The food was ok, server acted like we should have known everything on the menu even after we explained it was our first time there.
Very nice I’ll be ambience, great food, entertaining staff
Back never fails to disappoint. From the Parmesan cracker when you sit down to fresh baked focaccia bread. Everything is always delicious. Today had the salmon with the spinach zucchini purée soup. It was all delicious. Had to use the focaccia to soak up the last bit of flavors. Another amazing meal.
Food was good, but overpriced for the quality - noise level was horrible, service was ok, but overall not recommendable for a nice dining experience
kind of gave up on Bacco after last visit but tried them again on Saturday night. The food was outstanding I had the Papardalle with rabbit ragu it was amazing. My wife had the veal which was also cooked prefect and plentifully. Had the eggplanr appetizer and angel food cake dessert. Lucianno was there checking all the plates I was glad to see Bacco is back on its game.
The best Italian I’ve found in Michigan
Luciano has built a wonderful establishment based on excellence in service, food and providing the warmth of feeling welcome! Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best!
Excellent service and food
This is a great spot for dates and special occasions. we have been there twice and both times the food and environment were great.
Bacco is spectacular. Chef Luciano is arguably the best chef in Michigan and our meal was proof of that. We started with a beautiful scallop (stunning porcini sauce!) and shrimp appetizer followed by small portions of strozzopretti norcina (which would truly be my last meal, if I had to pick) and cavatelli with mushrooms. I then had the perfect osso buco. My dining companions were wowed by their lamb and salmon entrees. Tiramisu was a perfect ending to this lovely meal.
The service was spot on. I can’t wait to return.
As usual the food was great and the service very supportive and friendly!
Always worth going to Bacco!
As usual it was great! Warm and heartily welcome, great food, good wine, super service!
It is the closest to Italy in the US!
Detroit has long had its fair share of what might be called "comfort food" Italian restaurants, but only over the past decade or so have there been any truly world-class restaurants that go much beyond the classic red sauce and pasta types of dishes. Bacco is, by far, the best of the current crop. The meal starts with some lovely parmigiano reggiano. We topped it with one of the lovely champagnes available by the glass and then a marvelous Italian red. I'll keep this review short but suggest that every item, from appetizer to desert matched and exceeded expectations. I do suggest trying to get into one of the side rooms, including the enclosed (for the winter) patio, as they are quieter and more roomy than the main dining area. But the experience is lovely wherever you're seated.
Beautiful decor ,excellent service great wine offerings, valet
Avoid Bacco on Valentine’s Day - limited menu, overbooked, rushed through dinner, didn’t feel special.
From the Valet,to the hostess,to the waiter, to the food, it was an outstanding evening .
Treated very well. Honored my request for special table to celebrate important occasion.
Went for a Valentine's Day dinner. The food was incredible, creative, and authentic. The bartender helped us find an affordable but perfect bottle of wine. Staff was attentive and gave great recommendations.
This is a great place and best Italian food we can have in metro Detroit area.
Outstanding meal. Food was better than many places in Italy last year!
Always fantastic at Bacco's. Food is awesome and the service makes it special every time!
Always a great meal. I think the main dining room is too harshly lit at dinner time and the acoustics may be problematic with louder/larger tables.
Hostess was rather obsequious when my companion did not want to check fur. Other than that 5 Star experience
Person on phone 3 feet away talked for 3/4 of meal
Spoke to waiters and hostess who did nothing
Was on speaker so was very loud making meal unenjoyable
Will not go back
Love, love, love the food!!!❤️❤️❤️ Everything in the menu is great! The service is also wonderful!!! We will definitely be coming back for more!!!
I have been lucky enough to dined in this restaurant probably 5 times in the last 12 months. I keep going back because the food is so good. I never order pasta out but always share some here because it is so good. Salads are great. I usually get a fish dish and they are wonderful
My wife and I had dinner at Baccos last Saturday and it was ok. They took our dinner reservation for 5p, but when we arrived, we were asked to wait in our cars until just after 5p. The staff was still being briefed and setup was incomplete when we entered. We waited at the bar until 5:20p, then seated and able to place our drink and appetizer order almost immediately. Overall, the service was great, the drinks were good, except the French75, and the food was just ok. We will return for drinks and a light appetizer, but not dinner.
We visited for the first time for a business meal and it was a great experience. The food was great and the service was attentive.
Great food and service.
Disappointed that no table was available in the main dining area.
Loved our night at one of the best local restaurants around! Staff is loving and friendly and treats you with grace and at familial level as well! Truly one of the best meals
New Years Eve
Bacco is outstanding!!!
I took my staff there for our Holiday lunch and it was awesome!
Lunch at Bacco is a great value. The food and service are excellent, as always, and the prices are more manageable. The restaurant is also quieter than it is at dinner. This is an outstanding choice for a special occasion lunch.
This was an unexpected stop for a very late lunch (so late we were alone in the dining room) . Octopus, gnochi, branzino, all very well prepared. "Worth the trip"
The food was wonderful, well presented and beautifully cooked. We had the scallop appetizer, rabbit gnocchi, and roasted sea bass, which was all delicious. They were also willing to accommodate us by splitting the entrees onto two plates so my wife and I could share it. Their bread was fresh and served hot and toasted. It was a wonderful experience, I recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Bacco is a quiet and uniquely sophisticated (yet friendly) atmosphere with great food, ambiance and service. Always a pleasure!
The food was fresh and delicious. Marinara sauce reminded me of my families. Salad was perfectly dressed and loved the touch of shaved Parmesan. The focaccia and Parmesan crackers served were delicious. Server was attentive and gave us enough time to enjoy each course knowing we were celebrating a special occasion.
I had not been to Baccos for some time. The Italian food was outstanding. Also enjoyed the wine from their expansive wine list. The meal and service incredible
Another magnificent evening at Bacco ! This restaurant never fails to impress. Food is always superb with service to match. The staff go out of their way to ensure an attentive and friendly atmosphere. Undoubtedly some of the finest Italian food in the Mid-West, rivaling and exceeding top New York names. I will be back soon....
We had a great dinner the other night, food, ambiance and service was perfect. Highly recommend!
