We have been a frequent diners here over the years, but last night by far was the worst experience ever! The space where you're seated is already limited, but to continue to allow ppl to be seated and literally piled on top of each other to the point that you can't eat, is never acceptable. The waitress disappeared several times and management did nothing about it.
Service has gotten poorer. We had to wait 30 minutes for our reserved table and the front area seemed to be in chaos. Our server seemed overwhelmed. We passed out our own salads and soups because she sat them down at our table but fogot and went to the next table to take orders. It took forever to get our tickets so we spent close to two hours eating lunch. Crazy. Nevertheless, the food was good.
My wife got a coupon for her birthday so we call to make a reservation and she asked if she had to bring the coupon and they told her just to bring her id. No need for printing the coupon. We got there after one hour driving and they told us we couldn't use the coupon and we couldn't get the special deal. I felt lied and really frustrated and we back again this day just to use the coupon but I'll probably not come back and tell my friend back in school not to go. The manager was careless and had zero empathy about the long drive and my wife's birthday. Servers are awesome but the people who run this place dont really care about people I guess.
This place is awesome! We have always had fantastic service here and the owner, Shapur, is super friendly, remembers us and usually shows us special treatment. I have also never seen an owner who not only waits tables but will set them up and bus them with his staff!
But this isn't even that best part- the food here is delectable: melt in your mouth steak (that is so good it tastes the same the next day as leftovers), succulent, fresh scallops, popping shrimp and crisp and savory veggies.
Love it here and will keep bringing our friends over and over!
This is always our spot for bringing our out of state guest and just a nice drop in spot for the family for occasional dining. Usually the wait staff is friendly and lively but not so much the last two times we have dined. I boast about the friendly high energy wait staff but I guess this was a off night or they weren't feeling it. You know good customer service is what keep us coming back. This will not deter us from coming but I want them to like their job and make us feel like they do anyway. We have been dining with you for years and don't plan to stop. Good Eats
The environment was nice and the server was somewhat personable but seemed to lack experience. He was hard to track down and we had to remind about our appetizer sushi rolls, when we did he told the cook "I put them in as soon as they told me". Of course the issue was that he never asked us about anything . . .we had to raise a flag to get his attention for any and everything . . .very unprofessional. The cook was OK but again lack led experience. He tried very hard and liked his job, just not to the level we have previously experienced at these type of dining venues. We drove more than 30 miles one way to eat here. Ended up that the experiences we have had at our local Japanese steakhouse surpassed the experience we had here in virtually all areas. Sad because the last experience we had with benihanas was very good when the little rock location existed . . .it does not anymore and I think if competing comes along this one won't either.
This a great place for the entire family. My kids, 8 & 6, love to watch the food cooked in front of them, and the chef/cook interacts with the kids while cooking.
The food is excellent, but the price is higher end for a family of 4, so this is a place we go to for special occasions. However, the quantity you receive makes 2 meals for my family. Keep that in mind when you pay.
Management will also come around to check on guests, and if you need anything it is taken care of quickly.
Overall, I highly recommend it, for the service, quality of food, and the fun atmosphere.

I met my now Husband at your facility, and with saying that, it will be 4 years of marriage on 09/02/16.

If you have time constraints and are planning this venue for a lunch hour event I would look elsewhere. Fortunately, our group of thirteen included the boss. We had reservations for 11:00am and were not seated until 11:30am. We were there a total of two hours, The food however was fabulous and our cook was a hoot. I would definitely go back.
We got seated right away and our order was taken. My group ordered some sushi along with hibachi. I noticed that every other table received their sushi and I still hadn't. I asked the waitress about it and she said the sushi bar was really backed up. I got the sushi after I received my tuna. The chef was done and cleaning up the grill. It was very disappointing! We just asked for it to be boxed up. I'm not sure it we'll be back or not, we have hibachi restaurants much closer to our home that are not as expensive and provide much better service.
