My Mom treated my sister-in-law and myself to a birthday lunch. We had never been before and were very pleased with everything. The food (two had the striploin and one had the salmon) was fabulous. We love our food and we were not disappointed. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

We visited the Ranche for lunch in late September. We were hoping to sit on the veranda but unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate. We were seated at a table inside by the window so were still able to enjoy the lovely view. We ordered the lunch special which included a starter, main and dessert. Everyone's meal was well prepared and tasted delicious. The service was excellent and we had a very enjoyable lunch. We will be back and would definitely recommend The Ranche to others.

Our family went to the Bow Valley Ranch to celebrate a family birthday. Our server was professional and took care to make our evening special. Our meals were well displayed and each meal tasted wonderful. Our family would definitely go back for a special occasions. This restaurant is not a value priced restaurant and should not be confused with one.

We love the country feel in the City. The service is exceptional with many staff ensuring coffee and water is always topped up. Five had steak all cooked to perfection. One had pork chop cooked and seasoned to perfection. We all had different desserts with positive comments. We will return monthly.

This was my second visit to BVR for lunch with girlfriends both times have been this time of year. Sat outside on the deck lovely venue, charming and very clean. Our server had a great sense of humour while remaining professional. I would love to go back for dinner with my husband before the snow flies 🍷

On Saturday some friends from away joined us at the restaurant, they were in total amazement from the minute they walked up to the front gate, the landscape, the garden, the smoker, the house. it was all so beautiful, when we arrived the hostess was very curtious and helpful, after being seated by the beautiful fireplace our waiter arrived with drink drink requests and specials of the day, the drinks were very well timed and the waiter was very knowledgeable about the building, food and wine. when the food came out it was presented beautifully and tasted exceptional, our out of town guests repeated several times throughout the night what an amazing place this is tucked away in calgary. we will return and so will they. Thank you Bow valley Ranche

This was my wife's second time within three days. The service is exceptional as was the Char and scallops. The scenery gives you the feel of being out of the city, as we observed Deer feeding along pathways. We will be returning soon

We were celebrating 3 birthdays for the 12th,13th & 14th.
The main room was taken up by a large wedding so we were in one of the smaller rooms.
Nice and intimated for the 6 of us enjoying a family dinner.
The table of 4 next to us was quite loud but O.K.
Good meal ,good service from our attentive waiter and sommelier deserving a 20% gratuity.

Second time we've been there. Service is very good. I ordered the porkchop, which I had the first time because it was so good. Disappointingly, this time the chop was very poorly done and a third of it was fat. it was still raw close to the bone. Must have been an off day in the kitchen because eveything else we've had there has been stellar. The waiter made good by striking the chop from the bill. We'll be back!

I had brunch with a friend here on Sunday -Aug. 7th.
Jose was the best server I've encountered at The Ranche - efficient, engaging & knowledgable!
My friend & I had different variations of Eggs Benedict & both were delicious.
The Creme Brûlée for dessert was perfect & flavorful.
Wonderful location to stroll after a leisurely brunch.
