The food is sensational. We've been several times, and never had a bad dish. Family style plates of perfection are served up time after time. The pizza is a must.
Our most recent visit was no exception in terms of the food, but we were quite disappointed with the service from the hostess. We were kept waiting for over 30 minutes past our reservation time, with no apology or attempt at accommodation, even though our party included a heavily pregnant woman.
An offer of a chair or seating would have been nice - instead, we had to fight it out at the crowded bar. I understand that the rain that day had taken several outdoor tables out of service, but a little grace and attempt at accommodation would not have gone amiss.

we ordered 5 dishes, 3/5 were great, the other 2 were meh. Service was good in the beginning but towards middle to the end, we can't find our server. we waited 20-30 min in between our last 2 dishes, and another 20 min before we flag him down to get the dessert menu.

For the price of the meals and drinks. and the amount of time we waited for a reservation (weeks), we have been to many other better places. The ambiance and decor were the best thing about it. We felt rushed to order the food at all once. The food was just good, just not what I would describe as delicious. I wouldn't recommended to others for a special night out.

The food was really fresh tasting on the salads, satisfying on the comfort food. Loved the marrow bones. I liked the technique of ordering all the selections at once and leaving it up to the kitchen to time delivery. There were 6 of us, the service was excellent. Fun atmosphere, we sat outside, I'm thinking inside might be too noisy.

We stayed in a room to close to kitchen so it was very hot and noisy to talk to friends. It was a group of 6 people. I recommend this restaurant for couple or 4 people due to the majority of tables are for 2 or 4.

My first experience was great. I was pretty turned on by the flavors, the service and the atmosphere.
Second experience wasn't so hot which I'm still pretty confused about. The clams and mussels dish tasted fishy and not fresh however the sauce is great. The Pizza was undercooked and soggy on the bottom. Probably shouldn't put a hot pizza on ceramic - it holds the moist! The wine sommelier that approached our table when we first sat down asked if we'd like anything to drink. My friend and I had a couple questions about the menu, but the woman was not having it! We actually felt attacked and talked down to. The energy was so intense from this woman I nearly got up to find the manager to them know, but decided to brush it off instead of making an ordeal.
I think Gjelina is the competition here!

Waited two months for this reservation. Bad start with the hostess, who didn't want to let our party have a table and start ordering while we waited for one additional member of our party. Limited menu, food is good but nothing to rave about. Interesting that they charge for bread, keeps you from eating a lot of it. $200 for appetizers, don't need to go back.

Oh em geeeeee! This was my second time. Everything was yummy. I was quite pleasantly surprised by the bone marrow. The lobster crostini was fantastic! The buratta pizza did not disappoint. The cider donuts were lovely.
I waited 2 months for the reservation, but it was well worth it!

It took me forever to get decent reservations for this place, but it was worth it. The service was impeccable and the food was memorable. We ordered: veal tartare, tomato salad, bone marrow gnocchi, the cavatelli, the panna cotta and the strawberries and cream. It was all delicious, especially the cavatelli. Our cocktails were also quite good. The only disappointment? No espresso to finish off the meal. Make sure this place is on your list.

A venue that attracts many different types of people with one thing in common, good food and good company.
Reservations are 2 months out and getting there is a little sketchy.
But once you're there, it's a different world and you feel safe.
Valet parking 7.50.
Patio is a little quieter than the inside.
Very warm inside during the summer.
Their pork entree is always good although the greens might be salty.
Salumi board and the spicy clams and mussels are a must order!
And don't forget to end with one of her fruity desserts.

I love this place. I think it's one of the very best restaurants I've been to in LA. We ordered a couple of the same dishes from our last visit, and although they had changed a bit, they were still delicious. You must try the clams and mussels in broth with chorizo.
Service is spot on and excellent. If I had to find fault, it is that their wines by the glass are very expensive. $26 for a glass of wine is quite steep.

This was my seventh trip, like the previous six it was wonderful. We definitely had fantastic tasting food and great variety. I Came with guests who are visiting from out of town. They were thoroughly impressed. As always service was fantastic.

My friend and I started our visit to LA by having dinner at Bestia and it lives up to the 'hype.' Excellent and well prepared food, energetic atmosphere and music, and the friendly servers ensures you will have a memorable experience.

A must in Los Angeles. One of the best restaurants I have been in this city. Their food is hearty, delicious, very well seasoned every single time. Flavors consistent, and a menu that changes with seasons keeps things interested. A bit pricey, but worth it.
Recommend: Bone marrow with spinach gnocchi, Alla'nduja pizza, Cavatelli all Norcina and the Apple cider donut!!

