This was the best experience yet at Catch. From the hostess to the server, excellent service. The food is consistently good. And they were very accommodating and remembered that we were there for a special occasion. Thanks Catch!

Restaurant is certainly a hot spot. We had a reservation and had to wait an additional 30 minutes. When they said they were ready with the "beeper" they weren't and had to scramble for another 10 minutes to find us a table.

We had a 9pm booking, so arrived on time. After waiting 15 minutes to talk to an attendant, we were then handed a buzzer which would let us know when our table was ready. We waited almost an hour for our table to be ready!! By this time we were starving and tired from standing in a little corner, so naturally were unimpressed. Once seated up stairs, our hostess was amazing and the food was great which somewhat outweighed the waiting time.

Amazing food, amazing place. The only problem is the waiting time. Every time we go to 'Catch' and book a table in advance, we still need to wait 30-40 minutes to our table. It's a well known fact in this restaurant and fells like their time is much important than ours.

Despite having an 8:15pm dinner reservation on Wednesday, we were not seated for well over an hour. I had reserved two tables to celebrate my daughter's birthday....one for adults and the second for my daughter and her friends. The wait time was unacceptable. The restaurant should honor their reservation times. We should have been offered a complimentary something for the major inconvenience.

My last experience at Catch was very unpleasant. The staff was simply not happy that night, so the ambiance was not welcoming.
Our waiter was nice, but he was trying to manipulate our order since the kitchen was out of a lot of the food on the menu. They did not have 50% of the choices on the entree menu! They did not have ANY fish available on the entree menu, which was very upsetting since we went to Catch because of the fish choices we usually get. Our waiter also ordered sushi for us before our consent.
Whatever food came to the table was simply boring and bland.
At some point, our waiter had to go home and said another waitress was going to be responsible for our table. She never showed up. We literally asked one of the bus boys for the check.
That was definitely not a good night.
I'm not planning to go back there anytime soon.

I arrived at 21h35 for a 21h30 reservation. They told me they were a bit behind schedule and gave a buzzer to be called when the table would be ready. When asked about the possible waiting time, they didn't want to answer. When asked how many tables were ahead of us, they didn't want to answer. All this in a pretty unrespectful way "either you accept it or can leave"! I discovered that many people/groups were in the same situation and some had been waiting there for over 30 minutes.
Basically for them a reservation is not a reservation and treating clients well is the last of their concern. To AVOID.

I've dined at Catch for dinner several times before but this was my first time coming for lunch. I was disappointed that lunch seating was on the 4th floor and not regular part of restaurant. Also, there were no signs indicating that in the very dark entrance/elevator. I was literally riding the elevator up and down with no one to ask for help. The 4th floor is more lounge-like and the bright sunlight definitely showed all matters of dust, stains and the the like. Also, there was a very loud toddler that the staff did nothing to address. Not recommended for lunch as the room and seating options are not desirable. The shabbiness is also magnified in the bright light.

We had a reservation at 9, it was made 7 days before, they could not seat us because "there was a lot of people" there were more than 15 tables eqiting in our same situation, we finally seated at the 2nd floor in fron of the kitchen, water served us water and for 20 minutes did not appear, we left the restaurant.

We tried a variety of dishes from the menu; some were hits and others not good at all i.e. Maui and short rib tacos. The lobster was very good, but the sauce was overly sweet. Would have preferred it au natural. Sides were a yawn.
The atmosphere is good, but a bit of a scene. Lively, beautiful people.

All the fish dishes our group ordered were very good. The food is nice. The service was very choppy. My salad entree came out with all the appetizers. And I waited for the rest of the food to arrive. Waiter was unclear on what sides came with what entree. There was a prix fix lunch menu that was a good value. But the rule was that the whole table needed to order from the fixed menu -- all or none. So what might have been a reasonable lunch bill of $200 for 7 people ended up being $420. Not sure Catch was worth it.

Would not seat us when only two of 3 people had arrived. Sent into bar with throbbing loud music. Manager said music in dining room the same when we complained. It was the same but it was softer and our guest (hard of hearing) had no trouble conversing.
My wife ordered Swordfish the was inedible. She was to shy to send it back.
Wont be going back there for a while
