The food is always very good. The service is first rate and the "show" is a blast, but that's why we go there.
Great experience. Entertaining cook and excellent food.
Our waiter was awesome and so was our chef! the bar tender wasnt good with customers but made decent drinks for our friends.
Be aware they have a holiday menu with more expensive prices. Same food as the day before just more expensive.
We had mothers day reservations for 6, the food was wonderful, the chef man was great, service over all was great, but when we went to sit down, they said we have to seat two people at the end so keep one end open, well, ok... we can do this.. i guess, so they come next asking if I can scoot over for a place for the baby coming to the table... and they then cram two people and a baby at the same station we are at. i felt very uncomfortable for them , at least the baby was a quiet baby. but , we spent over 400.00 for mothers day meal and we are squished together the entire time. I am highly disappointed in this type of arrangement. i would not have gone there had i known this would have happened. i won't be going there next mothers day for sure... or any other special occasion.
We were met at the door by a woman still literally getting dressed at the checkin counter. She informed us to wait at they weren’t really open yet.
Then the Wait staff was rude, confused and rushed himself. He rushed us through the meal and was not knowledgeable or efficient. He missed items and was confused 🤷🏽♂️ Very unprofessional.
I was expecting a photo for mother’s day and possibly a special flower.
Very disappointing with the service.
However the chef, Danny, did a great job, as always.
We used to love Benihana but haven’t been in a year or so. We were so disappointed during this visit that I’m pretty sure we’ll never go back. First, when we walked in it was so ridiculously Smokey, it was as if they hadn’t had the overhead fans on all day. The soup in the beginning of the meal tasted so watered down, it took the chef 45 minutes after our orders were placed to come to the table. They didn’t do the mushrooms with the steak like usual and every other table around us had mushrooms. As soon as the final food was served, the waiter came over and immediately started boxing up our food-we didn’t even have time to enjoy it. So we went home to eat it and low and behold, the steak was just like the soup-tasted like nothing. Super disappointing experience.
Service was lacking, but the food & entertainment were great as usual
Fabulous and yummy as always!! LOVE going to Benihana's!
For the second time in a month we had the same female chef. She was pleasant but over cooked the seafood. Not our best experience there and we go there often.
Chef was great
Manager was great and Very accommodating of a mistake.
The food was excellent, get lots of food for the money. The cook was very entertaining,,
Great place to eat. Fun when there’s kids at the table. They get so excited. Food is always good. A fun time. We always stop in the bar and have sushi before we go to our table. Works out great. Would recommend it to anyone.
Chef Jeff was awesome! Celebrating birthday's are fun at Benihana.
second time having a chef that cant perform the tricks correctly and only makes awkward conversation. Makes for a weird experience sitting in front of the performance and having them make mistakes all night long.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting great service and good food!
It was great as usual. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the the cook was fairly new and didn't get as hyped or as playful as other cooks I've had in the past. It was a first time experience for my mom and I had wanted her to see how fun it could be when you have a lively cook. She was OK. You have to start somewhere. She was kind and I am sure she will get better with experience.
Awesome as always and a great value. Drinks were great too!
Unfortunately 2 of the drinks were so strong of alcohol that we were unable to drink them. Left our full glasses on the table, wondering if we would get a chance to get them fixed, but no one cared to ask why we didn’t touch 2 very pricey drinks, nor remove them from our bill. That was a huge disappointment, the rest of the experience was what we had expected as we have been there several times. Thanks!
We had a 5pm Thursday evening reservation for 10 (6 kids, 4 adults). We were seated immediately, and we then proceeded to watch table after table sit, eat and leave while we waited. Our server was friendly and very helpful, but for such a slow time, I’m not sure why it took so long to get drinks. Around 6:15, our chef arrived. Chef was not on their A game and the kids were wowed by the surroundings tables instead. Finally, at 7:30, we paid our checks and left. 2.5 hours we sat there and it’s not as though we ordered a lot of food. Each family spent around $120-150 and none of us left fully sated. Needless to say, we won’t be returning. Sadly, this was the second chance their management asked us to give them.
We had the very worst chef he did the bare minimum and kept screwing that up. He had the personality of a wet blanket with zero flare.he dropped the egg and screwed up the onion volcano and didn’t even re do it he just moved on. It was a real let down especially since we drove 3 hours to go there and we could see all the other good chefs around us! So disappointed!! I believe our chefs name is as Jeff or Jason, he talked about himself way to much. He works at the Saturday market in the summer making fried rice.
Orders were messed up and forgotten. Watery drinks. Not the experience I’d expect for $50/person.
They did a good job on my reservation it the food was ok but the cost for basically getting shrimp and steak fried rice is not worth it. Didn’t really get a so the guy came out didn’t talk to us he did his grilling and that was all. It was nice to get out with friends but we won’t be coming back for the food
Fun for a couple or couple couples... atmosphere is the draw and the food preparation is well done - may need to return a couple times and understand all the in's and out's of this hibachi dining / chefs table
It was my birthday and the staff really made me feel special!!
Jeff was our chef, and he was phenomenal! Great experience overall.
Our chef Dylan was so much fun! Very skilled ... our server was freshening drinks before we could think to call her, overall a great experience with excellent service.
The chef did a great job. The waiter however when you would ask him for something he consistently told us to hold on and would forget what we asked for.
They brought Togo boxes at the same time they finished cooking. Never felt so rushed. We decided it will be a while before we return.
The server was great, the chef was awesome, the food was superb.
We where seated quickly, beers took longer than they should have.
Dining was great but the floors are disgustingly dirty.
Great food, great fun, just everything they serve is great.
Waiter was hard to find (it appears there is only one waiter per table). The stewardess was rude. The chef for our table appeared to be reciting his lines instead of truly engaging the audience. He kept looking elsewhere like we were a bother. The quality of the meat for the price was definitely not worth it. Overall, not worth my time. We will not be going back and we will definitely spread the word about the negative experience.
Loved the ambience, great courteous waiters and staff. Amazing cooks, especially hibachi. Food was fresh and amazing. Would recommend.
Birthday celebration for grandson
We had a newer chef, and he was very passive aggressive with his jokes. We would have been able to look past that if the food was well made. Both of our steaks, seafood, and even veggi's were not cooked, nor seasoned like they usually are. We are frequent customers, and really aren't picky, BUT had to write a review since his entire demeanor, and the experience was poopy. Hopefully we'll have better luck next time!
Let’s get the bad out of the way. Not sure if they had a sushi chief in training that night but the shushi rolled we ordered was blah “I’ve had better from the local grocery stores” tasteless and falling apart. On a good note they didn’t charge us for it so that was nice. Everything else we had was amazing. The fillet mignon was off the charts silky smooth and melted in your mouth mmmmm. We had two types of steak both great and a few different types of shrimp. I don’t like sea food and theses were awesome. A bit pricey and a bit of a wait but totally worth it.
Food was great! Kayzee was a wonderful cook and did some things that I hadn’t seen in my many years of frequenting a Benihana. The waiter got overwhelmed which ended with empty glasses on our table. It’s bad when the cook has to summon a waiter to fill drinks at his table.
