Went to this upscale restaurant at the Intercontinental for lunch. Not many people here at that time, so service was excellent . The chicken salad was both tasty and beautifully prepared, the tartare combo very tasty, especially the tuna. Would go back. More

Comfort Food | Back Bay, Boston

My family was on a trip to Boston. The food and service was very good. The calamari and the crab cake appetizers were excellent. We enjoyed the meatloaf and the lobster roll was overstuffed with lobster. Everything tasted very well. More

It was a delicious meal. The market table was great and there was a lot of variety. Great service and lots of meat options brought to the table, but it was too expensive for anything other than a special occasion for college-age people. More

We were warmly greeted as we opened the door to the Inn. The atmosphere was pure elegance dating back to the early 1800's. We were seated in a beautiful candlelit dining area with eight tables amply set apart from one another. The food was extraordinary from our starter soup, to scallops and lobster appetizers, our main course and a flourless chocolate tort and crème brulee. Wonderful evening. More

In addition to the food we ordered, we loved the in-between treats that were brought between courses; they were great little surprises (like the beet/rum/ginger sorbet)! The servers were excellent; very knowledgeable and happy to talk about the food, which enhanced the experience. Will definitely go back next time we're at the Maine coast. More

Pon Thai BistroPon Thai Bistro
Thai | Brookline, Boston

In Thai cuisine, a number of core ingredients and sauces can be used in a wide variety of dishes, ranging from vegetarian to those featuring meat, fowl, or fish. The supporting elements for an entrée of filet of cod can be worked into a pasta or duck dish, with radically different results. Our careful application of the trinity of sauces--fish sauce, oyster sauce, and soy sauce--with a touch of palm sugar, and requisite heat, provides a base level of complexity and depth of flavor across a spectrum of dishes, allowing for greater control and speed in the kitchen. Our flavor profile also makes for rich, satisfying food without being heavy, or using a lot of fat. Head Chef Sivika "Pon" Hunter is classically trained in French cuisine and sauces but remains grounded in her native Thai cuisine. The merging of these two distinct styles makes our menu a uniquely delicious treat.More
