Buddy V's at The Venetian Ratings and Reviews
Absolutely the BEST pasta we've ever had! Great selection of entrees! LOVED the polenta croutons on the Caesar salad! Josh, our waiter, was very good, very attentive, as was all the staff. They all took care of each other. This restaurant is a keeper, we'll definitely recommend it!
I missed the grand opening of Carlo's Bakery in the Woodlands Mall in Texas so we had to stop in on our last day in Vegas Monday 2/20/2017 for lunch then across for lobster tails to take home. The food was Excellent as well as the service. We will definately be back next year and will recommend to the rest of our group. Maybe next year we will get to see Buddy! :)
this has to be one of my new favorite restaurants to dine at when visiting Las Vegas. this was my 1st visit to this restaurant and for a special occasion (my 50th birthday), I dined there with my two sisters, my niece and my Mom and we all LOVED everything we ate. We even had a cake ordered/delivered from Carlos Bakery (just across from this restaurant) and that was fantastic too. Our waitress (I don't remember her name, she was brunette, long hair with two braids) was very attentive, everyone who was at our table was impressed with the service, including the manager who stopped by our table as well (let's hear it for NJ!). We will definitely dine here again the next time we are in Las Vegas!!!
I was attracted to the restaurant because of the owner. I felt the service was average but not careless (when they cleared appetizers and dinner they never replace utensils so I kept taking from table next to us. They also brought the wrong wine Pino Grigio vs Pinot Noir) Not a place to have a business dinner as the music was too loud. The food was very enjoyable and the dessert was very good. I would recommend and come back.
We love this restaurant! The food is always amazing, it's Italian authentic/comfort style just like grandma made it , hot and fresh. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is clean and beautiful. And the best part, the desert is spectacular! (Especially the Birthday cake)
Second time we've gone for dinner while in Vegas. Enjoyed everything about Buddy V's. Ambiance is great. The waiters are attentive and knowledgeable. Always willing to work with what you want to eat even if it's not on the menu.
Charcuterie is fantastic! The meatballs are the best I've ever had. Italian salad was delightful. Salmon was cooked perfectly. Honestly, everything was perfect both times we've been. It will become a regular stop each year while in Vegas!!
The style of the restaurant was beautiful. Done with "the Cake boss" in mind.
It was my mother's 75th birthday, we had originally set reservations for 6pm. The team at Buddy V's were very accommodating when we requested if we could push the time up to 5pm. The first waiter was fabulous, great personality. He suggested the Italian family service which had all of the restaurants favorite meals. We just sat back and allowed buddy V's team bring us plate after plate of delicious Italian food. My Mom was thrilled and enjoyed the entire evening. At the end, they brought out to my Mom a medley of deserts with a lite candle.
Only wish since the restaurant is the cake boss's place, that they offered more of a variety of deserts, since that is part of the appeal of eating at the cake boss's restaurant. Desert menu very limited. However, what deserts that were offered were outstanding. Specially the cannoli.
The service was deplorable. There was not enough staff on hand to accommodate all customers. I made mention of this to the manager and I was compensated with 2 cappuccinos, which I don't drink. In fact, I hate cappuccino. This left a bad taste in my mouth, metaphorically speaking...
We were disappointed. The meal started off with a great Caesar salad but out entres weren't great. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was good. I had spaghetti which was salty and my dates steak was overdone. The chef apologized and paid for the steak which was very nice but it still wasn't a great meal
I hardly ever eat Italian out but I love Carlo's Bakery so I decided to try it. I Love Love Love the food. I'm Italian an usually prefer to eat only my homemade Italian food. Will definitely make this one of my regular Vegas meals!
Everything was wonderful the service & food!
Looking forward to my next trip to Las Vegas so I can enjoy Buddy V's again.
Food was fantastic! There were four of us and we ordered the meat and cheese platter; excellent choice. Dinner choices included lasagna, cheese ravioli, Sunday gravy and chicken scaloppini - all were amazing! Everyone was extremely pleased with their meals. The portions are very large so come hungry and don't be afraid to share. We all commented we will definitely be back and will likely choose more of a family style approach versus each ordering our own entre. Also, we didn't have any room to try dessert and it would have been nice to do so. If you love Italian, you have to come to Buddy V's at the Venetian!
Absolutely amazing food and wonderful service. Would highly recommend a visit here. Staff were friendly and helpful also very knowledgeable about the menu and options. Wait time was short for food. Food was simply amazing. We had the share menu for a bigger group with section of appetizers, mains and desserts. Best meal of our trip hands down.
Pretty ordinary experience. The menu was nothing special and the food was pretty average. I had a mixed green salad with vinaigrette but it tasted strongly of anchovies and Caesar dressing. Fish was ok but nothing spectacular. Dining mates dessert looked good.
