Capriccio at Resorts Atlantic City Ratings and Reviews
Excellente! It was my friend's birthday and I'd written in the comments section of my OT reservation that we would be celebrating his special day and I'd appreciate a nice dessert, with candle + singing-- the entire package, and Jorge did not disappoint. Not only was all if this done, but they served his favorite dessert- tiramisu, which he'd been eying, no salivating over, when he noticed it in the dessert display as we entered.
Oh, and the food was excellent, too, as usual, and the dynamic server duo of Wiston and Oscar, whom I had requested, were just perfect!
We went to Capriccios for a birthday celebration. The restaurant was all that was expected and the food was AMAZING, I can't wait to go back. My only complaint of the whole night, was that it took longer to get the check than it did for us to get our food. They cleared our table at 7:30 and it was after 8:00 before we received our check. We had to actually go and ask someone for it. Understaffed for a Friday night.
The dining experience was great. It was upscale, fine dining Italian cuisine. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was mediocre. I got Alfredo and my boyfriend got bolognese and we could’ve made better dishes at home. It was good nonetheless, but the taste and quality of the food did not match up with the level of dining and service you. We were expecting homemade sauces and pasta, and flavors that just blew us out of the water. This was not the case.
Dinner was extremely slow and it appeared that we had been forgotten. Service was not up to its usual standard. No explanation was given, but a lame attempt to blame the chef. Even if things were backed up in the kitchen, we should have been offered a drink on the house or something. Just left to wait.
This restaurant had it all going for it, but my veal oscar special was awful. Service seemed to be some kind of rotating 4 waiters, with no ONE waiter seeming to be too interested in our table.
Waiting on the check was interminable, and the check came with an extra added entrée, on the bill. A meal which should have been remarkable, had enough issues that we won't return, and certainly wouldn't recommend to anyone we like.
Truthfully? I have had better service (and veal) in a local diner.
We went here for our anniversary in November and were the youngest people in there by at least 20 years (we’re 30). The restaurant itself looked nice, but we had headache by the time we left from the smell. It smelled like stale smoke. Our server was great, and chicken parm was delicious. The fettuccine Alfredo had way too many veggies. Overall it was an okay experience, but I doubt we will be returning.
This was our first visit and there will be more! The service was impeccable, courteous, professional and very attentive. Our serving crew: Marylin, Stephen and Alberto were the greatest I have ever experienced and need to be commended. This was my birthday celebration and they made sure it was a perfect celebration evening. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The candle on my Cannoli's was the perfect touch. Congratulations to all for a wonderful and most enjoyable evening. Looking forward to dining at Capriccios again soon.
This is possibly the best brunch destination in Atlantic City. I hadn't returned in several months and really didn't think it could get any better. I was wrong. It got better. Omelette station, carving station, raw bar, charcuterie...and so it goes. Bottomless sparkling wine? Yup! The best Sunday you'll spend in AC!
Great food, friendly and welcoming staff. The Italian atmosphere is outstanding and menu to die for. There is an excellent view of the board walk and beach. The wait staff look to satisfy your requests completely. The hosts our outstanding and treat you like family.
Once again, Capriccio's did not disappoint! Our wait staff, Jose, Kit and William were attentive, friendly and efficient. The meals were delicious! I had the Surf 'n Turf and my sister had the Filet Mignon, everything done to perfection! We had the Tiramisu and Butterscotch Pudding with Caramel for dessert and split them, awesome! I can't wait for our next visit! Thanks, Capriccio, for a great dining experience!
All I can say, it’s a shame! This place used to be really good. Unfortunately, not the case anymore! This place is extremely overpriced, quality of food is not very good, and the service weak to say the least! I was not impressed! I will not go back there again!
We had such a great time at this restaurant! It was beautiful; with speedy service, friendly and funny staff and the food was finger-licking good. We happened to be the only and last group at the restaurant so it was nice and private. Would definitely recommend this restaurant as an upscale dining option!
I used to visit Capriccio a lot many years ago. I was always very satisfied with everything about the dining experience. The other night when I was there it was different. I ordered chicken parm and found the red sauce much too tart and tangy for me to eat. I ended up with some pasta with oil and garlic. That wasn’t great either. Your staff however is still head and shoulders over anywhere else. Very polite and accommodating. I always loved Capriccio. Maybe this time I hit it on a bad night. I will probably give it a shot another time.
This restaurant is still the most Romantic restaurant in AC. The décor is lovely and you can always get close to the windows for an Ocean View. Can't get much better than that! Plus, the food is always delicious and we love the Staff. This is definitely a five star restaurant. Love it!
THIS RESTAURANT IS SIMPLY THE BEST, VERY ROMANTIC ITALIAN DECOR, THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND ATTENTIVE, I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT JORGE THE MANAGER, YOU WILL BE ABSOLUTELY PLEASED TO KNOW HIM, A PERFECT GENTLEMAN !!!!! THE FOOD, GREAT !!!! THE OSSOBUCCO IS TO DIE FOR !!! WE CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK, ANGELO GRASSO
This was our first visit . We had a great service team that was helpful and personable.
From the service to the food everything was excellent. We both had the Branzino that was recommended by the server and it did not disappoint. For dessert we shared a peanut butter cannoli cake that was terrific. All in all, a very nice experience.
Capriccios decor and waterfront views were lovely. The service was very good. The stuffed artichoke, although very tasty was overcooked on the outside and under cooked on the inside. The prosciutto was extremely fatty and cut very thick. The halibut was totally overcooked. For a restaurant of this caliber and that many stars I think this is unacceptable. The food did not warrant that kind of pricing.