As always, an outstanding dining experience. Delicious food (grilled calamari, grilled bone marrow, burrata pizza and buttermilk einkorn cake were the evening's favorites) and outstanding service. However, the noise level is crazy loud; lots of shouting to be heard at our table of four.

Overall, everything was pretty good. It was a bit of a disappointment to make a reservation (10pm was the earliest for several weeks) and then show up on time (9:50 pm), but have to wait for 30 minutes before we could be seated. What is the point of making a reservation? It would have been fine if they had shown some sort of customer service (provided a drink while we wait, etc) but no, they just told us to go to the bar if we wanted anything or to wait outside. Once we were finally seated, everything was good though.

Had to make reservations more than a month in advance so we definitely had high expectations. The food was really good but nothing really blew our minds. Pizza was a bit soggy in the center and you have to cut it yourself with a knife. Cocktails were also good. Service was slower and less personal than some places. All around, I think it's a great restaurant to go to once but not worth waiting months for a reservation.

We opened the restaurant at 5pm Sunday (along with a lot of other people) and as always had a great time, every dish we choose was delicious, the server really knowledgeable and just great, our guests who had never been here before were blown away, there is nothing to criticize except for how difficult it is to get a reservation, but then, hey it was worth the wait. This place deserves all the attention it gets. Kudos to the owners, chefs, staff. By the way, i never give a review like this, usually i don't even bother to write a review at all, but i love this place.

We went for our daughter's 13 th birthday ... Her request and the third year in a row we have done this. She wasn't the only kid there either. Highlights were the chicken gizzards, bone marrow gnocchi and kale pizza. The uni pasta wasn't bad and the desserts are great. Dining on the terrace is lovely and not as noisy as inside.

Despite the long wait to get a table (over 3 months) the experience was fabulous!
The only thing that was not good at all were the chairs, as a matter of fact they are uncomfortable after the first hour, there are some booths that look just great, but because our party was only for 2 we got the regular small table and the "bar kinda chair" was not the best.
That being said, we tried a dish in every course... Oh la la...
We started with a lentil dip w/smoked branzino, so tasty and the smoky part so appealing.
Then we had a pizza with some kind of "italian chimichurri"...hmm, we had leftovers for breakfast.
Then, imagine like soup dumplings but with lamb in its juice... magnificent (my 2nd favorite)
We also share the boneless rib eye with arugula and radish on top, delightful (# 1)
Lastly, we had some fritters with ice-cream and some amazing butter.
We also had some cocktails and beer that they suggested and it turned out just great for my husband and I.
Thumbs up Bestia team, you are doing great!

Bestia is tucked into an alley basically and has an industrial chic vibe. It's a bit loud and trendy inside. A little quieter on the patio and very pretty. The food is fantastic! We had a salad with mozzarella, plums and cucumber.. seriously divine. The pizza is amazing! We split two pasta dishes...both fantastic! For dessert we tried the coconut and butterscotch tart... another winner! Great foodie spot! Perfect for before theater downtown!

One of the best dinner we had! We ate at Spago last week, and Bestia today was better than that. Everything we had was delicious, and the level of service was very very high. Not only everyone was professional and efficient, but they all had very positive attitude, which we liked very much. Even though the place was noisy, we enjoyed every moment in there. We are definitely coming back for more.

I would say that our visit to Bestia was THE BEST dining experienced we've had. The food was fantastic and the service was equally as great. Definitely one that we would easily recommend. It is now on our list of favorite restaurants that we look forward to visiting again soon.

One of our favorite restaurants hands down. I have come a few times here now and the menu changes constantly but never disappoints. Some consistent favs is the Chicken pate, lamb pasta and the chocolate salted caramel tart. My new fav drink is the Bestia Spritzer!!!

Lives up to its reputation and so worth planning ahead with a reservation. Every dish was a delight from the pate to the pizza (best I've had in the US) to the Bronzino. And the marrow is beyond description. Can't wait to go back.

Pretty disappointing experience. Waited 3 months for the reservation and the food was sub-par. The dishes were bland and overpriced and there was no "wow" factor. Would recommend plenty of other Italian restaurants before this one.

Although the we found glass in our drink the manager took care of it quickly and the overall experience was amazing. The food is out of this world good. I've been many times and would go more often if making a reservation wasn't so hard. Reservation availability is limited

We had to wait 1 1/2 hours to be seated. We had reservations at 9pm for a party of 8.
Debbie tried to nice to us and brought us complimentary drinks
That was nice, she was the only nice one.
Our waiter (not Debbie)was sort of rude and sarcastic.
