About Brittingham's Pub
We are a progressive public house, and we believe in the idea of the "pub" mentality. Brittingham's creates a "home away from home" for our guest and staff alike. We take the same mantra on in the experience we plan to deliver to you! That being said we are taking it to the next level with food and drink that doesn't alienate, and great service and atmosphere that create a contemporary party! We are local, we are community, we are loyal and we are kind!

Brittingham's Pub Ratings and Reviews
Loved it, as usual
I had been there before, so I knew it was great. It was my friends first time and he loved it. The food was great (even though his fish was a little small), but he loved the look and feel of the restaurant. He said he felt like he was away in the country or in a cabin type place. We will definitely be back!
Brittingham's just ok
Nothing special here. Food was ordinary. Service was sorta ok. You see where I'm going here. Local tavern with food, essentially. Guess I'd eat there again, maybe.
We have visited Brittinghams many times before and love it! We were slightly disappointed in the Mothers Day brunch however...when booking it we werent told that it was a brunch only menu...the seating outside was warm and beautiful but the food was sub par. It was expensive for what we got...the food clearly sat out for a while and was not appetizing, the selection slim and the desserts were hard from being left out.
Week Night evening At Brittinghams
We enjoyed the food and the service. We had made a reservation and we were seated promptly. One disappointment was the cost of one of our drinks. I ordered a Kettle One on the rocks. The charge was $11.05 which is expensive. If one purchases three of these drinks, they have paid for the bottle. Added to this, was that is was a minimal pour. We observed the bartender pour the drink into a shot glass and then pour it into the glass. If you feel you must charge this amount you need to be more generous in the amount provided. Campbell's Place in Chestnut Hill charges $10.00 for this drink and with the 10% tax it becomes comparable. I will be back but I will not order liquor. d
Is the good food worth the noise?
The newest chef at this restaurant is great. The food is tasty and inventive. The noise in the restaurant is horrible! We always ask for a quiet table and on one occasion the hostess called us to tell us that a party was in the restaurant. The call was most appreciated and we cancelled. This time, however, we started in an empty room and within 5 minutes, had two large parties on top of us. We couldn't hear each other. Bottom line, unless you want to scream during your meal, get take out!

Great food! Arugula salad + cheese board was a perfect dinner. Love the deck, fire pits, and outdoor heaters. Can't believe I haven't been here before!
Surprised my family
I'd been to Brittingham's for drinks but never had anything off the dinner menu before. My picky family and I decided to try it for a special occasion because of the prices. They were skeptical reading the menu...they're not really foodies and some of the menu items are let's say creative. Everything we tried was delicious. Combined with affordable craft beers and cocktails and great service...well let's just say we all left full, happy, and with left overs. Definitely recommend and will definitely return.

Beautiful barn structure converted into a pub/restaurant. The staff was lovely and felt like a family run business. Food was amazing be it pancakes, sandwiches or omelette. Perfect cozy place to start your Sunday with friends.

Bar Food / Not Restaurant Food
Exit Only sign not erected, so we nearly crashed upon entering. Friday Night at 6:00PM was already packed. Limited menu which usually screams: focused on preparing good food. Salad dressing was all oil as if not stirred or something. Dressing was supposed to be ginger vinaigrette. Chilli was sweet, but okay. Fair quantity for appetizer. Burger okay. Beers good. Irish Band and D.J. good. Fish terrible, tartar sauce worst I ever had. Chips (french fry wedges) were good. Overall just Bar Food ... not good restaurant food in my opinion.
Celebrating St. Patty's Day
We chose to have dinner at Brittinghams to see the Irish band that was scheduled. It was a great evening with good food and great music! Our waitress was terrific and very attentive to our needs.
Light dinner, reservation fine, very good food
First time there for many, many years - a vast improvement. Everything was fine. Chicken potpie was excellent. Service was perfectly fine but not warm or professional. My wife is planning to hold a spring dinner for 40-50, so our faith is fairly strong. I have no idea how to reply to above questions.
Two thumbs up
Always love it here! Great spot I have had parties here in the past and many times for dinner and it never disappoints

Food and service was great. Music was way too loud.
Great space, very poor service, touch and go food
First time visiting since the renovation. The place looks awesome. Unfortunately the service was really bad from the get go. The waitress was not knowledgeable and she was slow. Some of the food was very good, other items were below average. Prices are on the higher end so bad service really spoils things.

