The food was amazing. The portion size was extremely generous. The meatballs were sooo good. The red sangria was very good. We were hoping our request for celebrating our friends first anniversary would be mentioned, as I did put it in our special request box, but it was not. Other then that it was a very nice meal. Definitely glad I made a reservation, 45 minute wait without it.

The restaurant is intended for large groups only. The hostess told us that the server would assist us with the order so that we would not order too much food. There were two of us and he said that a salad and an entree would be perfect. The salad that arrived was for 10 people and the entree was fine but average tasting. What a waste of food!
Another couple had the same experience at a neighboring table and they told the waiter to cancel their entree and bring the check after he brought them the giant salad.
Although we tried to each eat two platefuls of salad we barely put a dent in it. We had hoped for a great date night in Vegas at an Italian restaurant - what a BIG disappointment!
This place would be great for a large family with a lot of kids who want quantity and not quality food.

I love Carmine's! The only thing was they were VERY busy on Saturday, so the service was slow. Our reservation was for 4:30 and we were seated, but we didn't order until after 5 and it was almost 6 when our food arrived. They were apologetic, but it was a long late lunch early dinner that turned into dinner. The food is and was awesome. I will still go back!

We came to town for my mother's 50th Birthday and they did not let us down. He food was AMAZING and the service was even better. But nothing topped the singing for my moms Birthday. Such a hit!! We will for sure go back if we're ever in town again.

Waited about 10 minutes for a party of 3 even though I made reservations and there was ample seating available. I had a breezy italian for a drink and it wasn't as good as the ones I've had at the theater district location. Maybe if the rosemary wasn't missing it would've tasted better. I ordered caesar salad along with penne alla vodka pasta and a porterhouse steak. The salad was good and also the pasta. I asked the steak be medium cooked and it was inconsistently cooked with some parts well done. I'd prefer it to be rare than well done. The server was ok but he could've performed better. I think I had to refill my glass with water on a 7 to 1 scale. Overall experience could've been better given the $195 price for pasta, salad and steak excluding the 20% tip I gave. Most likely I won't be returning to this location and I'll be sticking with the NYC restaurant.

A group of four friends went for a post-conference meal. We ordered the Caesar salad, cheese ravioli with meat sauce, and the chicken scallopiene with lemon and butter. Food was great - the salad was amazing. Their meat sauce is delicious. But my ears were bleeding it was so loud. We couldn't hear our waiter. There was a wedding up stairs. Music playing in the restaurant and in the the forum shops. Vegas is loud, but this was over the top. We couldn't read the menu either (it's posted on the wall). We asked for a paper copy - they don't exist. The waiter suggested we take a picture of it. I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous. I have horrible eyes (glasses wearer since high school) and my back was to it. It'd totally eat there again, but perhaps I'd call ahead and make sure there wasn't any special events happening and look extensively at the menu online.

Don't make the mistake of going to Carmines. Go to Rao's, they won't disappoint you there.
Would not go and would not recommend again.
I have been coming to carmines for 4+ years based on my brothers recommendation. My brother is a Las Vegas local.
Had the worst experience last night.
Ordered; bottle of wine which was not brought out when ordered, instead I needed to remind them when the appetizers came out. So we had no wine until the food was served. Appetizers; baked clams (not as good as usual, over cooked on top, too hard to chew), side of meatballs (was ok and really the only shining light of the dinner). Entree; penne vodka which was terrible. Sauce was runny, not creamy, with giant cloves of garlic. Almost as if some ingredients had been left out. Penne vodka was sent back only to have it brought back to the table 2 minutes later to be clearly the same dish only nuked with overly cooked pasta added to the grotesque dish. Which was then sent back again and I asked for it not to be remade.
The pasta was taken off and the female manager (Dani) did come over to speak with me. She attempted to resolve the situation by bringing out 6 Cannoli (3 to go and 3 for the table). I am deathly allergic to pistachio nuts and the Cannoli were covered. I told the woman who brought them out that I was allergic and she said no problem and that she would bring out some Cannoli without pistachio nuts. The manager Dani, also came over and I told her as well. I waited 20-25 minutes for the Cannoli to be brought out to the table and finally gave up and left.
Regret going to Carmines and wish I would have gone to Rao's.
Food and service are superior.

My wife and I visit Vegas at least 2 times a year and a must is to have those delicious rigs at Carmine's. The sauce is wonderful; in fact, (I have shared this with your staff) when I had dinner at Olive Garden I could not believe that an Italian restaurant would serve the sauce that they had. So, I wrote to their headquarters about my disdain and recommended that they visit your restaurant to get an idea what a savory sauce tastes like.

We have been to both NYC locations and the service in Las Vegas was of no comparison - disappointed that plates weren't changed out between appetizers and meal - leaving people with clam shells on their plates and having to add meal to the dirty plate; had to ask a number of times anytime we needed anything as the waiter was not very attentive
no water glasses; etc. etc
food was very good but the ambiance and service was no where near to the expectations after being at the originals in NYC

I really enjoyed my meal at Carmine's. Everything is served family style and the portions are massive. We had seven people and got to try 5 dishes and there was plenty left over. All of the dishes we tried were excellent. Overall, I highly recommend this for group dining so you can try several of the dishes on the menu.

Blane our waiter was as pushy as any waiter ever. He repeated the process over and over, pushed people and in short was terrible. The food was mush. Over all in the group of 12, not one person enjoyed the food. With Birthday dinner of 12 (Birthday noted on the reservation) the mother of the 21 year old daughter was told, we can celebrate, we don't have cakes. I had to walk over and tell him to get me a desert with a candle. He said, Ill have to charge you. I handed him $20 and he reluctantly brought over a frozen ice cream.
I eat in all quality of restaurants 2-3 times a week. This is the worst for the past decade.

Food and service were EXCELLENT! They tell you right away that the menu are on screen so you have to take a picture or go up to the screen to order. They also tell you the dishes are big and shareable dishes so you don't over order. We ordered calamari which was delicious and the pasta dishes as well. The service though was by far the best service I have received while in Vegas!

Late Saturday dining after a Vegas show. Service was slow, fried calamari appetizer must have been up for 10 minutes+ before it was brought to table because it tasted warm from a heat lamp; not hot from coming out of a fryer. Carmine salad was tasty but horribly overdressed. Lasagna was pretty standard; nothing special. First server (Michael) was way too chatty for a late table, even when we told him we were just in for a quick after-show bite to eat. Servers were switched and Kelley (sp?) took over and service could be termed friendly, but unattentive. This was a repeat visit but may well have been the last. Way too many dining options to tolerate this. Sorry but you asked for the review.

Carmine's was a great experience for us overall. The baked clams appetizer was so good we ordered it twice. Additionally, the Prime Rib chop nightly special was absolutely incredible. We were a little disappointed in the chicken parm, but it wasn't enough to ruin our overall experience or impression of the restaurant.
