SO happy with Bottlefork! Everything was great, including my first interaction with the restaurant - we were running late for our reservation but the host was very accommodating because I took the time to call and let them know. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly. Our server was excellent and completely respected our timeline, as we were in a bit of a rush. 5 of us shared the Wagyu beef jerky, the "tots" and the brussels sprouts - all were excellent. I had the Orecchiette Pasta which was awesome and a nice portion! I will definitely return to Bottlefork for the great food and service.

Great place to have a fun dinner with the non traditional tunes. Music ranged from smashing pumpkins to guns and roses November rain to Blink 182.
Saw reviews about being the best burger and that was true. It's worth the price. Some reviews said small portions but that wasn't our experience. Service was great and loved their recommendations. Not a huge area but great aesthetics.

Sat at the chef's table, which was such a fun experience. Cocktails were inventive and super tasty. Everything we had was fantastic. Service was great as well. Small, intimate setting with a cool, casual but still upscale vibe.

Went with a group of 6 since I was in town visiting some friends. We all had long exhausting days at work or with meetings so we wanted a fun place to unwind. Our server was very upbeat letting us know the specials and recommending his favorites which was nice. However when it came time to ask about certain ingredients in the food he started to get short with us. By the time desert rolled around he was not wanting to describe the food and asked how one of our plates was and when my friend responded it was just ok, he got very defensive and said "everyone's a critic around here" which was not the type of response we were expecting especially since we do handle food photography and blogging back home. Overall the food wasn't explained properly, wasn't anything super impressive or anything we'd recommend again, the drinks were great, and the appetizers were good but wouldn't actually dine there again. We've heard great things and left wanting more from service and food quality.

The cocktails were very delicious. This is a good place to go and get small plates and great craft cocktails. The food was pretty good. A bit pricey for what you get but the flavor profiles were good. The service was excellent.

While three of us enjoyed our entrees, one friend who ordered the corned beef hash was not happy with their selection (apparently there was very little corned beef involved). Our server never checked on us until we asked for the bill, and didn't ask why more than half of his food was still on his plate.

Overpriced and food isn't great. Overly salty tiny scallops. Smaller than bite size cut-up sweetbreads.
Interesting drinks with a little too much going on. The positives: good service, killer tater tots, fantastic coffee service. Don't think I'll make it back until the menu changes.

We always enjoy the inventive menu. The bag of crisps shaken with a softboiled egg is always a favorite appetizer, along with the Korean Wings. We treat this as a small plates experience, so did a number of appetizers and entrees, the flatbread was especially good this time as well the fried chicken and coffee stout ribs. Fun atmosphere, attentive service, a great go to place in River North
