The service was a bit slow at first but then once our waiter did come by if was fine. They bring an assorted bread basket to the table, nice. The portions are large and meant for sharing. The meatballs were very tender and tasty. Unfortunately we had no room for dessert because they looked very yummy. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Michael was an excellent server. He was waiting on a high maintenance table and never skipped a beat!! I wish more waitstaff were as personable as he was. Dinner of mixed seafood was so good. Baked clams were slightly too browned but the meatball was really good. Again, Michael made our 2nd experience at Carmine’s just as special as the first.
The Caeser salad and Chicken Marsala were perfectly prepared and expertly presented.
We were entertaining our company employees and some speakers (total of 12)--not including two children in tow. It was a great casual environment, and we loved the food. Best gluten free pasta we have ever had. The portions blow your mind, but it is meant to be family style and you should expect to take left overs back to your hotel. Flourless cake was gluten-free and amazing. Even the gluten lovers at the table were jealous. Cappuccino was sooo good I ordered two, and our 1.5L bottle of table wine was gone early (very yummy). The calamari was not gluten-free, but the gluten lovers raved about how it melted in their mouth. Just perfectly cooked. The porter-house platter was melt in your mouth--worth every penny and then some. The salads were even noteworthy--both were gluten free. Servers were attentive and sooo patient. We even had room to put a stroller next to the table to keep our 3 year old happy and comfortable as the evening got late. Oh yes...and the tiramisu was delicious. The stain in our picture was a beer one of people in our group spilled, but the staff replaced the beer at no charge--thank you:).
Pay attention. The portions are huge. Definitely appropriate for a group setting with a shared meal. Excellent quality and authenticity. A little noisy, but hey, it's Italian eating in a group setting.
Really good experience. Daniel, our server was outstanding.
Amazing! Perfect for a large group! The servings are meant to be shared. Service was phenomenal and our food was delicious!
First time eating there was last night. Amazing food! Huge portions will feed three people. Delicious is an understatement.
We had the lasagna, and it melts in your mouth. No joke.
Service was attentive, and manager dropped by to check on our experience. That was an added plus.
We were not disappointed, and I recommend Carmine's over Scarpetta and Rao's. I am looking forward to my next visit. This could be my go to place any time I'm on The Strip.
Muy buen lugar, platos para compartir, buen precio muy buena calidad
They sat us at a table that might as well have been out in the mall. The service was stilted and poor. We were having a team dinner for 10. Not the place to go
Pasta was not good undercooked.
A winner every time. Come hungry a s prepared to share some great Italian food!
My husband and I went before seeing a show. The service was great and good wait time after we ordered. The dish was very tasty! We knew it was family style, but OMG...we split a dinner and it was still enough to feed six people! We had them box up our leftovers and three homeless people enjoyed a warm meal.
Food and service was good. Great ambiance. We were celebrating two 21 st birthdays with a party of 12 and were seated upstairs in a great location. My only complaint is that Carmines doesn't offer a personal slice of cake with a candle like most restaurants do. :(
All family style. Don’t go there as a couple’
No individual portion meals.
Over priced salad & meal
Fabtastic. Huge portions, food is excellent.
The food was perfect, the staff was fantastic. I will be back. Love that you can go with 2-4 or 24 people.
This was our first time dining with Carmine's and our meal was SUPER salty. This is coming from some travelers from the Midwest, who are not unfamiliar with the salt shaker. However, this dish was far too salty for us to even enjoy. I'm not sure if we just received a bad batch, but certainly wouldn't recommend to anyone after our experience.
It was amazing! Great food and great service
Carmines is exceptional, go with a big appetite and take your friends! All dishes served family style (unless you eat at the bar) so every plate serves 2-4 people. I've eaten at Carmine's in NYC and Las Vegas and they are both great. Cocktails are nice too! Meatballs are to die for. Don't miss out on them!
We did not have a good experience at Carmine’s. The food was overpriced and not very good. The servings were so large our family of four shared one entree and an appetizer and barely made a dent in our food. Our server went MIA halfway through our meal and we eventually had to ask another server for our check. Carmine’s is probably a great option for large groups or larger families.
I have been to Carmines in Washington DC and Atlantic City, so Vegas was a must attend. I usually set up the chicken parm with a pasta & sauce and the caesar salad. At the Vegas adventure our server talked up a chicken rosetta platter with 'chicken parm', roasted potatoes and some grilled veggies underneath. Sad to say it was underwhelming. The plate was way overpriced at $55, the chicken was not breaded hence very dry with the parm on top and six very small pieces. The roasted potatoes that ringed the platter barely fed the four of us. And the veggies were not cooked through. The pasta and caesar salad were stellar. And the happy hour at the bar was worth attending in advance of our dinner reservation.
We were 12 for dinner and Cody was the best. Our friends from out of state loved it!
Great for a group (6+); no so much for a couple due to the family sized servings. Absolutely have to share. Didn't know this going in. That being said, food was very good as was the service.
Not a good restaurant for 2-person dining by design. Menu is great for large parties. Steaks are expensive even by Vegas standards.
My second time here and had a very good meal and experience.
Will be back next time I’m in town.
Cheers from Texas y’all
Food was amazing. Service was world class. Parties of less than four should consider sitting at the bar because they are not kidding when they say table service is a family sized portion! Got enough Chicken Parmesan to feed a family of 6! We sure did enjoy trying to eat as much as we could, then we waddled back to the hotel!
Carmine's never disappoints! We had constant changes with the amount of attendees for our dinner and Carmine's was amazingly flexible and understanding (we had 18 in the end). The waiter was incredible with our large crowd and went out of his way to get every dish out of every course at the perfect time and hot. He helped us choose the perfect amount of food too so there was little to no waste.
The size of the dinner plates are to big. Take care whit the order. Which plate serve three people. We are six people and we ask the waiters suggestion for the dinner. She mention three plates are enough but we had a lot of left over. The service was a litlee complicate for us.
The worst experience in over a year, smug hostesses, seated over 45 minutes late from a reservation, indifferent management. Server was pleasant and tried, compared to their NY location they should just close, zero respect for their clients
Had a reservation but still took another hour to get a table. (730p reservation and seated at 830pm). The food is not great but there is lots of it. The service was terrible. The server vanished for long periods of time and when there, was in such a hurry that she was not polite or helpful. Carmines is usually good with service and server professionalism but this time not good.
Took forever to get seated for our reservation (30 minutes late) and then they had no wine glasses so they served us with water glasses...food was good, server was average but experience with reservations and hostess was disappointing
Excellent service, delicious food.
Very good - asked us 10 times if we had been there before
Just two of us, so we sat in the bar area so we could get the smaller plates. Penne a la vodka (added Italian sausage) was great. Shared a garden salad as well - fresh ingredients and good house dressing which we ordered on the side. Waitress was very upbeat and attentive. It did get quite noisy and crowded as the after work crowd packed into the bar area.
The food was fantastic but I didn’t realize the portions were so large. There are large portions and then there are portions that could feed your family at thanksgiving. These are thanksgiving portions lol but we really enjoyed it
