Nothing about this experience will make me go back. I had a $50 gift certificate so we decided to try this location thinking it would be excellent. It was not. Save a few extra bucks and go to the Keg for better steak.

Service was a bit disappointing. Our server was not very attentive- I was not asked for another beverage once mine was done, I had to request more water after my glass lay empty for 10-15 min, and he did not check on the quality of the steak. My husband's steak was requested medium rare and came medium well. We did not see him once the meal was delivered to the table. Food quality was average, as was the atmosphere. I give an overall 6.5/10. Would likely not go back.

A friend recommended this restaurant, as we are not from the GTA. We had Reservations at & pm, and were early, but they seated us right away. Our waiters, Kenny and Steve, were polite, attentive but not obtrusive. The orders were correct.
We chose off the prix fixe menu. I had the prime rib, with a Caesar salad, and double chocolate brownie for dessert. My wife had the hunter chicken, with the soup (butternut squash that day), and crème brule. We were both happy with the meals. I have not had as good a Caesar salad for some years. The prime rib was exactly as ordered (medium rare), and tasted wonderful. Perhaps it could have been a touch warmer, but it was good nevertheless. My wife commented several times about the wonderful gravy on her dish.
I would definitely cme back here, and recommend it to friends.

We went there to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We ordered calamari and not only was the quantity smaller as compared to other restaurants but it also barely had pieces of calamari. Literally , there were only 6 pieces of the rings and 6 pieces of the ends(tentacles) and 3 pieces of fried lemon slices. When we told the server, she explained that the lemon slices were completely edible. We explained that we ordered for calamari, not lemon and other end pieces. She was nice enough to exchange the dish for us. The food that we ordered tasted good, but not outstanding, to want us to come back again. Quantity was below average . At the end of the meal, we were not stuffed after spending 100 dollars with no drinks or dessert. Great for people who like to fine dine, but poor value for money . I also forgot my umbrella there, which could not be located after a few hours. Guess somebody picked it up. Gives an indication of the kind of crowd hanging around there !!!

Food was amazing. Service was amazing with one exception--the server asked if we were on a time schedule and we advised we were and told him the time we needed to be out, however, didn't get out in time.....we were 15 minutes late. Found that service was quick, right up to coffee time and then it seemed difficult to find the server and get our bill, pay and leave. Other than that, a very good experience overall.

Our first trip to Toronto found us in need of a quality dining experience, but within walking distance of our hotel. While Canyon Creek may have been an uninformed shot in the dark, the selection turned out to be an excellent choice. There were options galore, but our party of two decided on the Prix Fixe menu, which consisted of salads, grilled chicken with seasonal veggies and mashed potatoes, and a modest list of waist-expanding desserts. Service was attentive without being rushed. The food was cooked perfectly, attractively presented, and delicious. In particular, the pumpkin creme brûlée was the bomb! Canyon Creek is located below street level with dim lighting and dark woods throughout. The decor was contemporary without being sterile, and the ambiance warm and friendly. A great find in downtown Toronto!

We were in TO for Jays games... Went for dinner and next day again for lunch. Food was great.. Really great. Servers were fun. Busy and happening on game day. Menu had great choices and is not deep fried boxed food... Food with love.

Food was good but service and timeliness was lacking. Seemed overwhelmed by the pre-Jays game crowd. One cocktail took about 30 minutes to arrive. Food order took over 45 minutes to arrive. Fortunately we arrived early and allowed ourselves about 2 hours for dinner.

It was my second time at Canyon Creek over the past 2 months after almost a year of absence. Used to be my favourite spot but may have to reconsider. The meal portion sizes seem to have gotten smaller and less satisfying (soups and salads). I have one more prescheduled group lunch and will try something else just to see if this is a general change. Not too pleased about this.
The servers however are still helpful and attentive.

I brought my boss and his associate to lunch here to celebrate excellent quarter end results. They were both very impressed with the experience and before we left, asked if I could make them reservations for lunches for the upcoming Holiday seasons. It was wonderful to show sr management a new place, and especially one they were so pleased by, and found suitable for their own tastes, too.

Food was very good, we had a new server and he was a bit slow, it took quite a while to get our drinks and even a while before he brought water to our table. Once we put our food order in though, the service picked up quite a bit as we advised we were going to a sporting event.

This was the WORST dinner I have ever experienced! Our appetizer worded very appealingly on the menu was small in portion size and extremely greasy! We had to use our napkins to wipe off the excess grease. Fried calamari is my daughter's favorite but NEVER have I seen grease like I did on the food. As for our mains, BLAND is a kind word. I will never ever visit this restaurant again and warn others to stay away

A great place, good service and an attentive staff. The only downside would be that there are really not very many options for vegetarians. I understand its a SteakHouse but they just need to throw a couple items on the menu that vegetarians can clearly see were intended for them. The waiter kindly offered to modify items (like the shrimp pasta without the shrimp, or another dish without the chicken). I would rather be able to pick something quickly without having to have a conversation with the entire table about modifying a dish. Would be easy to do. That being said I had the veggie burger and it was STELLAR!

The resturant is just around the office and I have eaten here before. It was Friday prior to long weekend and it was really quite. I had the sliders followed by the steak sandwich while my guest had the chicken burger. The food was good and service was great (as usual)

All staff friendly. We were stuck in traffic and late for our resv. So I called the restaurant and they were very understanding and held our table for six people.
Our waiter was great but our mains took 55 minutes and we had a concert to attend. We had to gobble our food in a hurry. Wait staff kept apologizing. Our bill was discounted $20

We had a fabulous time. We were greeted right away on arrival and were able to increase our party from 8'people to 10. We had a private room with flowers on the table, which was a very nice touch. The food was tasty, service was friendly and efficient. Jonathan our server was great. I would recommend canyon creek to friends and eat here again.

Waiter Shawn was attentive and fun. Our meal was terrific and we loved the atmosphere as we were attending the Adele concert as were many of your other patrons. Lots of fun noises and excitement in anticipation of the event.

Excellent dinner prior to attending a concert at the Air Canada Centre. Within walking distance to the ACC and Union station after getting off of the Go Train. Nice ambiance. Excellent service. Food was nicely presented and cooked to perfection. Would go back again and would easily recommend to others.
