Lovely restaurant for fine dining and casual waterfront eating and bar. We went for seasonal menu and it was pretty plain. I have the same type meals at home and they are much tastier. We will give it another try with at the main menu.

This has always been a great restaurant and it still is! It is also one of the few truly waterfront restaurants in the area. You always feel like it is a special occasion even though you don't have to really dress up to dine. The views from the outside dining and inside dining are just outstanding. The food is eclectic and well-prepared.

Great place to dine. Good value. Unfortunately can't be called upscale due to service. The staff is kind of VERY casual with their guests. Visiting these kind of places you expect higher and more polite service. I am not saying the staff is rude, but next level of customer experience would be highly appreciated. But overall, not bad at all

I have to say we were rather disappointed in a few things. Mom had won a gift card from Mease Manor and could NOT wait to go; I had never been here before. I made reservations for Sunday at 1PM. We noticed everyone around us got champagne but were not offered any. We were confused by the menu and were told we could only get brunch or one of the dinner options since it was before 4PM. We ordered the chicken and ravioli. Mom's chicken was dry and the ravioli was ok. We then noticed our neighboring table ordering fish and chips - we did not see that on the menu. We feel that the waiter, who was very nice, did not thoroughly explain our options. When speaking to my neighbor she said you have an outstanding salad bar which we were not told about and a turkey type option. Mom has dementia so this was a big day for her and slightly disappointing. I did call after returning home but was told by the hostess that she was super busy and did I want to speak to a manager; I chose not to but since you're sending the survey I am now speaking up.

Window view was worth the visit. The service was excellent. We were rather disappointed with the food. The Grouper was swimming in a sea of butter :(, and the fingerling potatoes were hanging on the shore as well. The soup du jour was perfect..Mushroom and spinach..yum. The Octoberfest selection was overly salty.

We have been going to Bon Appetit for over 25 years. This was our 60th Wedding Anniversary. I was disappointed that no dessert with candle was served to us to celebrate. Since we spent $85.00 , it would have been good business to note our special day. (we did however receive a gift certificate for a free bottle of champange , on our next visit.) The couple in front of us received a dessert for his birthday. ( Just saying) The food and service is always excellent.

It is a pleasure to enjoy classic dining in a relaxed and beautiful atmosphere. The view is outstanding as the sunsets - while enjoying a delicious meal. The service and music completed a perfect evening for our family party. Thank you.

Very disappointed in both food and service, despite reading previous reviews. We were seated outside in a prime spot so we enjoyed the sunset view. However, our server was inattentive, almost to the point of dismissive. For apps we ordered the fig prosciutto crackers but the prosciutto had just been plopped on top, needed a little crisping. The stacked avocado and lobster had no flavor nor seasoning. The small plate of shrimp with Asian sauce was delicious, hot and nicely seasoned. We were not offered another cocktail, water, or even bread and no mention of dessert. We have stayed at the Best Western for the last three years and frequented the bar. We wondered about Bon appetite and now we know. Dunedin offers so many more restaurants with great food and appeal. From now on, we will stick to the bar!

This was my third time coming here for dinner and it was outstanding once more. I really enjoyed the food and the service couldn't have been any better because it was absolutely perfect. Even though the prices are a bit on the expensive side, it is totally worth it because the food is out of this world.

It was my wife's birthday. I made the reservation via Open Table. I requested a good table for the occasion. It was my first time visiting Bon Appetit and I have lived in the area for over 30 years. Everything was excellent (food, service-EVERYTHING including a beautiful sunset on the water. If you haven't been then I say reserve a table 30 mins. before sunset. BON APPETIT my friends.

My wife and I had our wedding reception here (under prior ownership & a different name) 45 years ago. So we came back for our Anniversary and were delighted that the waterfront view, beautiful sunset and ambiance were every bit as good as we remembered. We won't wait that long to come back! Highly recommend.

We went for a special birthday celebration with older parents and were not disappointed. Food was delicious - piano music quite nice - view was spectacular. Though we went early evening, it would be a fantastic locale for sunsets.

The location of the restaurant is great. The food and service was absolutely wonderful. Our waiter was very accommodating, the hostess seated us at a table with an amazing ocean view and I was very happy to have chosen this restaurant to celebrate an anniversary. The only issue that I really had was the temperature inside of the restaurant. The A/C just wasn't cutting it on this very hot Florida day and the sun beaming in made it a little extra uncomfortable. One employee adjusted the blinds to remedy the latter of the two issues. The food is quite pricey but worth it for a special occasion. We both ordered lobster dishes and were happy with our choices. I will be back again, I'm sure. Bon Appetit!

The service was impeccable and you can't beat the ambiance with the sunset views over the gulf and piano player in the background. I would like to see more vegan options on the menu rather than just grilled veggies.

Ate inside next to window so had a nice view of the patio and boats. The bearnaise sauce was flavorless and watery. We liked the french onion soup however it had too many herbs. Three tables away a child would scream occasionally at the top of his lungs. He wasn't crying but screaming! We should have dined outside on the patio but we thought it would be too warm.

This wasn't our first visit to Bon Apetit but surely the first with such a bad experience. We were celebrating my wife birthdaybirthday, we mentioned to our waiter and he totally ignored the sign.. At the dessert time he brought everyone's dessert and I had to called him back request a birthday candle to stick it in my wife's tiramisu, he definitely forgot to mentioned to the chef for a happy birthday to written on her plate something that even the most cheapest restaurant would have done, we were a party of 4 and our check was over $300.00 plus tip. The lobster bisque was watery, not creamy at all, we ordered surf and turf and filet waswasn't good seasoned, my daughter ordered salmon and it wasn't good either.. The piano player left before we finish eating as welI as the rest of people.. In fact.. This was worst service that we have had at this restaurant.... 😪😪

Service and food are 5 star. The dining rooms have a view of the bay and there is outdoor seating as well. There is an outdoor bar, casual, conveniently located in the front of the restaurant
The sunsets are phenomenal.

Food was excellent, service was great, nice waterfront view, and noise level reduced as the night went on. At first it was a full house so noise level was understandable. This was my second visit and I will recommend to my friends.
