The March Dining Month meals were fantastic! We enjoyed every bite!
Great atmosphere and food.wine list for special events (especially date nights). One of our favorites.
Excellent Beaverton dining! A talented chef prepares delectable and nutritious dishes which can be paired with well-chosen wines or mixed cocktails. I included a photo of the corned beef dish we had for St. Patrick's Day with a Tipperary cocktail. We feel quite fortunate to have this cozy dining spot nearby and we dine there several times a month. We also appreciate the warm service which makes the total experience so enjoyable.
There were 6 of us. First time there even though we live in the area. All are planning to return. Server, food and ambiance were great!!
Best secret in the Bethany / NW area! Must have their homemade pistachio ice cream.
What a delightful dining experience. Am going back next week! Food was yummy and service was exceptional .
The food is always very good. The service is excellent and the wine list is extensive. The owners are very friendly and they make us feel right at home.
It had been a few years since we were here. Food was great, presentation solid, seasoning exceptional. Great service as well. We'll be back more frequently...
Bethany’s Table remains one of my favorite restaurants in the Portland area. We invited another couple to have dinner at our neighborhood gem and they thoroughly enjoyed their meals and beverages. I am sure they will be back on their own, as we will.
We had a large group and the food was absolutely delicious for everyone! So glad they participated in the Portland Dining Month. The Butterscotch Pudding was incredible!
I was highly recommended to try this local restaurant. I took two of my friends for their birthdays and it was an incredible evening. The food was excellent! I found my new favorite restaurant!
We went there exploring the Portland Dining Month (2018). Had Happy Hour drinks before dinner . My Daiquiri was delicious. Chose the Shrimp with Polenta for dinner and my partner chose the chicken Marsala. Both were delicious .
Great place to go, fantastic food great wines and reasonably priced. Friendly.
We went for relative's 60th birthday party. Had a great enjoyable evening. We were warmly greeted at the front door, outstanding service, everyone enjoyed the entree. Had the three course meal with a glass of wine on top. How could you go wrong? ;)
Worth the drive.
The owner was attentive and friendly.
Staff was great.
Cocktails were excellent.
Short Rib Ragu. OMG! They slow roast it for 15 hours.
My only reservation (see what I did there?) is that our section of tables were crammed too close together. We were talking over the top of our neighbors, and we had to pull out our table out every time they went to the bathroom.
We went during Portland Dining Month. Excellent choices on the special menu, and in particular, excellent gluten free choices. The soup was amazing (and gluten free). And it's such a treat to find a new gluten free treat for dessert (butterscotch pudding). The main courses were really good too--spicy food was flavorful and spicy, vegetables were interesting and very tasty, meat was tender and sauces were great; everything beautifully presented. An excellent meal.
Cozy lighting and low noise level.
Waiter could have been more attentive.
Food was good.
A gem in the neighborhood.
Moved out of Bethany neighborhood about 5 years ago, but still came back to Bethany's Table because it was so good. After about 4 years, dropped in for Portland Dining Month. Still a great place to eat with creative stretches by the chef and excellent service. I simply wished we lived closer.
The food is always good at Bethany's Table.
Bethany’s Table was so great, I had made an original reservation for 8 people but more friend were able to meet us, the staff was very accommodating and added seats for us. We had a great time and we stayed past closing but they did not rush us out. Overall great experience.
Just Please give our compliments to Chef Anthony. He made sure we had the rack of lamb my family truly enjoys and cooked us a great meal!
I had the beef tenderloin special with brie mashed potatoes and I loved it. The meat was cooked to perfection and tasted so good! It was all good. And the wine choices were excellent. We chose a couple of their lower priced by-the-glass options and they were both delicious.
First time for us, and it was worth the trip from West Linn. Fun time!
The food was good and the bar had a good selection of drinks. But the service was really, really slow. We didn't get our meal until almost one hour after sitting down. And the ambiance just isn't a sit-and-linger-and-not-care-about -the-food kinda place. Especially with the kid next to us in the high-chair and neon LED shoes. But a decent local spot, but not quite a neighborhood gem.
The food is always delicious and the staff very friendly. Love to dine here whenever I’m in Portland.
As usual, Bethany's never fails to please us and our friends. The food is always exceptional . My Chicken Marsala was mouth-watering and I recall that my wife loveed her dinner (Cod or Salmon) equally well. House-made bread with crisp crust and soft center is to die for. The staff is super friendly, well informed and makes you feel like family. It reminds us of the many small restaurants we loved in France.
I have been to Bethany's Table multiple over many years and the quality of the meal never changes. Everything I have ever ordered is outstanding in taste and presentation. I tell people, order anything you want, it will be the best!!! And it always is.
Both of our meals were delicious, the service was impeccable and perfectly timed.
We go often to Bethany's Table. Janet and her staff are creative and the food is wonderful. It is a lovely neighborhood gem. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.
We went for Valentine’s Day, and had their 5-course menu. Had an overall good experience. Main course was great. Disappointed that they ran out of the desserts we wanted despite ordering ahead of time.
Nice restaurant, don't want to be too down since waiters gave it a good shot, but the place was totally overwhelmed and underprepared for Valentines Day dinner. They probably should have refunded folks for the tremendous delays in providing meals. On the other hand, this is clearly a nice place to eat and I hope they get it together next time.
We went to Bethany’s Table for our Valentines Day dinner. It was a great experience. 5 course dinner with a great wine pairing. Our server was great and the food was fantastic. I have already recommended the experience to others.
When I made the reservation for Valentines Day, I had never been to Bethany’s Table before. I was pleasantly surprised that they were serving a 5-course meal. It was amazing and one of the best dinners out I have had. Every course imaginative and delicious!
Valentine’s Day Date. Wonderful time, service and food!!
Enjoyed our dining experience. Food, service and ambiance were outstanding.
Really good food and nice to have a good place like this in the hood on the west side.
Wonderful paella! Great server! Had a lovely evening!
The food is reliably good. I have not tried anything that was sub-par. But none of the food was AMAZING. I like that the food is locally sourced and seasonal; I have seen the chef/owner shopping at the Beaverton Farmer's Market in the summer. I like having a good restaurant close to my house, so I do eat here semi-regularly to support the local economy. The only drawback is that I think the food is overpriced for what it is. While the food is four stars, they are charging prices as if the food is five stars.
We just moved from San Francisco. Bethany is on a par or above the great restaurants in San Francisco.
This was our first visit. We're always looking for Portland quality restaurants in the Hillsboro-Beaverton area as we are older and no longer wish to endure Portland driving conditions. Bethany's Table proved a great find. We will be back.
