Bistro Napa Ratings and Reviews
Great dinner with a group of 10. We were given the Wine Cellar Room which was a private room set for 10, great room and service. We all had a great meal, great appetizers and dinners and a wonderful selection of wine😁🍷. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
Bistro never fails to impress! Food is always fresh and delicious! There's a wide variety of options to choose. Service has always been with a smile and talk about the extras! For birthdays they provide a fancy cake. On top of that you get their famous cotton candy which is not the cheap kind! Its super fresh! Ambiance is great and perfect for intimate dates or fun with friends. And dont forget their happy hour where you get half off appetizers and drinks! Just an overall great place to be!
We were very disappointed in our dinner at Bistro Napa. We brought our own wine and were told there would be a $25 corkage fee which we think is high but expected to get more than the cork removed. Our server never once came back to pour wine. She was vey inattentive. Did not ask about our meal until the end of the evening (prior to the tip). My husband and I shared a shrimp cocktail and while the shrimp were nice and plump, the sauce (although we were told it was homemade) tasted just like plain Heinz Ketchup. Even cocktail sauce would have been better. The shrimp were served on a bed of white dried noodles which added nothing to the dish. Western Village does a way better shrimp cocktail. We both had one of the Signature dishes - Short ribs and my husband's was okay though he was not impressed with the sauce, mine was very, very fatty. When our server did finally ask about the dinner, I told her about the fatty meat and she said that short ribs are generally on the fatty side. Not in a good restaurant they aren't. I have eaten short ribs in a lot of places and they are generally quite lean. Since the main course was so disappointing we were offered a complimentary dessert and opted for the Strawberry Shortcake. We expected something light but it was like a regular cake with strawberries layered in between the layers. The cake was hard and dry. We ate little of it. We were given a plate of cotton candy with our bill and that was delightful. I was with a group of women yesterday and we were talking about restaurants and I shared our experience. Another woman said she heard their chef went to another restaurant in the Atlantis and the last 2 meals they had there were also disappointing and like us, won't be going back.
This was my first time to Bistro Napa and it did not disappoint. We started by having cocktails at the bar, which were well made. We then had dinner, which was tasty from start to finish. Our server Romeo was great. He made sure we were taken care of all night. We also enjoyed our conversation with Mark. I believe he was the manager or GM. We will definitely be back. Thanks Bistro Napa!
We went to Napa Bistro to have a long slow relaxed meal and it turned out to be just perfect.
Our waiter allowed us to order, receive and eat a course before we ordered the next one. He never pressured us, but he also never disappeared on us either. The noise is a little loud, in our opinion, for a true special dining experience, but it really didn’t distract from being able to hold a quiet conversation.
The food, especially the short ribs, was wonderfully prepared, and beautifully presented. We had some amazing oysters on the half shell, and the potato bisque soup was thick, creamy and so satisfying. The short ribs were so rich that we were very pleased that we had shared the dish.
We will be back many more times.
Thank you Napa Bistro for an amazing evening.
Everything was very guest friendly. We were running a little late and they accommodated us. The service was good and attentive. The food was excellent and the ambiance was very good. I know they patrons must pay for all of the above, but if the prices were slightly lower, I would go there more often.
Our hostess wanted to seat us at a noisy booth even though the booth next to it was empty. She said that booth was for a reservation, we had a reservation and had requested a quiet table. Don't understand the seating philosophy when there are options available for seating??????
Nice restaurant in local casino, fine dining in casual atmosphere. Menu includes a little for all palates. Two of us for dinner, one choose a steak dish and one the salmon. Steak cooked medium rare as requested, tasty and juicy. Salmon had to be returned to kitchen as undercooked. Service could be improved, had to flag down a different server than one assigned to our table to report the undercooked salmon, but once done, meal was recooked and came out just right. Assume kitchen and staff had an off night. Was traveling through, so not sure when I might try again.
We had a party of 8 and were pretty happy and full at the end. Everything felt a bit rushed. Wasnt sure if it was the servers wanting to get out or standard service but they took apps before they were finished and came twice to get orders within the first 5 mins- we hadn’t even looked at the menu yet. Sea Bass was good, lamb app was yummy. Beet salad- highly recommend and the Wagyu burger is perfect. Short rib is good, but a bit predictable and everything comes with fingerling potatoes. For a $500 meal, I’d prefer some creativity. Having said that, nothing was bad and we certainly felt tended to.
Matt was our Waiter and he was amazing ! I must say he was very attentive to our desires, and made sure we had everything we needed. Stephen was his assistant, and he made sure that our water glasses were full, and promptly took away our finished dishes. They were both very hospitable. The chairs were so comfortable and the ambiance was beautiful.
The food was great but we've got a terrible server who pretty much ignored us and did not even offer wine list or fresh pepper for our salad. We went there for my husbands birthday and had to ask if they had something for special occasions as we were not asked about it. We did overhear that server would another table about the occasion. The assisting server was more attentive than our main server. The assisting server would ask us how re we doing, take about photo etc but not the main server. Ended up giving feedback to the manager who was very apologetic and ensured he would address the issue.
our server Matt was not real friendly. We have always loved our servers every year we come to see you from Oregon. The next night we got Romeo and loved him. The gentleman that helped with bread, water, and other things was also our favorite... He was hispanic and so nice and good and his job.
We had a very special multi-family gathering with 9 in attendance. David and (Assistant), were very attentive, professional, affable and courteous. We were greeted by the Matre'D as old friends. (Having our usual once or twice a month visits to Napa Bistro early bird 2 for 1 probably has something to do with the "Old Friends" greeting)
The food was excellently prepared and served. All in attendance were impressed! We were served promptly and all in our party were satisfied.
My wife and I have spent more than one special occasion at the Atlantis, either in the Napa Bistro or the Steak House. Always have a great meal, great service and enjoyable time!
The wine list is quit good, prices if all ranges. We love the Astoria red.
Romeo is a superior server. The specials are usually a plus to a varied menu.
We try to eat here at least once month.
The salads are simple and we usually split a salad and each get our own entree.
Usually we have leftovers for the next day.
This has always been my favorite place and while we were there everything was great. Unfortunately about 3 hours after we got home I was violently ill for about 2 hours. Can't say for sure it was the food (which was delicious while we were there) but I couldn't bring myself to eat the leftovers that I was so looking forward to.