Great bar food and drink menu!
My friends and I went here on a Friday night and had a great time. Order the cheesesteak egg rolls! They were great. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I would rather spend my money here than other bars in Lafayette Hill/ Conshohocken!
I have heard from others that this place is good and i agree. Food was delicious, unexpected twist on clam chowder that i had for a starter. It was tasty and different from what i tried before. Cheese platter was generouse, our salads were well built and flavorful. Prices are a bit higher than what i expected but i enjoyed the food and felt it was worth it.
Great Irish music , ok food
A friend & I came to get dinner & listen to Irish music . My meal was a Salmon Caesar Salad . The regular price for Caesar Salad was $10 & they added $16 for a small piece of salmon . Needless to say it was the most expensive salad I ever had & not worth the $$ although good . My friend ordered fish & chips . 1 piece of the fish seemed fine while the other 2 smaller ones looked like frozen fish patties . The chips are not chips but shoestring French fries . He returned the order as the restaurant was known for their good fish & chips . A manager came over to say they did switch some items on the menu . My friend told them it was false advertising as it is not chips but fries .
Excellent server, Excellent experience
Server was very attentive and friendly. Kept all of our drinks full with just a wink and a nod. Very helpful with food suggestions and her recommendations were excellent.
Brittingham's is a great establishment with a vibrant bar scene, notable wine list, and absolutely fabulous food. The live music that frequents the pub on the weekends truly sets this place apart. Staff is consistently courteous and friendly. Additionally, there are several rooms where you could hold a fabulous party--corporate event, bridal shower, etc. The outdoor seating with the fire pits and TV view from the outdoor bar are phenomenal from the spring through the fall. You can bring your dog to sit outside too! I highly recommend this place for foodies and locals alike.
Had a great time with friends. Had to move to the bar area as the dining room was way too noisy to have a conversation. Dinner was great and our server, Chimere, was the best. She made the entire evening special, fun, and delicious.
A fun place to meet friends for lunch. Good food. Friendly and plenty of parking.
Woulda coulda shoulda
Liked the ambience and the outdoor seating on a September evening. But drinks weren't as ordered and most food selections had something wrong. May try again, but....
Nice night at the outdoor bar $
Great service, good food, nice place to watch a game.
Pub that comes off as a restaurant
Very nice looking place both inside and out. Waitstaff/barstaff courteous, friendly, and accommodating. Food was way above typical pub fare in quality. The entree menu isn't extensive but what's on there is excellent. Fish & Chips moist, not overly breaded. Bronzino was excellent, better than we've had for $10 more elsewhere in the region. Chicken wings were tasty (couldn't tell they were lightly breaded) as was the tomato soup and mussels. Definitely on the list for repeat visits.
Enjoyed our dinner!
Food was very good. Mushroom flat bread as an appetizer was delicious. Charging 11.50 for a weak martini in a small glass was lame. Coffee was served cold. Otherwise a pleasant experience.
Great Place to Catch Up with Friends
I went here with two of my girlfriends for brunch on a Sunday. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, the food was yummy, and the special brunch cocktails were a nice treat. I would definitely go back.
We were seated on time since we had a reservation. However, we did not receive any service for 15 minutes. Must be more attentive.
Love the outdoor seating!

Had a nice dinner with friends. Everything was good, service was excellent, and parking was easy. Very nice time, for sure...
fun place to eat outside!
The outside space was really awesome to enjoy dinner, drinks and the nice night. Server was nice and attentive. Food was mediocre, but I would try again.

Great food and drinks! Staff is kind and outgoing, and the ambiance is lively! We love Brittingham's!
Good music, good times
A good time at Brittingham's whenever they host Irish music evenings, or afternoons with Irish bands. Fast service, no problem with "separate checks". A few kids are welcome, but it is mostly grownups having a good evening.

Nice, great place for a bite to eat with friends and not to expensive
The food was not very good! there was a very large quantity, way too much. Would have preferred better tasting food that large amount.
A rare chance to get out (we had a cheap babysitter!). Great atmosphere, great company (of course!) we were very excited to try a new venue. The place is really nice and the renovations really paid tribute to this historical gem. They had a good wine list and a nice selection of beers. The menu was cool and all the options sounded very enticing. The waitress didn't do much to upsell the specials, we actually had to ask if there were any. Soup was awesome, other food was OK but the margherita flatbread we got was really bland. Would definitely go back when it is warmer to try the outdoor experience, it looks like a pretty sweet set up.
1st time - happily surprised!
Food was upscale and nicely presented. Decor and atmosphere were clean, warm and modern. Numerous bar areas were hoppin'. Additions to dessert menu would be a great idea. We'll be back!
Fabulous neighborhood hang out and great set up
This was our first visit after the recent completion (about 1 year ago) of total renovation of the pub. The place is large with many side rooms and multiple bars and dining areas. Food is much higher quality than standard bar food--with some great specials as well. On a busy Friday night, the place was well staffed with very well trained staff. The general manager also roamed the floor to ensure all was in good order, very friendly. We started with drinks, then had wedge salad--very tasty. Followed by shells with cheese and one of the special entrees--striped bass. Both were top notch. We concluded with an "adult milkshake" of mint, chocolate and plenty of booze--plenty for 2 people. Plus a cookie plate. Little did we know the cookies (4 kinds on the plate) were baked fresh and served warm from the oven--to die for! The place attracts a diverse crowd: business people, couples, families, families with small children, and parties in various side rooms. A very nice vibe. The waiter and bussers were terrific in the degree of attention--just right--not overkill and not disappearing as can happen so often part way through a meal on a busy evening. They were very really organized and made sure everyone was well taken care of. While there, we also bumped into some younger friends with small children who were having a great time--so it is great for young families as well. We'll, be back for sure!
