Made an reservation for 9:00. Waited a half hour after arriving. Was told after my date and I were seated that we wouldn't see a chef for an hour, due to the restaurant being short staffed. No one from the front desk or management said anything up to that point. If I go back to Benihana again, it won't be this location.
Overall, my party had a good time and the food was great. The sole problem appeared to be a lack of hibachi chefs at the time my party was there. Understood it to be a 1-off thing, and not likely to happen again. Will come back again, as past experiences have been really great ones.
Was annoyed at us and rude.

Had a great time. A little disappointed though. Went for my daughters birthday. I was told by a friend she would get a photo in a frame and they come out singing. Got nothing.
Awful!!! We made a 7:00 reservation for 3 people, and waited almost an hour to get seated!!! We continuously asked how long as we had reservations and others coming in way after us we’re getting seated, and told 2 minutes for almost an hour. They apparently don’t wear anyone until they can fill a table of 8, so we were waiting for a party of 5 to possibly come. Ridiculous!!!! Food was fair, expensive and we won’t be back!! Terrible!!
Our dinner reservation was for 7 pm; we arrived early in the hopes that we’d get seated sooner. We waited an hour for a table, then another half hour for drinks and the start of our meal. The food was excellent but the wait - with reservations - was too much.
Overall experience was good however we had along wait even with reservations. Thought the hostesses could've been more honest about the wait time. Kept telling everyone 15 minutes when the wait was more like 45 mins.
I love this place & truly enjoyed myself & the food...
the bathroom is horrible. you need more servers to keep up with drinks when it gets busy or at least have someone help the server.

This really was the worst Benihana I've ever been to. The service and experience is really what you pay for and there definitely were a lack of both. All the rest of the reviews talking about 30 minute waits beyond reservation time are extremely accurate. We went to leave when they seated us immediately around 40 minutes late and when we walked back we could see 6-7 unseated tables. Not enough chefs? Got worse when we barely saw the waitress and it took an hour for the chef to get off the plane from Japan. Food was okay cause of mandatory recipe I'm sure but otherwise terrible.
Are cook was delightful but very very light on the garlic butter or any seasoning food meat was bland and I ask for my steak well done and was still bloody had to ask him to put it back on the grill the rice was so dry and bland that everyone at the grill ask for the cook soy sauce to put on ourself and are portions for rice barely fill the bowl. The grill next to us had a 2 servers a woman and a man. The man server must if known couple people at his table he was serving because at one point he was standing there and had a 20 minute conversation which he was talking very loudly and everyone at are grill was making remarks. Are server was a nice young lady we did order the 6 course meal and never got are ice cream and it was never offer to us. At this point we where waiting a while for our checks and just wanted to leave. This was my husband and I 3rd time here and first time we where very disappointed we have 6 kids and don't get out much and get a chance to spend $140 on 2. Six course meals apps and drinks that often so was dissatisfied with our visit.
My reservation was an hour later, the hostess never informed us. She was not professional at all

Very poor organization.
Our chef wasn't very personable. Didn't have any interaction with us through out the cooking.
I made reservations on OpenTable and I left a message that it was my birthday celebration and to see if they can cook my food and olive oil. When we arrived the manager ask to see if we have reservations and she told us one second they was getting the tables together we set over the hibachi our waitress was nice and also the chef and we had the whole Hibachi Table to our self it was so nice I ordered the chicken and shrimp which was to die for and my husband ordered shrimp and scallops and we both had white rice but next time I go back I might add the fried rice but that looked at Soul delicious thank you for my gift card I really appreciate it and I enjoyed myself and at the end the special treat with the ice cream birthday singing and also complimentary photograph a Special Touch after dinner. Thank you again and will be back soon.
It was such an enjoyable time I cannot complain our Chef was amazing.
Great staff as well as great food. The cooks takes their time and make u comfortable.
The server was rude and never was with the table. We had to have the chef obtain sauce for the table due to the server never being around.

More expensive than your typical mom and pop hibachi restaurants with sub par food. It was okay but not really anything to write home about.
Reservations were made for 8:30pm for 4 we were not seating until 9:45 and they closed at 10 was the last guest their for daughters birthday
We had a reservation at 6:45 pm to celebrate my birthday. We arrived a little before 6:40, and the young lady at the desk checked us in and said it would be a few minutes. To us, a few minutes is five to ten minutes. A half hour later, we were still standing, with about forty other people. More kept coming in, but none were seated. One family left. My husband asked me if I wanted to leave. I said we had already waited a half hour, and it was a birthday celebration, so we waited a bit more. Then, another family went to the desk to complain. At that point, after waiting 45 minutes, with a reservation, and with low blood sugar, we decided to leave and go to another restaurant. At no time did anyone explain or apologize for the wait. We will never go back. There are enough good (and respectful) restaurants in the area that we do not need to waste our time at this poorly managed restaurant.

I go to this restaurant once or twice a year and some experiences are better than others. It is hibachi in its original form. It is a nice experience. Food-wise this place is good but not great. I will keep going back b/c it is a nice experience.
THEE. WORST. BENIHANA. EVERRR!!! I don't even know where to begin!!! This place is DIRTY! My server didn't know the menu/wine list, nor did she ask for ID. It took FOREVER for our food to come! Our server was tatted up (not from "Japan"). Floors looked like they haven't been cleaned in over a month!!!! This place needs to be shut down!!!!!!!
Reservation 6:30. Seated 7:00. Cook arrives 7:40. Finally get out of there 9:25.
The food was delicious. The service was attentive without taking away from the experience and the chef was personable and adept at his work.
Took my adult daughter there for her birthday. We had a great time and met some lovely "tablemates" - we will definitely be going back.
The food and the service were excellent. BUT, it was cold in the restaurant, even after we moved away from the end of the room.

Worst experience of my life! Manager Jeremy completely unable to handle situations and offered up no resolution I had already paid the bill! There was hair in my plate upon arrival and we froze the entire time due to the vent being open. I spent $145 and have never been so disappointed. Take your money and time a go somewhere else! Not worth it all!
The waitress was slow and barely checked on us but other than that it was a great experience. We were dining at Benihana’s to celebrate my son’s 10th birthday.

Server had a bad attitude the minute she came to our table. Chef did none of the special culinary effects normally performed. Disappointed as we usually enjoy this experience about twice a year.
Great food and service. A tad bit pricey but still a great place to go for a great time.
I tried this restaurant because I received a gift card. The waiter disappeared at the end of the night and someone else brought the bill. We were never asked if we wanted desert or tea. When I went to pay the bill I was informed that my $50 gift card had a zero balance. We asked to see the manager and had to wait 10 minutes. He did not offer any type of discount for the waiters lack of service or having to pay an additional $50 since the gift card did not work. Very poor customer service on his part and his waiter. There actions ruined our dining experience and our night. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone!
I did send the corporate office an email today and they told me the gift card was defective.
They told me they are sending a replacement gift card for $100. I guess I will give them another try. I hope it’s a better experience - we will see
