About Beau's On The River
Beau’s on the River opened at the Sheraton Suites Akron/Cuyahoga Falls in May of 2013. This restaurant on the river offers stunning views of the river rapids and falls with floor to ceiling windows with and innovative contemporary décor.
As a sister property to Beau’s Grille at the Hilton Akron/Fairlawn, we offer a casual atmosphere with plenty of the same great food and service that the award winning Beau’s Grille has been treating our loyal customers to for years. Executive Chef Billy Thurman takes a unique twist on some of your old favorites with a fresh look and taste to his style of cooking. His mouthwatering plates taste even more amazing than they look.

Everything was made to order. Waiters were on target with excellent service. Food was prepared and served with highest quality. When we requested a window seat the response was "Yes Sir" and not the usual, "We'll see what we can do". Highly recommended for a late afternoon-early night dinner to catch the outdoor fall setting.

My wife and I ate at Beau's on a Saturday evening. We were given a window table, so the view was very nice. The food and serve were also very good. We would recommend this to a friend and will definitely return.
There's also a nice bar on premises with live entertainment some evenings.

It was good, as usual. I called the night before and confirmed bottomless mimosas, but they are only served on Sunday. Our server was great, but the front staff (seaters) seemed put off by having to deal with us, lol.
Food was great, though. Sunday Brunch is wayyyy better.

Food was well prepared, creative, and nicely presented on the plates. We left almost too full because did not want to leave food on our plates. The view of the river from the glass dining room creates a nice atmosphere for a special meal.
Dined here for a birthday dinner on the actual date, a Monday night. We had reservations given the 45 mile drive, but apparently some large parties (10-12 people each) showed up without reservations. Only one server and an assistant on duty that night. So everything from initial drinks, to app's, to meal was very slow arrinving. We complained to manager and he comped a portion of our bill. We will go back, but will definitely call the day of to insure adequate serving staff.

The menu was excellent as was the food. I particularly liked the small portion of salads and the small plate choices of the entrees. Good variety on the wine list, both glasses and bottles. Wonderful view and relaxing, peaceful location. Service was good but slow--perhaps all the better to enjoy the ambiance. Convenient place to eat before going to Blossom Music Center but plan ahead so there is time to enjoy and not be rushed.

This was our first visit here and it really impressed us.
The inside was fresh and modern, beautiful views overlooking the river so ask for a window seat

Second visit in 2 weeks which offers our compliments on Beau's. Again food was excellent with very fair prices. The lamb was very tasty, yet came medium although I asked for rare. The portion is large enough to take a portion home for the next day!

One of the best restaurants in NE Ohio! We don't think of going to a hotel restaurant very frequently, yet Beau's always exceeds expectations. The variety of choices makes it difficult to decide between excellent menu choices and the evening specials. The scallops were prepared in an unusual yet extraordinarily tasty manner and were the largest yet tender scallops I have experienced.
The prices are reasonable, with a small yet quality list of wines. Excellent service with each preparation delivered in a very professional manner.
We will be going again next week.

Service was excellent. Presentation was beautiful. We thought the prices were also good. Last but not least, the scenic view was unbelievably gorgeous. It was an excellent choice for my birthday dinner. I have already recommended this to friends and coworkers❤️

The menu sounded tasty and the location couldn't be beat, however the food quality was extremely poor. My chicken parmesan was burnt beyond recognition and my wife's salmon was dry as a bone. It's painfully clear that the chef can't manage the kitchen.

I have had the lobster bisque many times, but this time I was disappointed. It was thin and too sweet. I should have sent it back, but I didn't. Also I don't remember it being that pricey, $7.95 for such a small cup...seriously?? Other than that, our server was great and so was our entree. Beau's will continue to be one of our favorite dining restaurants.

This reminds me of a time when people sat and talked enjoyed each other's company slowed down - this is the perfect place for that

We went to Beau's for our anniversary. Although we have been there few times before, this was the worst experience we have had! Salad came without dressing and when I told the waiter he returned to say the cook stated they put it on but they didn't have anymore because that was the last salad of that type!! What?? It's Tuesday night at 18:30! How is that possible? Also, my husband's fries were "taken" by someone else from the kitchen, therefore we had to wait for another side to be cooked and brought at the end of dinner! Not acceptable!!

This was my second outing to Beau's on the River. Just like the first seating, this time on the downstream side of the restaurant was just as good. The salad bar is extremely generous with fresh, well-prepared and attractively laid out items. The breakfast portion in chaffing dishes along the Eastern-most wall had a few items that looked like they'd been sitting through the first rush and may have been over baked. We got there an hour after they opened for brunch incidentally. Their omelet and pancake griddle seems to always have a line, so you have to time it right to get your order in and then not stand around waiting. Maybe they could take your order and give you a number and have a runner bring it to your table. Their carved meats were right on for temperature and tenderness. And while I like to use my hands to eat, hand-food, I'm not much of a fan eating bone-in items like the chicken Marseille. Other than that the lunch portion of the buffet was tasty, well prepared, appetizing. They also do a bottomless mimosa and a well poured bloody mary, complete with all the fixings bar. Bottom line - Beau's is well priced, great food, great scenery to go to on a special occasion, a get away from the rut or expense of other Sunday Brunches.

The view from the dining room of the falls on the Cuyahoga Rivers is terrific! We really enjoyed our lunch, and struggled on just one option because there were so many to choose from. The Lobster Bisque was delicious - absolutely full of mushrooms, which we weren't expecting -- but something we'd ordered again and again. The sandwiches are quite large, and we can highly recommend the Salmon BLT. We will definitely go again when we're in the area.

Food was just a little bland. Regular, everyday hotel food. Read a few reviews and thought this was an actually restaurant not just a hotel restaurant. Best thing about the restaurant was the view. Wasted our money -- no one enjoyed their food on Father's Day.

My wife had the fillet ($28) and it was overcooked. Though in the restaurants defense, she did order it medium/medium well. She said Outback's fillets are better. I had the scallop pasta ($28) which was absolutely perfect. The scallops were perfectly cooked as well as the pasta. I really can't put into words just how delicious my dinner was. My wife and I eat out quite a bit and I'm rarely impressed with dinner. But I'd give my dish five stars without hesitation. We went on a Saturday evening and it was rather empty. The waiter was slow and not very attentive. Normally I wouldnt care but when I'm paying $170 for a dinner for two, my expectations are a bit higher. Dessert was good but I gotta say that jeckyls in chagrin falls was a bit better. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place for a romantic evening out. We dropped about $400 with dinner, a few drinks at the bar afterwards, and a room for the night (which was nice btw).

The view was amazing! We had the short ribs and the truffle cheese ravioli, both excellent, as were our drinks. It took quite a while to get our food, but the price was very reasonable and everything else was perfect
My wife and I had a kid-free weekend and decided to go somewhere a little nicer than the norm for dinner. The views over looking the river were phenomenal. The service was attentive but not overbearing. The food took a very long time to come out, especially considering they were not busy at all. For my meal I chose the lamb. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. My wife had the short ribs and it was OK. It was smothered in way too much sauce, most likely in attempt to cover up how dry the meat was. It also seemed as if not much thought or care was put into the presentation of either meal. Nothing was bad about our dining experience here, but for the money I would have expected much better. We will most likely not return.
