. The chicken was dry. No chair seating for my elderly father that could not keep getting up to get food or for the inside seated person. People stood in a long line to go through a small space for the buffet. My father could not stand that long and the buffet space was very hard for the extra person to help carry the plate for my father. They did offer a lot of different pastries and desserts but for my elderly parents who do not eat to many sweets this was not a good choice of buffet. I expected better and more for the price. The one nice thing that happened was the server recognized that my parents did not eat much because of the situation and took off half of one of the meals for them. Not a happy fathers day experience
We had a great evening; our server was very attentive, and not hovering.
Beer glass was broken; server kept saying "be right back"; we were celebrating 2 birthdays and Father's Day; food was just "ok" but nothing special. Wouldn't recommend to the "foodies" in our families. Came because we had 3 gift cards - have 2 left, may re-gift.
Tasty food as always. Excellent service. We do wish, however, that menu options would change periodically. Would love to try some new entrees. Especially, more seafood and fresh fish choices would be welcomed.
Chianti is are favorite restraunt, but we were a little disappointed with are waiter. He didn't bring bread to the table. He never came and offered cheese or cracked pepper for are salads. We had to ask for everything.
He never even checked back on us.This has never happened to us before
Great service and food will definately recommend for all.
I was having lunch with a friend from out of town that I see only rarely. We were given a booth in the back out of the way. Landon followed our lead and was helpful but not intrusive knowing we wanted to talk. After 4 hours of getting caught up we left feeling very satisfied with the experience.
We went for my birthday, and everything was fantastic. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I've been here before, and I'll definitely return. I highly recommend.
Eating here is always such a delightful experience. Usually we go for dinner, but today we went for a late lunch, at 2pm right after brunch finished. My husband had the Chicken Parmesean and I treated myself to the Capellini al Gamberetti, as I have loved it in the past. It always has incredible flavor with garlic, basil, tomatoes, olive oil, & lemon. Sitting atop of a delicious mountain of angel hair pasta are about 20 perfectly-cooked shrimp. Absolutely divine!! The well-trained & personable servers top off the experience. Another superior meal!
The service was excellent and the food was as good as previous visits. We were seated immediately and greeted warmly by are server. One negative, the hostess could have been a little friendlier, she didn't seem to be enjoying her job that much. Overall a good experience.
Chianti Grill has the best Hendricks Martini! The food was excellant; there were 4 of us, we had Chicken Marsala (my personal fave), the Filet Special, & Pasta dishes. The Appetizers (Calamari & Beef Tips) were perfect. Suzanne, our Server was attentive & simply appeared when we needed her.
We were close to the main dining area, and it was loud & noisy...a very busy evening! Thoroughly enjoyed our experience; we are repeat customers & we will go back to Chianti Grill in Burnsville, MN again! Thank you!
We go there often. Great for Sunday brunch, lunch with friends, and romantic dinners.
Always good food and service. My favorite restaurant.
We regularly dine at Chianti Grill because it is so convenient to where we live and always can get a reservation the time we need on Open Table. Food has always been well prepared and tasty. One can't go wrong with a trip to this restaurant!
Good food---Good fun---Good service. The brunch was very good.
Perfect evening. Excellent food, service and drinks.
Welcoming and personable wait staff. Excellent bread. Enjoyed Peronie beer and Chianti wine (without fava beans). Chicken Parmesan was excellent, the spaghetti was over cooked and the marinara sauce was blah. Margarita pizza was great. The ambiance of the place is great.
Ordered their sangria specialuty cocktail and it was a very refreshing treat on a hot day.
For a starter we shared the crab cakes. They were good but not part of an upper echelon the coating wasn't what I enjoy but they're still my favorite app.
I ordered the seafood risotto and it lived up to a speciality. Everything was cooked just right and it was just splendid.
No dessert this time.
I'd highly recommend Chianti grill to anyone in the area. Probably the best entree I've had south of the cities here
The most expensive Happy Hour I ever had. Over $76.00 for two for Happy Hour.
They messed up both my order and my spouse's order, but they did correct it. Food was good and they gave us each a free dessert.
We've been coming here for a number of years. The food is consistently good, service is excellent, nice ambiance. Great value overall.
Overall was a good dinner, server wasn’t great she questioned us when we ordered our beverages, and made us feel that we shouldn’t have ordered our drinks. Than was inattentive to us, when asked for cheese and pepper, she never came back when we brought it up she acted like we were in wrong. Wasn’t a busy night dining room was almost empty and we were on the patio. We were there to celebrate buying our house and love Chianti and wanted to check out the patio. Will be back just disappointed in the service.
Warm greeting upon arrival. Our table was ready and we were seated a few minutes prior to our reservation. Prompt friendly greeting by our server. Pacing was perfect from cocktails and appetizers through salad and wine and entrees. Dessert was the amazing carrot cake. Chianti Grill always feels like a celebration even on a regular date night. I would love to acknowledge the server by name but that was the only miss of the evening. She was awesome but did not introduce herself.
Enjoyed a leisurely lunch with our granddaughter. Highlight was the bruschetta which we all loved. Lunches were excellent, too. Lasagna is outstanding.
20th wedding anniversary. Everything was great, just the room was warm and humid. We mentioned it and nothing seemed to be done. We would have stayed for dessert, but it was too warm.
Birthday celebration and we all had the buffet, which was good, but I couldn’t believe the coffee was barely warm and we were one of the first people there. It should be hot hot hot at that time of the morning and especially since we were there right after you opened for the day. Thanks.
ease in making reservations, close to home, friendly and welcoming staff, wide choice of wine, great lunch and dinner menu, but you have to ask for breadsticks!
Some food was better than others. I guess the worst part was the special prime rib was raw...like fleshy raw. Value for the rest of the food was marginal. You can find better for less. Wife ordered a glass of wine. Don’t use a giant glass and fill it 1/4 full. It shows how poor the dishwasher is. At that price, you’d think they’d take the time to make the glass spotless.
Service was good until after order was taken. I don’t mind other people bringing out the food, but when you have to flag someone down to get the bill is not good.
We were there for Mother's day and enjoyed the time together. The waitress was helpful and cheerful. She was very attentive. We both had Italian classics. They were NOT disappointing. We did not feel rushed or hassled even though the crowd was large for a mid Sunday afternoon.
Cool ambiance, but the food was a bit overpriced for the quality. You're better off going to an actual Italian place in Minneapolis, and still pay less.
May 13, 2018. Bacon, waffle , breakfast potato and pizza trays empty. Roast beef/ prime rib bloody red and cold , not eatable. Scrambled eggs “COLD”!
Thank you for another awesome Mother’s Day brunch. We have been eating at Chianti Grill for years and years and the reason we continue to go back is because it is one of the only restaurants that we frequent that is consistently awesome. Awesome food, awesome service, and awesome ambiance.
I’m returning tomorrow for another lunch with friends and we will be back in a few weeks to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, just like we have celebrated all of our birthdays as well. This is our favorite restaurant for most of our celebrations.
If you haven’t tried Chianti Grill you need to soon.
Good food, good service and nice relaxing atmosphere!
