Too hip for my blood. Waited 45 minutes to be seated after my 8pm reservation on OpenTable. I was there at 8:00pm exactly with entire party and was given a pager and told to wait in very warm bar area. Pager went off, I went to front where I was ignored in lieu of other patrons complaining, etc. was taken to table and noticed open/empty tables throughout the restaurant. Food was meh for the cost. Won't be back.

Service was attentive, but the 4th floor was extremely noisy with tables of (mostly) women literally screaming at each other. I took my companion there for a special occasion (she lives in Boston) and I was disappointed with the food. It took a very long time to arrive, and the dishes were unimpressive, especially the desserts. Definitely not a good value, and we didn't even order alcohol since I was driving and my companion didn't want to drink alone. I tried Catch in the context of Restaurant Week, and would not go back, nor would I recommend Catch.

The food was good (not amazing, but good). The service was disinterested at best. We were seated 30 mins late on a Tuesday night, it took forever to get menus and drinks, and the team was unbelievably aggressive about taking plates away. Huge pet peeve.

The food here is awesome. Definitely pricey, but overall a great experience. Our server was awesome. My one complaint is that the hostess was very rude to us. She was also rude to the person in front of us waiting for their table. Just a suggestion to be a little friendlier as this place is awesome and many people are excited about dining here!

Dinner was amazing and our waiter Alex was excellent. We had to wait a bit for our table and had some drinks at the bar, and the service at the bar was not a very positive experience. They measure the alcohol in their drinks, which is not cool for a place that charges NYC prices, but that in and of itself was fine. What wasn't fine was that the bartender had an attitude. She acted like she was so pretty so she could use that as an excuse to not be nice. Still don't want to take anything away from the dining experience, as the food was great and service at the table was outstanding.

We came to Catch to celebrate a special occasion and I regret choosing this place after reading all the positive reviews. The restaurant itself is spacious and beautiful, especially the garden. Our request to be seated outside was granted, which was probably the only good thing about our experience. The food is tasty, but the portions are tiny for the price you pay. I did not find any pieces of lobster in the mac & cheese and the lobster rolls are the tiniest I've ever seen. Our server seemed to be the only one working outside, but despite being busy he had time to stand and entertain one of the tables with stories about his tattoos and jewelry. I had to call him a few times to ask for another drink and for another set of silverware as he took one away while we still had a pending food order. I might seem like a picky annoying customer that everyone hates, but the thing is that I've myself worked as a server for six years and am not the kind to stop you every 5 five minutes for something. All I want are basic things such as silverware on the table and not having to call a server for drink refills since he never stops by your table. Additionally, our check had three extra drinks on it, which is probably a result of the server's lack of attention. Basically, I feel like we paid for a name and got mediocre food and subpar service. Very disappointed.

Catch completely exceeded my expectations. Every single dish we ate was fantastic, down to the Catch Roll and the smores pizza for dessert (a must have!) Our waiter was fantastic and knowledgeable about the menu. As the evening progressed the restaurant got very lively and loud, so if you are looking for a quiet romantic spot this is probably not the best fit.

Rude host, we had to wait a long time while sitting at the end of the bar with underage girls to finally found ourselves, knowing that we had a reservation, in a room with a dirty table in the upper level with already drunk people that were too loud to even think about having dinner in this atmosphere
Thanks god the neighborhood is great and we end up having a table across the street at Bagatelle with a great services, great music and a better clientele

It took over 30 minutes before we got service at our table. We were handed menus and than ignored for 30 minutes. No water, no manager, nobody telling us somebody would help us soon. We got up and left. When we told management about this on the way out, they just said fine. They didn't offer us anything to asked us to stay. It was disgusting that lack of customer service that they provided. No wonder all of heir other restaurants have gone out of business. I would never recommend this restaurant to anybody after the way I was treated.

The food and ambiance were good. However I left disappointed because it was my girlfriends birthday and I called the receptionist Danielle prior to let them know. She said as long as we order a desert she would be sure to send out a candle and such. But this didn't happen. I ordered it a desert and it came out with NOTHING. I complained to the hostess and she was nice enough to give us champagne but it was still awkward. Will never do a birthday or special occasion here ever.

Excellent service and great atmosphere. Our waitress was amazing and gave us some excellent choices of food to order. We were taken to our table within 5 minutes of arriving, and the ladies at the front desk were extremely polite and welcoming to us.
Great atmosphere as all the servers were very friendly and attentive, taking the finished plates away but allowing a proper period of time to pass, so very relaxed and pleasant dinning.
Food looked great and was amazing to eat, many congrats to the Chef's, thank you.

Scallop and truffle gnocchi were delicious. The fish was incredible.
Food was great, the drinks weren't anything special, especially for NYC. Waiter was rude and not very friendly.
Great scene and great food. Mediocre drinks. Waiter shouldn't really be a waiter with that personality.

Food was absolutely delicious, but after waiting 20 minutes for the waiter he brought out a "free" shrimp dish which he charged us for in the end. Waiter was horrifically slow and had an attitude. Otherwise, great food, location and ambiance.

Bad service, the waiter forgot to deliver an appetizer, slow delivery of the food despite the restaurant not being full. Atop ant hostesses. Bottom line a place for a drink if you want to drop lots of $$$ but otherwise avoid
